I like it for setting up projects quickly, time tracking, and invoicing. Cons The only way this really works is if you have a single person creating a project. Pros This has helped our team manage projects and coordinate efficiently. Cons I wish we could open pdf’s in the iPad app, Mark them up and re-upload directly to Freedcamp. The scheduling of repeated tasks is not so good because of which am also forced to use external calendars that show those for any time frame. Pros Integration of many aspects for being organized - tasks, calendar, projects. Cons Scheduling of repeating tasks is confusing as it does not show up in the long term view. At time I have to wonder whether system has missed it. I looked into using Freedcamp as a potential solution for a complicated project with a number of people and moving parts. It has proved such an asset to my work that I have now added a second project and will be using for all of my consulting work. A plus is the time and invoice feature. Founder and designer Used the software for: ### "Super simple and easy to use" October 19, 2015 4.0 Freedcamp is a very basic project management tool and not for large companies with complex problems and needs. For me, as a small business, that's perfect since competitors like Bitrix24, Insightly and others are bloated with features presented in a bad UI with a bad user experience. Freedcamp offers the essential tools you need. It's easy to expand the functionality of Freedcamp via the built in marketplace with both free and paid addons. I really like, that I get the core project management part of Freedcamp, and can add whatever I need. That way I won't be overwhelmed with features and buttons I'll never use. However some of the addons are a bit too simple and not integrated well enough into the core product, which is a shame. There's a lot of potential for improvement by integrating addons and features more tightly. Despite the simple addons which lacks a bit of functionality, Freedcamp is by far the best project management tool for a small business or personal projects because of it's super simply interface and ease of use. I highly recommend Freedcamp. It's a great value product, especially compared to some of the alternatives. Customer support is spot on and it's pretty easy to get used to the software. Cons None really except I hate learning new software, but this was easy enough. I like to use GTD Get things done CRM and I like to be able to make actual phone calls from multiple tools like sips. Pros I love how the home dashboard shows a quick overview of the tasks, upcoming events, and updates. I can create multiple projects and within this I can view the calendar and the files. I can also create different task lists, set the priority of the task, and indicate progress. It is also very easy to learn and start using. Cons Creating subtask is a premium feature. I recommend taking a look at freedcamp. Pros The first thing that stands out about freedcamp is it's ease of use. There really isn't much of a learning curve with it. It has all the core features I need, and simplifies project tracking. Cons There are a few things that I wish I could do, such as tracking subtask on a calendar view and assigning due dates to subtasks. Difficulty to integrate with the Google Calendar - please contact us. If you meant pushing Google events to Freedcamp - it is not supported if Freedcamp to Google all paid plans have instant GSync which no other vendor offers. In that time, I've tried (or been forced to use) Basecamp, Trello Business Class, Wrike, Teamwork, Harvest, Jira, Feng Office and a smattering of other solutions. On DAY 1 of my trial with Freedcamp, I knew I was going to subscribe. Freedcamp had everything I needed to shift my business' workflow and get my team on the same page, in one platform, including encryped password storage, a wiki, bug tracker, integration with Google Drive, and Calendar... this app is a home run! Cons The mobile app should have the ability to track time and I would like to be able to assign tasks to Guest users so clients can have limited access to their project but still receive notifications of new tasks that they might need to act on.
