I have always like sage products especially for legal aspect tracking and when this was developed I loved how it linked with our other platforms.

Pros

Employee Mngmt and Payroll features, it added ease to my payroll process by tracking all past events

Cons

DOnt have any yet im still experiencing it and the features in full mode and hoopefully i get more pros then cons

Overall, Sage People felt like more of an administrative burden than a solution. Despite its extensive capabilities, everyday use is clunky and demanding. The time spent training, troubleshooting, and managing the system outweighs the benefits. For modern HR teams, there are far more user-friendly systems that accomplish the same goals without the frustration.

Pros

Sage People has extensive functionality and strong potential for organizations that need deep HR tracking, reporting, and global compliance. Once everything is configured properly, it can handle complex HR workflows and large-scale workforce needs.

Cons

The system is extremely difficult to learn, navigate, and customize. Even simple updates require multiple clicks and often feel buried in menus. Configuration is so technical that you almost need an in-house Sage expert to make ongoing changes. The interface is dated, slow, and unintuitive, and employees frequently struggle with basic tasks like requesting PTO or updating their information. Instead of supporting HR, it often slows processes down.

I have a great experience as it was easy to learn and the customer support was top notch whenever I experienced bugs and issues

Pros

I got value for money as it captured all my employees information, and it was easy to use and navigate different modules

Cons

Payroll, we could not use sage for payroll directly, we had to try manual process to get through the payroll process

My overall experience is that i dont like the application as it has too many bugs and issues which in turn slows things down

I like the ease of use and the value for my money. The pay roll is great too. When i use customer support they are very helpful

In short, Sage People is a good, scalable HR and talent management solution for mid-to-large size companies, especially those operating globally. It provides flexible workflows, solid analytics and integrated payroll capabilities with strong customer support. However, it may not be the right match for organizations needing advanced performance modules and highly intuitive UX.

Pros

It is very user-friendly and easy to adapt. It's customizable reports and workflows help simplify core HR functions like leave requests, performance reviews and recruitment. To the best of my knowledge, we haven't face any bug issue. Advanced features like pulse surveys, analytics for wellness and insights into employee energy levels help managers proactively detect burnout or disengagement. Excellent value for money and customer support is also really good.

Cons

Initial customization might seem a bit difficult, however once you start using it regularly, it would be much easier. There are limited options for formatting data and at times there are small issues with navigation.

Overall was a great experience and was in the system daily being the leader of HR. I ran reports, worked on analytics and other strategies surrounding staffing

Pros

It was easy to use for all modules that I worked in surrounding the HCM platform. Our company did leave Sage but please know that it wasn't b/c we wanted it to happen. We did not like Oracle and it was so broken.

Cons

That we could not keep the platform. It worked well with our site and our production teams. I was very impressed by the customer service along with the ability to use the system with ease.

Overall I think this software helped us acheive a more effiencient routine for our financial reports being able to create different reports for different data was unique. I would recommend for small to medium businesses.

Pros

This software was suitable for our team as we only have about 25-50 users. We felt this software was user friendly. It helped us to improve our client relations and streamline our internal processes.

Cons

Not many cons. Price is a factor if we grow our team to more users then this may not be in our budget. Faced some software glitches during peak business hours, reports taking longer to download/send etc. Integration of this software was typically, some learning curves the first 2 weeks but were ironed out with supports help.

It’s an all-in-one solution that covers everything from payroll to performance reviews, and it does make managing people a lot simpler. The dashboard is user-friendly, and the reporting features are pretty solid

Cons

I find the system can be a bit clunky at times. The integration with other software is not always as smooth as I’d like, which can create some friction when syncing data.
