Hubstaff was easy to implement and roll out for my remote team. They have worked with us if we've had any questions or suggestions on how to best use the application.

Pros

Automates tracking of projects and other activities that cannot be readily tracked in our other applications to paint an accurate picture of our productivity and time we are spending on special projects.

It helps us maintain the budgets on our projects, and allows for more accurate billing to clients.

Pros

We use the Basecamp integration, which makes project setup very straightforward. It's easy to import our projects, add the right team members and generate reports.

Cons

It could use some UX improvements (e.g. which toggles are defaults, how summaries are shown) but once you get the hang of the software it's not a big deal.

### "Monitoring Remote Workforce with ease"

Hubstaff makes it extreme to monitor my remote workforce.

Pros

Hubstaff makes it very easy to mange my remote staff. The screenshots keeps me up to speed on what each developer is working on. The activity level helps me to monitor how much each developer is putting in and they get an immediate feedback from me.

Cons

The reporting for hours worked can be made easier to get to.

### "Helps tracking time on many projects"

Good service, I always got replies to my questions within a few hours. It always works properly, never had a bad surprise. A good product.

Pros

It's really efficient to track time and be able to know, at the end of the month, how long time all our team members have worked on each project. Makes the invoicing more accurate!

Cons

Nothing really. Maybe the fact that we can't pay with Paypal?

Being able to control my payroll expenses is huge. As a small company who is in a fast growth process, having a knowledge and control of staff performance is really important to long term survival. I've been able to keep my employees happier as well, because many of them have come to me from staffing services, who take a good portion of their salary as a fee. My employees are now keeping their money and know that they are also being paid for the work that they produce. Win-win for both sides!

Pros

Simple to use, cost effective and allows me to see what my staff is actually doing. No more paying for time on social media.

Cons

Not much I don't like. It could just be me, but it took me a while to get the hang of using it. I still am finding some things that seems a little foreign to me, but overall, it's great.

### "Simple and nice time tracking"

I like it, it's simple, reports are good, but I don't dive too deep into functionality. May be periodical screenshots delete is useful, or some other way to protect screenshots content (blurring it maybe? it contains some sensitive data sometimes, and blurred screenshot is enough to distinct Facebook from normal working processes). That's why I don't use screenshots and just mark time manually...

Pros

It's simple, works well, supports nice reports and manual time adding. There are some clients as well, but I don't use them - entering my time spent manually. I've used it only from developer perspective so far.

Cons

They have a bug - when you press "today" on daily timesheet it sometimes gives you yesterday date (exactly then this page has been loaded yesterday and then you didn't reload it, for example using sleep mode on your PC overnight). Everything else is fine.

Pros

I love that Hubstaff integrates with Asana seamlessly and can be accessed from any computer or mobile device. It's also super easy to onboard a team member.

Cons

I don't have any feature suggestions! It's a really great software and any issues that I've experienced turned out to be an issue with Asana's API.

### "Simple time tracking tool of the team"

Good tool to track the remote employees and measure the productivity. You get the screenshots to see exactly what they are working on during the work hours. Perfect to have complete control on the remote workers time which is billed to you.

Pros

Screenshots of the activity. Reporting of the users. Timesheets and productivity benchmarks. Compatible with Mac OS, Windows and also Ubantu. Good for hiring remote resources. Integrations to other project management tools like basecamp.

Cons

The tool does not record after being idle, unless you assign the idle time or ignore it. The tool also does not give notification of the activities which are listed in the basecamp when the due date is reached. It listes them in red, but no push notification or such.

We're using this software to track what our employees are doing during Work From Home.

Pros

It's easy to check what our employees or other teammates are doing. we get the activity percentage and screenshots taken at random intervals.

Cons

The Hubstaff time tracking software isn't foolproof and can be cheated with some python code by replacing the activity and the screenshots that will be sent to the system.

If a member is just removed from the organisation, you should still be able to access most of the reports about their tracked time during their tenure on the organisation. Only account owners, the Hubstaff users themselves, are able to delete their own accounts. Great product overall. Hardly had any issues with it.

Pros

Great software if you have remote employees. You can check how well the team is working, how actively they work and which project they work.

