Pros

Skedda offers and easy to use and easy to understand platform that allows for office space booking and scheduling to be streamlined and used by multiple people.

Cons

There is nothing I really dislike about Skedda. I would admit I have used it mainly just to schedule/book conference rooms and have not delved into much else. For the basic functions I have used it for it is a very reliable platform.

It has been great - no major issues. I wish we could use it for visitor management at our location in addition to specific room reservations and not have to pay an additional $99/month.

Pros

The LOLA loves Skedda! It's simple to use and to book a meeting room in our beautiful coworking space.

Cons

We would like 10 rooms included in the AllBooked Core subscription. We also wish that you could see the conflicts when booking before you add all the details to your room booking.

Very very happy with skedda. It's easy and friendly to use, very quick and inexpensive. It has met our expectations for the organization very well and is easily managed by our IS team.

Pros

Skedda is very easy to use, able to update rooms very quickly, change names of the rooms, can identify both rooms, offices and workstations as well as offsite locations. Very easy as it's connect with Single Sign on and its own APP.

Cons

The only item I'm not a fan about skedda is the outlook integration. If you think your approving you booking you accept the calendar integration and then it books the full time in your calendar. Just an odd item.

I think it is a decent application to use, especially if you are limited by your work organization on what you can use for scheduling. It gets the job done and does exactly what is advertised.

Pros

The ability to customize each field and cater the application to your needs. It allows people to use Skedda in many different manners - from office planning to truck bay organization

Cons

I don't find it as user friendly as other apps, however I know people who prefer it. I think it's personal preference and aesthetics.

Pros

Skedda has been an extremely valuable addition to our suite of tech products for reserving office spaces without any difficulties. It offers some great integrations with Outlook and Teams to make it easy for staff to use, and has cool features like an interactive floorplan for all offices.

Cons

I'm currently very happy with the product; they made some significant improvements this year that have addressed our previous concerns.

Pros

Very easy to use, the floor layouts are simple and detailed enough to understand where exactly I'm looking to book a room or workspace. I appreciate the single sign-on feature with Google as well.

Cons

Nothing I dislike at the moment, it works as intended and that's all I need! Some of the views are a little too much info, but that's what I like about the different view options.

Overall, our center is having a positive experience. As we learn how to use this more we are seeing that it is saving us time and headaches. \*Another recommendation that would be useful is to have more ways to send out automatic replies to users. For example, it would be great to have the ability to send out automatic reminders 24 hours in advance to our student users about their event. Being able to attach files to that automatic reminder would also be a boon.

Pros

1\. I like that our faculty find it easy to book. I had to do a little training with them on how to book multiple rooms at one time as they were selecting each room separately and were complaining about having to put times/dates/materials needed in over and over again. With that little bit of training they are now quite happy with how easy it is to use. 2. SSO has also been a success, although it did take a while for our IT team to get this up and running. We also like that you can choose certain "views" if you want to see if a certain space is available on the calendar you simply create a "view" for that space and it becomes a filter. Faculty have responded positively to having a graphical representation of the center. It helps them see the space visually. 3. Great options for customization on tag colors, booking conditions, access conditions, tags, and space details that can include adding pictures of your spaces.

Cons

1\. What I least like about Skedda is how it's scheduling data is formatted when you copy the feed link for use on an external calendar. It works great for individuals but not for administrators. I use this feed link with my digital sign that is in our center hallway. When you copy the feed link from the integrations tab it does not give you any options on what data is going to be shown. This link shows data that I do not want the public to see, specifically the users name who booked it. That should stay internally. I wish i had the option to not include that information. Skedda does do this on an individual level but not on a administrative level. At least not that I can see. 2. It also won't display (on the digital sign from the feed link) multiple rooms unless they are separate events. For example, I have an event going on that is using multiple rooms at once. If I create a single booking with multiple room selection, the feed link that the digital signs sees will display the event name, the first room number, and the + other. It won't show all of the room numbers unless you make an event for each room. That becomes tedious and time consuming. 3. There also isn't a "Today" button when viewing the schedule to make it easy to get back to the day's date. 4. When viewing the schedule in "List" mode, you cannot increase/decrease the size of the columns. This would be helpful to have when you want to increase the size of a column to see the entirety of the booking. 5. The tag system is helpful but it's a little clunky for initial use. For example, I have our scheduling system to only allow people with tags to book. Once they are in the system and tagged it works great. But this means that I will have some managing to do with my new users as they will be signing on using SSO and when they do that they initially will not have a tag, which means that can't book until i give them one. It's fine if it's only a few people but it becomes problematic with hundreds.

