I didn’t like that the admin has to pay $10 just for managing the accounts and timesheet of his employees. I pay $10 per number of employees. And then extra $10 just for managing them. I don’t like to pay extra $10 just for managing them

Easy to use. Does not require much from the user, simply enabling it at the start of your shift.

Cons

For what we used it for, and being a smaller sized company I dont think we utilized all of the bells and whistles the software offered (end user issue not software related)

### "One stop Solution of Time Tracking"

I use Hubstaff to track the daily activities of my team, monitor if everything is on the right track, determine reports for the production, tracking billing hours at ease and overall payroll management

Pros

The extensive analysis of each tasks and gives a very transparent picture of the production. Gives accurate information and cannot be mishandled.

Cons

Integration with few API's of the organization went quite difficult but with the proper support, it was completed.

Pros

Hubstaff is a great tool to track down your team and ensure that team is productive in-spite of working in distributed environment. It is not always necessary to closely monitor the people working for you, however sometimes it is unavoidable. Hubstaff gives a great way to feel satisfied that team is working on the right task & that too with good productivity. Way to capture screen shots & track down activities are good. Best way is to customize how many screen captures you want, & what all needs to be tracked. It is great to use this tool on various platforms & track all very well.

Cons

I liked the previous theme better, though new look is good too. In desktop version, sometimes I feeling async in time tracking vs web version, but all in all it is good.

Overall experience with Hubstaff is awesome and really loved this software. If you want to track the time please use this software without any hesitation. I used this software and very happy to suggest you to use this software at least once.

Pros

Hubstaff is very good software for the time tracking and I really love to use this software. The most like about this software is that time accuracy and track the employee work easily and very helpful and this software taking 3 screenshot each 10 min this is best part because it's easy to know what is going on project.

Cons

I'm using Hubstaff in daily work and I'm suggesting to please provide the screenshot delete option at that screenshot capture. It's very easy to delete screenshot. Other then this all good.

It is a great service for time and productivity tracking. For some, it may seem a little intrusive and micro-managing, but you have the options to utilize whatever functions are needed to ensure productivity at your particular organization. It has made project tracking much more accurate for us vs self reporting.

Pros

Hubstaff works really well in helping us track time on projects and helping us to allocate resources accordingly. There are lots of features that we use because having employees manually report at the end of each week what projects they worked on was just not working out (many people just copied the same entries week after week). The project tracking that Hubstaff offers is much more accurate than self reporting, and is minimally intrusive to employees. We were able to see when employees were on site and when they were remote, which is a great advantage during the pandemic.

Cons

I think the fact that there is a lot of features makes it so that occasionally one feature can be buggy and throw off the counts that we rely on for accurate metrics. It never is a huge issue (usually missed counts resulting in an employee's project time not being counted accurately) and is resolved quickly, but it does mean we occasionally have to check to make sure everything looks reasonable. However, these are never major disruptions and we are usually able to resolve ourselves.

It is a great tool for time logging. However the user interface is really really hard to navigate. Although the color and button scheme is quite modern, the overall travel on the dashboard is quite hard. It is really awesome if you are managing freelancer, remote workers or contract employees. It brings such a transparency for the entrepreneur so everyone is in loop, client and employees.

Pros

Great tool for Managing team and time logs. We can now measure our time and especially measure the time of remote workers. Its also great if I have to give reports to clients. So client dont ask much regarding the efforts that has been put by the agency. Reports and time log is really awesome. My friends use the feature of paying the freelancers or contract employees via Hubstaff and recommends it to be great, however I have never used that feature.

Cons

Quite expensive for a small team. User Interface is extremely confusing. If a new user joins Hubstaff to check reports, it is one of the hardest part for them. Support is quite poor too. You message them today and they will reply you next day. Although they have attached a chat bot in the dashboard, but no one replies.

However, please keep in mind that we are in the process of releasing Hubstaff Insights, which is a paid add-on for Hubstaff, that offers analysis of various different reports together, using parameters set up by the organisation that utilises this add on. Hubstaff has been our preferred platform to track all of our employee hours and tasks for a very long time, and we are extremely happy with the results in helping us organize our work flow and management. We have been able to realize the ease in a long standing promise of transparency to our customers by sending frequent, detailed reports on the hours of developers on client projects.

Pros

We especially love about hubstaff is the newly released "Hubstaff Tasks" function which allows us to track the task along with the time taken for each user. As a software company that prides itself in transparency, our clients truly appreciate seeing how their money is spent, and Hubstaff offers them the perfect easily-exported PDF files.

Cons

Rather than what we like least, we recognize that each platform is a growing and developing business, and Hubstaff has show us that they are constantly improving to meet customer needs. To this extend I would love to see these improvements in the next major update: 1) To be able to connect one-single project to multiple integrations at a time, for example to Hubstaff Tasks as well as Quickbooks. 2) To be able to upgrade a single user or owner to a higher plan, so as to take advantage of the higher tier benefits. 3) To be able to edit Immutable times from external integrations, in the case of Human error in selecting projects or Tasks.

