Considering that fact, Sophos mobile control is a best solution to set up a central monitoring system that functions as both supervising and securing the software and wide variety of devices within the organization. Pros Our organization use Sophos Mobile Control as a central device and security management system as it provides easy-to-use GUI and enable administrator to login and monitor the wired and wireless endpoints connected. In fact, things went so well I installed it on all my devices. Pros I write a lot. Part of my job also includes turning this writing into audio recordings. So this means I have a lot of saved data I have to worry about. It's my bread and butter. Sophos has turned out to be a bit of software that has set my mind to ease. This day and age people are always trying to get a hold of your data. Hackers who want to hold it ransom make big earnings this way. Sophos keeps an eye on that. Not only does this application keep track of apps you install, but it simultaneously watches over your router to check for things like remote connections. It feels great having a little bit of armor in the day of digital media. Cons When I first started using Sophos I thought it was an absolutely free program. It gives off this vibe. Get when you go to install the Security suite on your PC they will ask you to upgrade just like everyone else. This isn't a bad thing. They actually have great options on the free version alone. Pros Sophos installs easily and didn't require excessive communication between me and our IT department because it's fairly self-explanatory once the system is in place for you to connect a new device. Cons Sophos has an almost scary amount of control over the devices which I have to connect through it, and sometimes it is over-sensitive in blocking websites which I know are safe. June 20, 2021 5.0 We've been utilizing Sophos in our organization since 2019, and we've had a great experience with it thus far. The remote deployment worked effectively on the majority of our machines. Sophos Endpoint Protection is a great tool that's easy to set up and use for employees. Almost all of our organization's PCs are now protected by Sophos. We are not permitted to download anything from official software sites without their authorization. Daily activity reports and an alert in the case of any detrimental activity are sent to our Security Managers on a regular basis. Thanks to Sophos, they are always aware of each and every member's activities. Pros There are a lot of features given by Sophos that I really enjoyed, the first and foremost of which is the ability to track all of the users' activities that are under Sophos' supervision. Furthermore, you can simply restrict specific online content that should not be viewed by employees, and even if the information is blocked, the employees can still access it. If a user requests that the administrator searches for the content that he will be accessing, and the administrator agrees, the user will be able to access it following the administrator's permission. This, in my opinion, is one of the greatest features. Cons Even though Sophos is one of the top security endpoint protection solutions, there are certain issues that need to be addressed, such as the incorrect identification of some apps as threads. Furthermore, for larger organizations, the initial setup, and configuration of Sophos take a long time. Pros Very intuitive and fast deployment solution. It implements management solutions regarding apps, configurations and company data access and also a Security solutions in threat detection. Being in the medical field I tend to have sensitive information on me very frequently. When I saw the phone protection software from Sophos I knew I needed to try it, and I am not disappointed. Also the ability to install apps remotely is another plus to it all. Pros The ability to integrate AT&t Mobile to automatically sync with the Apple DEP allows this flow to work seamlessly by the moment we purchase a new device it will automatically sync to the Sophos MDM Cons There are times when it could get a little confusing on when you want to do profiles or task bundles but that is only understanding the process. I have an older iPhone 6s and this app tells me what is going on with random notifications. Everyone thinks that Apple is virus-proof and that just isn’t the case.