We managed to use Skedda to solve the room booking system as an alternative to what was the process which was booking through excel which was inefficient. My experience with Skedda has been made so easy through the help of their staff which I feel all deserve lots of credit. I mainly spoke to two people called \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and they were both excellent. They answered any questions I had and there were quite a few as I wanted it to operate as perfectly as it could and they did so with no qualms. Always so professional and great to receive help from so I wanted to add how great they were!

Pros

The features on the software were incredibly easy to navigate for both the individual setting the framework up and also the Users and there hasn't been much difficulty aside from asking a few questions to staff to see how much we can do with the features. Through the help of staff I have been able to efficiently utilise the software in such a way that it functions without much attention which is great as it has actually increased productivity by not diverting my time away from my role to look after the software and making sure it runs correctly. If I were to pick one thing I liked most about the software it would definitely be how user friendly it is. I love the fact that people can join and although we do offer the opportunity to discuss how to use it through messages it isn't really needed as it is so easy to get on with!

Cons

The only con I can think of was when trying to navigate the payment process feature. The way it is set up through the order method of 'if this' or 'when this is met' was fairly hard to utilise exactly how I needed it. However, there are always alternatives for example I simply export the usage to an excel sheet and manually invoice which doesn't take much time and works great so It did not make me have an issue with the software at all!

Reason for choosing Skedda

After looking through about 15/20 companies and their software I realised that the free trial that Skedda offered allowed me to get a real taste for what it could do and when I saw the price I thought it was just perfect. I showed my Boss and the same day it was being implemented so it was just clearly the best option.

### "Can you use Skedda in a Performing Arts Venue such as a Theatre? "

We need a system that could just make bookings and we have that in Skedda with the potential to do so much more when we are ready to expand further into the system.

Pros

Sometimes in Theatre, we overthink what we need of a booking/scheduling system, I could list out everything after operating most types of facilities over the last 20 years but why, it's all here within Skedda. Ok, it may not all be in Skedda yet, but the bits we really need every day are. The simplicity in Skedda design is an art form in itself and this is what I can not fault and love.

Cons

We need to spend more time to find the Cons of Skedda, and in 2022 we are planning to work it to the point we find all the Cons, if any, and we will be back to let you know what we find!

Reason for choosing Skedda

We chose Skedda because we were looking for a system that a) could do the job, and b) was designed coding-wise on modern system architecture. Plus the Team at Skedda have been more than supportive of our business when we needed it the most.

Streamlined booking for our village hall has enabled us to maximise usage. Using the data extracts to generate invoices has saved at least a day's labour per month with increased accuracy and instant financial reporting.

Pros

Instant tailored booking and scheduling are the core strengths of Skedda. Customer details are easily accessible and data extracts are complete enabling reporting, invoicing and many other data reports to be easily tailored.

Cons

The only shortfall for me is the inability to store addresses against individual customers. They can be stored on bookings but moving them to the customer record would be perfect!

Reason for choosing Skedda

I played with 3 or 4 other systems but they were either full of bugs, far too expensive or just didn't do the job.

### "Skedda is a life-saver!"

We use Skedda to manage reservations in about 60 rooms in our building, and it replaces a very old limited clunky system. Skedda really saved us from having to rely on that awful system, or on a series of Outlook calendars, and it has saved us from a system where one person did all the work, and only one person knew what was available when. It's the exact right solution, it adds transparency to the process, and allows several colleagues to help themselves within limits. We use it all the time! 1600 reservations by 40+ users in the last 3 months!

