Club Captain Sports Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Created safety for our Tennis club during the Covid Pandemic" January 3, 2022 5.0 We were a rather unstructured tennis club but when the Covid pandemic hit we had to start controlling access to our courts to ensure there weren't people hanging around waiting to play. I searched for a cost-effective solution for an online booking system and came across Skedda. The free usage option was great because it allowed me to freely test the system without having to pay. Items that require payment are highlighted making it a transparent system. I set up the conditions and parameters for our club in an hour or two and find it easy to make tweaks and adjustments. It is also great for collecting data on the usage of our courts. I am very happy that I found this option for our online booking system. Pros It was relatively easy to set up and our tennis club members (who are not very tech-savvy) have easily adopted the new system and enjoy using it. Cons Based on how we are using the software I have not experienced any cons. I think the software is great. " January 26, 2022 5.0 Pros The ease of set up and the ease of use on a daily basis Cons Nothing is missing. I would like to see better timings for free users. I only have 5 spaces to manage and I'm not going to pay for more just to get the timings more accurate. Skedda has helped us optimize the process of managing our spaces plus the product can be configured and deployed easily. I would definitely recommend this product! Pros The product is straightforward, easy to use out of the box. It has the features that you need if you will manage 2-3 rooms only. Cons The basic features are good enough to manage the day-to-day booking management. I would suggest if you could allow the free users to see who has booked the rooms. March 1, 2017 5.0 We use the free version of Skedda to control access to our three counselling rooms in our not-for-profit organisation. It is used by about 30 quite mature and technically challenged personnel who have had very few problems with the simple interface. It did most of what we wanted from day one but Skedda have responded to requests for changes and it now fits all our needs. It has always been reliable and glitch-free and is quite a flexible well thought-out platform. I've been particularly impressed by their helpful and fast response to our enquiries, especially since we are not fee paying customers! Pros Reliable, simple interface, but flexible set-up. Perfect support. Has to be the best out there. A very good free service. Cons Free or expensive pricing structure. We'd happily pay if there was a low tier pricing step. Review Source SP Scott P. December 19, 2021 5.0 I've used skedda to manage a shared allied health clinic with dozens of casual users without a hitch for years. None of them have an issue with managing their own bookings and it makes it very easy to keep track of who is using all the rooms at any given time. Pros Simple to use, even for tech-dummies, never skips a beat and well priced. Cons The only thing I'd like to see is a current time indicator on the day view. That's my only criticism. Pros What we like most about Skedda is our workers has the ability to schedule a room with having to call admiration office to book a room. This lets the admin office have more time to attend to office work in stead of booking rooms all day. Also we love the feature with the picture of the room you are booking. This software is really one of the best thing that has happen to our facility. I have introduced Skedda to all my friends with facilities like ours. Our building is a Strata property with 138 units and about 250 residents. We used Skedda to manage booking into our gym and fitness area. This allowed people to see what days/times were open, reserve their slot, and work out privately and avoid the Covid virus. Very positive response from users. Pros Skedda made it easy for us to eliminate a paper booking system for our gymnasium. This was very important during the pandemic. Cons I cannot think of anything that was negative. Our company has been able to save costs and be even more organized with this application. Pros With Skedda we are able to do the following: - Automate our room bookings. no need for a personal assistant or receptionist. - Increases visibility. Since this is all online, nobody can make the excuse that they booked the room versus the other person. Cons The following are what I like the least/needs improvement: - Skedda could integrate with calendars or with mobile technology. For example, I could be texted if I had an upcoming meeting. Cons It relies on using Stripe for bookings payment. Stipe works well, but we did have some problems authorising our account, especially after they blocked it when it wasn't used for a period during lockdown. October 25, 2017 5.0 We were in a quandary because our local method of scheduling labs experienced a fatal blow. Now we don't have to worry because Skedda takes care of everything. Users are happy, I, as the administrator, am happy and the administration is happy because everything runs so smoothly. Also I love the fact that you can have multiple administrators--that means someone in the office can be a back-up administrator as well as someone in technology support. FANTASTIC Product! Pros We use Skedda to schedule our computer labs. The ease with which users can schedule their lab times is unparalleled. They can extend the times if they are going to be in there for more than one period. They can repeat the schedule with the click of a button if they are going to be going for multiple days. It's fast and easy--what could be better than that??? Cons Regular trusted users can't delete their own reservations if they change their minds about the schedule. But it's really not a big deal for me to go in and delete their reservation. I just think that they would like that flexibility because sometimes plans change. Skedda was not the worst of the bunch. The UI seems dated and not very well developed. I wish the integration came native (not having to go through Zapier). Pros Pricing does not differentiate between "rooms" or "desks" -- just total number of assets. Some other competitors have different pricing tiers depending on the type. The web UI is pretty easy to navigate. If you can use Outlook calendar (or something similar), your users should have no issues. There appears to be a mobile app supporting both IOS and Android Cons Pricing is a little cryptic when you want to see "premium" pricing. The integrations with other apps (such as O365, etc.) comes with an added cost of $19 per month. May 9, 2018 4.0 We have a very simple way in our office now to manage spaces such as training room and meeting rooms. Pros I have been using it in my office building to manage spaces, and it has been a great solution to bring order to all teams, it is very easy to use for the users to make reservations, and it also is very easy for admins. It even manage payments from customers who want to rent your spaces from 30 minutes up to several hours or days. Super simple to use, does what it says on the tin. Cons I think there should be some sort of alert to ask you if you still need your seat 24 hours before your booking.