Pros

I think the most valuable pro is to the person or company how you're working for, it gives you so much information about what the people is doing, the activity rates, etc. The time tracking is accuarated to the time you've been working. And it doesn't consume any of the PC resources at all. You can have anywhere you are working, the phone, the PC. Even without having the app.

Cons

Casually I recently had a problem, my computer didn't updated to the summer so the hubstaff became a little crazy. The fact is that the customer support haven't help me at all, the reply the emails late, of telling my things like "you don't have access to internet". I think thats a way to improve the service, have better qualified people answering the customer issues. Other thing is that one day a person replys you and 4 hours later another completly different. that makes me think I'm dealing with bots.

Hubstaff is a great tool to manage your remote employees.

Pros

Hubstaff is a great tool to manage your team of freelancers wherever they may be. It allows the team members to track their work progress. The screenshot and work progress tracking function allows the team manager to review how efficient and effective they are in doing their work. Their Payroll feature is awesome too in managing the salary payment of all the team members.

Cons

I believe they can add an instant messaging tool so everyone can message each other while using the time tracking tool.

Pros

I liked the reports the most, but it would also be great to add notes as well.

Cons

Sometimes there is a lag between the time on the app and desktop, but it's otherwise very good.

Pros

It has revolutioned the way that we manage our employees. It's amazing to be able to see granularly what they are doing so we can manage them more effectively and have them use their time more productively. Employees waste time, let's face it with Facebook, cell phones, lots of other stuff is distracting them and wasting you the owner ofyour companies time, give them an inch, they will take a mile. Let's keep honest people honest and let them know from the beginning, if they are here to work, they are here to work and not to waste any time!

Cons

None really, I love it. It has met and exceeded all of my expectations.

I used Hubstaff to manage the remote teams at a different place now. It's beyond time tracking solution because with Hubstaff I'm able to track the task, progress, and expenses for every project and also scheduling the next project for my team. There are so many features that make my project run smoothly without a problem.

There are many great features that Hubstaff provided but sometimes make me confused or lost track on which one should I use.

This is by far the most robust time tracking software I've ever tested. I love the screenshot taking feature and how easy is to create new tasks

Cons

I don't like that the pricing model is not per user, so let's say you have 6 employees you need to get the 10 employees plan instead of adding just one additional user.

### "Nice for employer, terrible for employee."

As a user, I did not like Hubstaff at all. It causes added tension during the workday and makes you feel like you need to be staring at your screen 100% of the time. Phone/Zoom calls are not considered in their metrics. As an employer, I understand wanting to see how productive your employees are, but processes should be in place to where you know if they are doing their job naturally. Have a little trust in your employees and they'll do great work for you.

Pros

The user-friendly interface made it a very easy software to install and use. As a user, you can easily see what your manager will see and judge your productivity on it.

Cons

It's terrible being monitored by mouse and keyboard usage for 8+ hours a day. Your productivity isn't measured by those metrics. For example, we had zoom meetings during the day to discuss streamlining processes between departments. Hubstaff showed that we were not working at all for that hour meeting, which skews the daily metric TERRIBLY. I also do not think it's beneficial for employers to hover over their employees strictly, but that's not HubStaff's fault.

I needed more flexibility in specifying date ranges than I had in the previous time tracker I was using, and Hubstaff delivered! It's not perfect--and sometimes it's frustrating--but it's nevertheless indispensable to me.

Pros

\* Website is often confusing: always have to look around to find the right page for creating a customized report \* Task durations are only downloadable in hour:minute:second form, which makes it cumbersome if you're importing into a spreadsheet and still need to convert to decimal hours (e.g., convert 1:37:17 to decimal) \* Need to enter tasks when setting up a project: can't enter them in the process of entering time. Would be nice to be able to type a task in the dropdown, have the page display an alert ("Do you want to add the task 'Drive to customer site' to the project?"), add the task to the project, and update the drop-down. \* Would like the option for more flexibility in manually entering times, e.g., if I'm doing something from 9:00 a.m. to 9:38 a.m., and I realize that I haven't started the timer, give me the option of manually entering 40 minutes before 9:40 a.m., even if it's not yet 9:40. \* In general, need more configuration options (see above).

Most probably the problem that company facing from their remote employee is how to track them when they are miles away, thanks to Hubstaff, They just got what it takes for the businesses problem-solved thru tracking their employees work, and of course employees have a good time tracking their workloads and have their proof that they did really work.

Pros

I like the most about it, but there is something special about their Report Section, Where you can see how much your Company Owes you each month thru their Monthly Hours report, as an hourly pay employee of our company, I need to send an invoice to the company's respective finance department, So it is easy for me to calculate my Monthly hours as I am receiving my salary at the end of each month.

Cons

Not Cons, but maybe some memory glitch :) I rarely forgot to turn it on once I've paused for some 5-minute break, and its just ugh, I did not track my time for more than an hour.

Pros

Easy to use, powerful feature set, multiple options for individual use/implementation (desktop app, browser extension, mobile app, etc.)

Cons

Many of the implementations experienced bugginess as various employees were using it (not tracking hours correctly, shutting down randomly, etc.). However, in my personal experience, the issues seemed to be mostly from the desktop application. Once they released the browser extension, I personally at least never had an issue.