Pros

It's easy, yet complex!! It's very easy for my colleagues to use with minimal or no training (Skedda is super easy for them to figure out on their own), and it has the complex/nuanced admin settings that we need in order to limit certain rooms and users to meet a variety of needs. It has truly been a life-saver for our entire community, and we often use it as our gold-standard example when we're discussing "the exact right solution for the problem" (as opposed to other problems where we have an inelegant incomplete solution). Thank you for being awesome!

Cons

It would be helpful if it were easier to see a list of rooms that are available on a given date/time, and it would be helpful if we could add the option to include set-up and break-down time to a reservation. We currently add set-up and break-down time as separate reservations, so for our events that require this, each reservation is actually 3 entries (set-up, event, break-down).

Pleased to find a way to easily schedule all meeting and conference rooms in our many locations and able to either provide use for free or assign a charge for the space, based on the co-share client's rental rate and contracts. So much better than paper signs taped to doors or paper calendars, etc.

Simple to use for anyone and easily see what's available at a glance. You can set up recurring reservations out as far as you wish.

Cons

Can't really find anything that doesn't work as we need. It's been easy and cost effective for our organization

### "Cricket Club Net Booking System"

Fantastic!

Pros

We can create a number of different user types using the "tags" system to allow parents and juniors artificial net opportunities and senior players nets in the middle. Recurring bookings are used for club training nights. We can limit the number of nets a user can book and the levels of flexibility to support our head coach with his personal 1:1s makes this a vital club tool. The ability to remove billing details over the winter and the platform sit dormant (with all the setup remaining intact) is hugely advantageous for us.

Cons

The unique link that is sent for registration carries the user "tags". If a member chooses to use that link in the future to book this removes those tags. We have got around this by providing "first registration" and "ongoing" booking instructions but it has caused inbound queries from members. As a volunteer-led organisation these types of chats would be great to avoid to save people's time.

### "Booking system that works"

Pros

We started using the free version of Skedda 3 years ago as a booking system for open outdoor beach volleyball courts in 4 different places. What we liked about Skedda was that it was really easy for new members to sign up and they could reserve court right away. It was also super easy to work with as an admin, setting up the venues and time slots, and even see how many booked over the year, and all this was in the free version. So when we needed scheduling system for our business (indoor beach volleyball courts for customers to rent) there was no question that we took the business version of Skedda for our company.

Cons

Unfortunately Stripe which is the payment partner of Skedda does not offers service in our country, so we can not use the payment feature.

Pros

The ease of use the most feature I like informal. adding to that, the informal tone of the used language in the app is something new and was very nice to see.

Cons

being able to create casual accounts. This caused lose of control for us, people were forgetting their account password and thy would not reset the password, instead they just created a casual account. creating casual account was more convenient than resetting the password.

### "Local Tennis Club Benefits from New Booking System"

Apart from a few fixed times for social tennis and coaching the club had previously not required bookings to use the courts. After lockdown from COVID in 2020 the tennis club realised it needed a court booking system for the first time.

Pros

Skedda was surprisingly straightforward to set up and integrate within out club website. Was particularly pleased that the free version offered enough functionality to get us up and running. After a few months we subscribed to the payment processing system via Stripe integration and that has made visitor fee collection so much more efficient.

Cons

Can't actually think of anything I find annoying about Skedda

Reason for choosing Skedda

Clubspark was considered as it came as part of free LTA Web site package for tennis clubs. However, after registering to use the software though not implementing it - noticed ongoing references to performance issues - problems with new versions etc. Decided to go it alone - build website using Google and then integrated Skedda (following recommendation from a member that had used elsewhere).

It makes my life as an Operations director much easier because of its combination of features, ease of use, and incredible customizability. It pains me to think that that companies as innovative as Skedda might be getting hurt by the WFH trend which is minimizing the need for booking software such as theirs. They really have an incredibly talented team.

Pros

Visually stunning, chock full of customizable features yet still ease to navigate, and incredible customer support. Whatever I thought I needed they've dreamt up an elegant solution for.

