Pros: User friendly! Tech support is so friendly and ready to help with any question or concern! The check in process is quick and easy along with the check outs!

Cons: I don't like how we cant look up rooms by just the room number. The refund process is tricky as well.

Overall: Its a great program to use in a fast pace business! It is user friendly and the support that comes along with it is unbeatable!

Pros: Easy to use & training new employees is not difficult at at all. Any time we have issues the
support team has been very easy to work with and always courteous when I ask the silliest questions.

Cons: There is one aspect that I would like to see added to system. Wondering if somehow we could
red flag difficult guests that we continually have issues with so that when they call again for another reservation we can immediately see that we have had issues with that particular guest and thus be prepared to deny a reservation or be alerted to possible issues at check in. Just an idea so that the front desk employees can alert management.

Overall: System is so easy to use, training is easy due to how everything is categorized.

Pros: Extremely accurate; detailed reports, folios and the different views, group master is very helpful to manage charges to groups!

Cons: There are a few features that I would like added such as moving payments within a Group Master folio that are incorrectly posted to an individual folio belonging to the group. I recently experienced a posting error that could not be moved to the group master folio. I was told by support that only charges could be re-routed but NOT THE PAYMENTS!

Overall: Better control of room inventory, rates, accurate reports.

New to industry I was trained by a skytouch representative. I found the program so easy to use!

Pros: The support was excellent and fast. They did not make you wait on hold and we're so nice and patient with me. I don't think I ever waited more than a few minutes for someone to get on the line and help me.

Cons: The down time for upgradea was sometimes inconvenient but overall it was a total positive experience working with skytouch. I can't say anything negative about this company to be honest. I have worked with several systems and this is the best one out there.

Overall: Learned how to maneuver reservations around to make it easier and more efficient way of checking people in and out.

Errors come up when making notes. Can't change reservations on certain rate plans.

Pros: It's sensible for reservation information input. It walks you through information you might forget to ask. But there are way more con's than pros. This is rediculous you have to write a minimum # of charachters.

Cons: Its disfunctional, many errors cause you to start a reservation over. You can't change a reservation from a 3-day rate plan to a 2 day even though you try to remove the plan that offers the discount. This survey is rediculous.

Tech support is always helpful and informative.

Pros: I like that I have access from any computer. Web access from home is the main thing I like about it. I also like the ability to make a correction in the guest folio even if they checked out several days or even months before mistake was found.

Cons: I don't like that you are not able to put a floor of rooms out of order at one time. I also don't like it when the computer defaults back to the current day of arrival if you are assigning rooms for a different date.

Overall: Ability to work from home or when out of town on business.

Love it!! Skytouch is very user friendly and has all of the functions needed to operate a front desk

Pros: Web based which is wonderful to be "at the hotel" all of the time. The system is so easy to train users on and so simple to understand.

Cons: The only thing I can think of is that you can't move a balance or a line of posting from one room to another.

Pros: It is easy to learn and has very helpful support team with online help. So your never left guessing.

Cons: I so not like the tape chart. I think it should be able to show all rooms at once without scrolling up and down.

Overall: A better knowledge of hotel management from housekeeping to maintenance and front desk

Pros: The best thing about the Skytouch HOS varies for me and my staff.

For me, it's the Tape Chart, the Community Board (love this communication tool!!!), and the Tech Support team. I also like the variety of ways to access different tools which serves different learning/brain abilities. My staff likes the information accessible in Future Availability, but I'd like the Tape Chart to provide the same information all in one place. It seems it would be easy to incorporate mlos, and room rate into the pop up box for a room.

Cons: If I could make only one big change in this software, it would be access to past information. In particular, the Tape Chart, one of the most valuable parts of the software is not visible for the "past." For my Front Desk Staff and Risk Management teams, this makes searching for guests, even in the most recent days, sometimes complicated and much more time consuming than it should be. In addition, I cannot get a "visual" on a time period that includes any past days at all. My previous software, and others that I am aware of, provided that visual tool and access to reservations. As an owner, CFO, and the visionary leader in my company that is a HUGE loss to me. Along the same lines, we cannot acquire statistics for more than a 3 month period either making the past difficult/complicated to access and visualize.

In addition, the need to delete cookies so often is frustrating to my staff, the Work Order reports are very limited when you need to keep track of rooms or areas in your building, and the Tape Chart pop up box should perform the same mlos, room rate and other info that the Future Availability does without having to go to two different places.

