Overall, my experience with Skedda to-date has been really good.

Pros

Having the app that allows schedulers to reserve/cancel space as needed.

Cons

I would like to be able to pull monthly reports by user that show total amounts (reserved, paid, balance)

Skedda had tiers that allowed me to begin with a free trial and add as my practice needs grew.

### "Super Skedda"

I judge this two ways. 1. There have been no booking errors - it has worked flawlessly. 2. Smooth Roll Out - out of 80 club members only 3 had set up problems and they were all user problems.

Pros

Along with many other sports clubs the Covid-19 Pandemic forced us to change from whiteboard/paper based booking systems to electronic booking systems. Bearing in mind, (a) the number of software/hardware levels and variations of individual club members computing equipment, and (b) the varying levels of IT literacy. We needed a simple to operate stand alone web based system and that was SKEDDA, it has worked like a dream and is within everybody's grasp.

Cons

There is nothing, Skedda meets all our requirements .

I have time to work on other things instead of trying to track bookings and charges.

Pros

It is soo easy for us as administrators and our users to know what is booked and how much the user will be charged. Skedda is very convenient and user friendly.

Cons

I have not found anything I dislike. Anytime I ask about I feature the support team quickly teaches me how to do it.

Great interface, drop dead simple to use.

Pros

Wow this thing is easy to use- login in and BAM you're in business. Our whole team uses it, and is WAY better than using google sheets, like our old system!

Cons

Waiting for an official iphone app, although the web version on my mobile browser works pretty good as well.

Pros

This software is very user friendly. Our clients don't have to wait for a response from me to book a room, instead they can easily book themselves, cutting out any wait time.

Cons

No Cons with it at all, I've enjoyed how much time this software has saved me.

Reason for choosing Skedda

I can't recall the name of the other product, but it required getting a small screen device outside of every conference room. I like that this eliminates having to physically show up to book the rooms.

We use this software every minute of the day. We have a large conference center at our HQ that requires complex scheduling, multiple rooms and users. We tried out many scheduling applications and this one by far exceeded any others out there in functionality, ease of use and support! Our team can check schedules from anywhere, it is responsive on mobile and the user experience is unmatched!

Pros

Has all functionality we require to run large conference center booking system Intuitive and Easy to Use Customer Service is the Best of Any Application or Software I have ever used

I love the ability to set the time limits and customizing the schedule to fit our school schedule. It's free!!

Cons

I wish there was a way to set up for multiple administrators to be able to receive notification emails.

Pros

The software is very easy to use! It is easy to get going and to navigate in. It is great for the price. The customer support is also wonderful. They have always been extremely polite and helpful when we have had questions.

Cons

It doesn't have all the functions that the expensive software out there has but it also doesn't have the expensive price tag! It has everything you really need without all the unnecessary functions you never use anyway.

Pros

its very easy to setup and invite users, it took me about 10minutes

Cons

there are no profile personalization for sub-admin por example, once you setup a time and need to change it because of an error, an admin will have to change it, those are also the users that setup general configurations and blockings, so if you delegate the task, those people can modify your settings

We were required at the outset of the pandemic to reserve our rinks for daily use which we had never had to do before and we needed to control the use and the numbers of users. Skedda made that possible so that we could be open.

Pros

We needed something easy for a population of older folks to be able to use and Skedda was perfect for that.

Cons

Would have loved to be able to send messages to registered users through Skedda. Example is what SignUp Genius can do.

As a small charitable, not for profit organisation, without funding from government bodies, we rely solely on fundraising to provide our service. The free option available as a Skedda user is invaluable to us. It has saved us time and more importantly money in having a bespoke system devised.

Pros

Not complicated to use with sufficient, easy to read help pages. Clear to interpret quickly and makes invoicing a far speedier process

Cons

Would like a search option when booking a regular space. Currently, the whole booking has to be entered before you are made aware if there are any future bookings preventing you from using the same room at the same time ongoing.

Using Skedda avoids human error in the booking process, and prevents double booking of a room. Some of our therapists are casual; they can log into Skedda and make the booking in real time while on the phone to a potential client.

Pros

The free version provides all the booking functionality that I need.

Cons

There isn't anything really. (In the free version, users can't edit existing bookings, but presumeably this is a safety feature so that they can't remove or change a booking fraudulently.)

Pros

Our office is a hot desking sort of office, so this tool allows us to book a seat and know we've got someone to go when we get into the office. Super simple to use, does what it says on the tin.

Cons

I think there should be some sort of alert to ask you if you still need your seat 24 hours before your booking. This would just discourage no-shows that result in an empty office even though it's 'fully booked'.

Pros

Using the free version is great for our purposes as we are a cash-strapped school. It allows my colleagues to book our facilities easily and we can monitor their use of the facilities in question.

Cons

Only Admin members can see details of who has booked the facilities. It would be great if all users could see the details as that would allow them to negotiate directly over conflicts of interests.

Room organization. Saves time. Anyone can book a room w/o trying to find the clipboard.

Pros

We like the simplicity of everything. Multiple people can book rooms w/o double booking. We are a county prison w/ limited resources, so this was perfect for us. We're open 24/7, so anyone can book a room. As most jails, we didn't have a lot of technology, so we had one clip board that got passed around when needing to book a classroom. If I answered the phone, I needed to transfer the call or run to the other side of the jail to get the clipboard. This has made things much faster and effective. We're a small county w/ limited funds, so the free service was also attractive to us.

Cons

I know some people had issues resetting their password when they forgot it. I also wish that when you needed to discontinue a series, it would delete it from the date you picked forward. I believe now, it deletes everything prior too.

Skedda has helped so much since starting to share workspaces, everyone just schedules themselves on the Skedda page and I have it linked in our MS Teams channel so easy for everyone to use and access.

Cons

Nothing as of now, it is great and really streamlined our office scheduling.

### "Community centre crisis!"

Pros

It's free and looked much more user-friendly than Bookeo.

Cons

I couldn't set up the 3 basic timeslots we needed - am, pm and evening for different time periods 5 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours. Whatever conditions I set I couldn't get them to appear. It would just let me book any old time length slot. We also have a complicated pricing structure with different slots costing different amounts on different days. This wouldn't feed through either. Also when I fed the app through onto our Squarespace site it wasn't clear to users what they had to do. They wouldn't know how to drag the space without a tutorial. The calendar didn't look clear either, it was too big. Also, we have a 24 hour booking slot for the hall and this couldn't be set up either. It just wasn't intuitive. And I couldn't find any help function for the areas I needed. The YouTube video focussed on the easy bits.

Bookers would often change their minds about days and times and I found I was wasting an hour a day changing bookings and negotiating dates and times to get everyone in!

Pros

Easy to use, paired up with our website for users and potential users to see the rooms available. we have only 5 rooms to rent so we are able to use this with no cost to our charity.

Cons

nothing at all - it is really good and has been a real joy to use

Every teacher and district person can use the system and see what is available and when. Our technology is never double booked and I can see who used the space last if there is a problem. As a centrally located school, we are a building that never sleeps. Skedda has made scheduling 4 computer labs and 8 computer carts a breeze. Having a free site do this is amazing.