Cons

Just the lack of two-way sync with Google Calendars 'Rooms' feature.

### "Skedda Provides Easy Reservation Options"

We don't get marketed to every second. They created a really useful way to take care of space reservations, and our students/artists can do it easily without a lot of hassle.

Pros

I love that there ways to set up multiple spaces for reservations, the easy link sharing, the ability for users to communicate directly with the system. And that there is a free account option - I don't think we'd be able to afford paying for a service at this time. And this makes it very easy to manage our space - especially when we don't charge for usage.

Cons

So far, I haven't found anything to complain about! It does what it says it will do, and if there are issues, it is easy to get help and support.

This saves us a lot of time in handling room bookings and allows registered users to manage their own bookings when it is convenient to them.

Pros

I love that this simplifies and standardises our room booking processes. It is also great that registered users can make their own bookings. Payment is simplified.

Cons

I would like more of a sliding scale for subscribing once the 5 space limit has been used: rather than it jumping up suddenly to a full subscription it would be good to have a lower cost option when you are only moving from 5 to 6 spaces. I would also like to be able to send receipts for payments directly from Skedda.

Checking in when they knew we were launching the system, on hand to help with any problems / when things needed explaining to me, helping us make the most of what Skedda had to offer in order to meet our needs AND help with that to work with our budget... Brilliant, lovely customer service! AND a useful, practical product!

Pros

The rules that could be changed down to very specific details to really make the system work according to our own (very particular!) needs. The User Tags / Labels come in very useful! As do the way members can sign up, admins can also do bookings for members (or to block out spaces if they are unavailable for any reason)... It is easy to integrate into our website and to set up online payments. Compared to lots of other options I looked into, Skedda ticks the most boxes for what we needed!

Cons

I suppose the way 'spaces' work, but this is something we were still able to work around, with thanks to the great support from the Skedda team. We would like for there to be an option for a member to book 1 space and pay a different price depending on the booking is for 1 person, or up to 4 people... (But this hasn't been an easy thing to set up with any other booking system unless it's a bespoke booking system built especially... but that's far beyond our budget).

### "Skedda for Small Holistic Centre"

The therapy centre has been using a paper room booking diary for the past 20 years. Skedda will make life so much easier. It means we can be much more responsive to clients wanting to book treatments and therefore appear more professional, and mean that we have to rely less on colleagues to make bookings on our behalf if we are not in the Centre. It might seem like a little thing, but for me it will be quite life-changing! As the person responsible for setting Skedda up, I have been genuinely blown away by the customer support, even for the free version. I have had numerous queries (some fundamental, some less so), all of which have been answered - if not immediately - within an hour or so (even on a Saturday). The excellent support is probably the biggest reason why I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Skedda to others, and why I feel confident now sharing it with my colleagues.

Pros

Skedda provides my small organisation of self-employed therapists with a really clear, straightforward and user-friendly alternative to the paper room booking diary system that has been in use for the past 20 years. We don't need anything fancy, or special features, and the free version is perfect for our needs. The fact that it looks very similar to our regular diary, and the ease of use, has also made it easier to persuade colleagues who were less certain about making the switch.

Cons

The only issue that I have found so far, is that regular 'users' cannot see WHO has booked rooms, just that they have been booked. In a small organisation such as ours, we sometimes need to swap treatment rooms for accessibility reasons etc, and this would have been a useful feature. It is a minor gripe, however.

Reason for choosing Skedda

I looked at many other products before choosing Skedda. It was the one product that entirely met our needs as an organisation, and the fact that we can use it free of charge has made it much easier to persuade colleagues to try it.

Implementing the system has allowed a large proportion of my teams work to be transferred to a self selection system on line, giving them time to concentrate on higher priorities. The help desk is quick and friendly when needed.

Pros

We wanted a simple to use 'private' booking system for hospital departments to reserve rooms for on call staff. Skedda was quick and easy to set up and the interface intuitive for staff to use without training.

Cons

Recent updates have resolved most of the early snagging points.