Overall: Logical, easy to use, Tech Support is fabulous!

Pros: The software is extremely user friendly and completely cloud based. I have the capability of managing rate changes and other features remotely compared to other software systems.

Cons: Some of the changes they make are better suited for other properties and it is not customizable. The team collects input for users over time and sometimes implement changes that do not necessarily apply to all users. As the user, we cannot opt out of the changes.

Overall: It allows flexibility by avoiding to have to physically be at the property to make changes.

It has been better in regards to our old program

Pros: It is awesome having the help on the desktop & also customer support. It is easier in a lot of ways than our previous program but there are a few things that I would like to see added or updated. Our company has sent in requests for them.

Cons: The front desk clerks are experiencing some trouble & there are a few things that take longer for them to do.

Overall: Updated & being cloud based.

Over all I find Skytouch very easy to use.

Pros: How easy it is to find information and navigate through the different tabs and finding guests information is easy

Cons: I don't like that you can't transfer funds from one account to another account with the guests same name.

A very easy to use and intuitive system. Perfect for smaller hotels without much complexity.

Pros: Easy for new users to learn, and very stable. Has all basic features you would need. Most information is readily available and well labeled. Customer support is very responsive (but follow up can lack).

Cons: Not very complex or flexible revenue management functionality. Certain processes can be time consuming if you need to do them several times in a row, but this is fairly rare. Rate overrides are a little difficult. More info could fit on one screen. While the simplicity is nice, having more info at one time would eliminate steps.

Overall: Ease of use for entry level staff. Reasonable Price. Flexible web-based system.

Pros: The accounting/bookkeeping reports with QuickBooks. The alerts and the ability to leave messages on the Community Board/opening log in.

Cons: Tape Chart not able to view past info. Inability to easily make a promo for a room block on line - involves upping to a ridiculous amount the regular bookings to block all but promo. Posting adjustments- inability to just void a recent transaction error. No Show - unable to reverse if necessary.

SkyTouch has been a huge upgrade compared to our previous pms system. They have a great IT team!

Pros: The software meets most of my needs and is easy to navigate without too much confusion. It rarely has issues and the technical support team is great to work with.

Cons: The thing I like the least is all the software updates its seems like we do them too often. I wish there were easier ways to do rooming list.

Overall the experience has been good. The fact that the program is web-based has been very useful!

Pros: I really enjoy that the program is web-based, as this allows me to work on the go. It's a very simple system to learn and teach to my staff.

Cons: I wish that the rate management system worked better. We experience quite a few errors with it. The main issue is with the timing of closing the property to arrivals and revenue changes. Sometimes these changes never hit the system...

I don't like the tier system...prefer to just enter whatever rate I want.

Pros: Ease of access, not overly complex. Glad that the rate system has an override function, but the default is set to just 100 days out...I should be able to override anytime in the future.

Cons: I don't like the rate tier system....prefer to just enter whatever rate I want. Plus the occupancy report does not include block revenue with rooms not picked up yet...completely throws off my ability to enter OTB revenue.

Overall: Ease of access

Service has been very helpful. Finding the work arounds for functions that are lacking.

Pros: Group check ins, printing group reg cards, group check outs, customer community, and community board.

Cons: The system feels like 1.0. It's a great start, but there are some features that need to be worked on. Group blocks are ineffecient to enter, adjustments to folios are tough to make or unable to make, no flexibility with charge routing, cumbersome with changing and duplicating reservations, unable to change market codes.

Its a pretty great system and the reps are always willing to help out anyway that they can

Pros: The ease of use, and ease to learn the system. I taught myself how to use it and I must say it was a breeze for my first time ever using a property management system!

Cons: the fact that sometimes it will stop performing normal functions or lock up and not give an explanation as to why I cant perform a certain function , and after problem solving I eventually figure out.

Overall: Ease of reserving and checking in and out guests

Pros: I worked audit last night for the first time since we switched systems and it literally took me 10 minutes to do everything it was great!

Cons: I'm still having issues with refunding, authorizing and splitting payments but that will come in time.

Overall: There are too many to count.

This was a huge upgrade from our prior Software.

Pros: I like the customization of Skytouch PMS. It's very simple to use compared to other Property Management Software. Running reports is simple. Customer support is pretty quick to get back when anyone has an issue.