Cons

Not user friendly at times, at times you have to got to multiple screens to get the reports you need. Could get expensive if you have more than 10 people. (That definitely is an impediment)

Pros

Hubstaff is wonderful, it's quick and easy to use, and it's easy to fix mistakes if you forget to clock in/out. It just works which is wonderful.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about the software is sometimes a little too uninstrusive -- I forget to clock in sometimes. It would be cool if they could have a reminder feature that would pop up and ask if you'd like to log in.

I use Hub staff to manage my team members without going to the field, I like it since it's so easy to use with a good user interface, I like the ability for the team to share their work plan and signing on attendance online using the online attendance sheets

for sure the application is doing well for me and I don't have something to dislike as of now, I can just recommend the application to other users.

I can check everyone's work in one page. I don't have to worry about getting real time worked from the employees because I can see how much they worked from Hubstaff

Pros

I love hubstaff because it's very easy to use and it's a great way to keep up with your employees, you can add as many projects as you want and put each employee in a project. You can track time and see their screenshots as well as their activity levels. It's great for a start up or a remote team

Cons

The only thing I don't like about Hubstaff is the fact that you have to pay for a determined amount of members, you can't pay per person, you have to pay the plan. For example, If I have 30 employees and needed 1 more, I have to pay a plan for 40 people.

i use it to track my time record along the day, it help me keep productive and track which projects i am working on it right now and what i will work on it after that, that nice features helps me keep focus and productive.

Pros

it simple to use, the login process is easy with no ridiculous loading or something like that. the task although well oriented to make start work immediately.

Cons

ui of the program is too old they need to refresh the designs and make it more materialistic with keeping everything simple as that ( as we may found unnecessary flicking due to this updates).

Pros

I can track our employees across the world and accurately know what they did when. It is head and shoulders above any other tracker I used.

Cons

Managing more than 10 employees gets pricey on month to month and most smaller businesses can't handle that large of an annual charge.

Wonderful and apprreciative.

Pros

I juggle many projects and I work on many simultaneously. Hubstaff creates with its desktop app, an easy way to start/stop projects. I get to actually SEE how much time I worked on each project. Sometimes I will feel like I spent 30 hours on something when in actuality it was only 8. And then sometimes the opposite. I love KNOWING how much time I am spending on projects. Then my hourly employees can easily track when they work on projects and I get a clear picture. LOVE THIS!

Cons

I have found it really great and don't have improvement suggestions.

Overall, it's a good little productivity and timekeeper. Again, it was so easy to set up and use.

Pros

It is very easy to setup and use. There are no technical hoops to jump through. Admin can easily add users and accounts.

Cons

While I understand the reasoning behind screenshots of the users desktop, I find it a security risk. I don't like the idea of the application getting a screen shot of a password file or similar document.

overall experience with hubstaff are great, easy to use, covering all that i need to support my work and teams. light apps and complete report on my dashboard on web version.

Pros

task & scheduler menu in hubstaff are newly added are the best. so i don't need using another apps to make a task. its like one stop apps that i can use to monitoring my team.

Cons

the least thing about this software are unable this software to login more than 1 account. i think that if in PC software i can login with more that 1 account in 1 software that would be great like Instagram and i change the account as i needed to use. sometimes i need to borrow my sister laptop to work and every time i use it i have to re login and re logout my sister account. while i just need it only for couple of minutes.

We use the screenshots a lot. It is very useful to see what is going on when remote staff is not responding. We use the weekly timesheets for payroll

Cons

I would like to be able to pull a weekly timesheet report. Would like to add users one at a time.

in the sence, overall work tracking and time tracking functionality is realy good. we can handover the reports to our clients about each time span i work for them

Pros

it is the perfect time or work tracking software. perfect for freelance workers to track time spend in each works. it can track each activity in particuar intervels of time. it can track the activities of user in each span such as how much he / she uses the keyboard or mouse in that time span. it captures the screen three times in every 10 minute span. it helps to manage projects too.

Cons

not much yet. perosnaly i dont like the screen capture three times in a row with out notification is least like since it may save unwanted scrrens too
