April 30, 2018 4.0 Pros I use it on a limited basis, but from what I've seen it's easy to understand, and easy to use. It's wonderful in that it's quick and takes less paperwork. Cons I guess the issue we have the most difficult with is reconciliation with the bank, and the cut-off's for donations each week. Even people who don't use their smart phones that much are able to use it. Cons I wish we got notifications for each donation instead of having to look in & look for it. An immediate notification helps us assure people their donation was received. It would be nice if 501(c)(3) non-profit orgs had a lowered or discounted transaction charge as well. The Zapier integration is nice because it let's you choose how the notification should be delivered. You can do email, Slack, text message, and many other notification channels! Cons If anything - I wish that the follow up was more than the allotted time, since many of our donors have not paid yet. As well, the fact that it automatically sends a thank you email that includes their notice of tax deductibility is a big help. Cons I think the UI on the admin side is quite outdated and not always clear at times where to go when you need to accomplish something specific. It was relatively easy to set up and get started using. I was attempting to use it in a non-standard format (multiple it at once on a single night) and it performed admirably. Unlike other "text to give" platforms I've used, this one actually allows the user to give via text message. As strange as that sounds, there are other platforms that use the same term and force users to give via email instead of text. Txt2Give is very straight forward, it's low risk and high reward. It was a quick and easy set up and the customer support was, and continues, to be incredibly attentive. I have received positive feedback from several users regarding the simplicity of the product. We are not currently using it as often as we hope to in the future, but I anticipate the product will continue to serve us well. I have already recommended this software to others. I love that the sign up process for donors is easy and 1 time. Cons For some reason the website won't load on my preferred browser (Firefox). Whenever I log in I have to switch to Chrome. Texting is the most convenient, quick, and easy way to communicate with each other. Being able to give to use text messaging as a method of giving, in a way that is simple to use, is wonderful. Cons I like the software a lot. I do wish that donors who use PayPal did not have to do the extra step of being re-routed to the PayPal site and taking the extra steps needed to give. Cons There's not much to dislike about this software ... I think the random phone number is the only thing I dislike.