Cons: The item I like least would be concerning any kind of adjustments after checkout. If you are needing to refund 20% back you must do multiple steps in order to adjust this off correctly, accurately and to the customers card.

Overall: overall positive experience with customer support. Set up was relatively easy.

It makes my life easier! The staff are comfortable using Sky Touch and I can logon from anywhere.

Pros: Customer service is exceptional always! It is easy to use, both daily operations and especially Rate Management. It is quick - it provides me with the information I need to do my job and stay on top of things. All departments can utilize Sky Touch and I can access the system from anywhere. It allows you to perform your duties in hospitality and still allow you to have a life outside of work in an industry that never closes.

Cons: The same thing that applies to all software - the "real time" factor when the property is reaching maximum occupancy. All properties have the same problem that reflects on the issue of being overbooked if the reservation lags on getting integrated to your system. The issue is with the industry and not the software.

Overall: Went from a property without a property management system to a property that went "why did I not have this sytem earlier!" Quicker access, more accurate information and data, happier staff, happier guests, more time to do other tasks and additional free time. In general less stress.

Pros: I like that the program is cloud based so I can log on from home or on the go. I appreciate the updates happen over night.

Cons: groups are unfriendly to work with, every week we have a different issue. lately we have had a lot of printing issues. customer support is sometimes not very good. Most of them have zero accounting knowledge. sometimes wait time for customer service is too long. Would like additional information on dashboard or in reports.

Overall: I did recommend this product to another property and they ended up selecting this product and they have had really bad trouble with it. Now I feel like an idiot.

Pros: The fact that this system is user friendly. We were originally using Sabre and their PMS system could not do what we needed it to do as we are a unique property here in Florence, AZ.

Cons: Probably at initial set up it didn't drop all our reservations into the SkyTouch system from Sabre system. A lot of manual inputting of reservations.

Overall: Easy to navigate through.

Pros: The way it looks and the way it is laid out. I love to be able to call support or chat with them at any time. I love that you can access it from your phone. It is very easy to make a reservation and see all available rooms and rates at once. Booking into a group block is extremely easy.

Cons: I work with a lot of groups and the program seems to not be highly group oriented. For example: group expected totals, each room transferring over at the end of the stay rather then per night, no group number totaling at the bottom when booking a room......

Overall: I can be more proficient and get more done in a day and easily book groups without having to look in multiple locations for availability and pricing.

Pros: It is very simple to use if you have never used another system, customer service is almost always FANTASTIC. You have some great people in place for helping and not making us feel dumb. Love being able to log on anywhere.

Cons: Wish there was an easier way to have packages and keep invetory count of rollaway beds and other misc. items. Same with meeting rooms.

Pros: Vary easy to learn, simple navagation and easy to price the property. Overall smooth PMS with nice features for smaller hotels without meeting space.

Cons: Limited package functions...i.e. limited ability to offer dynamic packages. Limited billing options for larger groups.

Customer Support is fast and friendly. Software was easy to learn.

Pros: Customer Support (Tech Support), Rate management is easy, and very easy to customize. Customer service was great through the whole set up process. Good training program.

Cons: Reports can generate slow (mornings usually). More expensive than our last property management system.

I have only ever used this program. I like it just fine.

Pros: I love the recent accounts option. The speed moving from page to page is generally pretty good. I love the home page with maps and weather pages.

Cons: I send email thank yous to all guests. The guest email should print out on the registration form instead of the drivers license.

Overall: It was easy to learn.

Pros: The look and feel is very app like. Everything is easy to find and does exactly what it says it will do, as mentioned in the hover function.

Cons: They are limitations in functionality - the ability to set up room moves would be nice, just as rate changes can be set up. On the reports it would be nice to see the selected filters at the heading of the reports when printed.

Cons: Customer service / tech support takes a long time to get back to you.
The group "Reservations" tab has changed within the past year - I liked the old layout better for Group Masters.

Overall: Remote access, ease of HOS use, easy compatibility with Channel Manager / SiteMinder, purchase and tech support.

Pros: user friendly and love the reports....as I mentioned I have been using skytouch for many many years..

Cons: slow.....many times it is slow when the hotel is busy the system seems to take longer to generate and check people in

Pros: The accessibility and the easy to understand and find what you need to do. All the reports you have available.

Cons: Nothing with the software. My problem is with the tech support. It seems like every time you call they can't really help you. They have to put it to higher tech and it seems like things take a while to get fixed
