Great app; it's easy, fast and super convinient to use.

Pros

As freelancer I was tired of tracking my time on my phone and then having to do the math as to how much I've worked and the amount of money that I should get payed. But, with Hubstaff it made it so much easier and faster and everything is in one place. I can track time, see how many hours and how much money I've accumulated. Everything is on the site: the reports, the time, the hours, the money... I just love it.

Cons

I only use Hubstaff for tracking my hours and money I've gain and, up to now, I haven't encountered any issues, like I said, I love this app.

I enjoy being able to benchmark specific tasks across my team to see how much time it takes to complete a specific task in order to coach employees that work slowly or have lower activity levels.

Pros

I like that Hubstaff tracks employee activity percentage, takes screenshots of their screens and integrates with Trello and QuickBooks.

Cons

I dislike the lack of integrations. I would like to display Hubstaff time tracking in my Salesforce dashboard so that I can have a single pane view of everything going on in my business.

Working through Hubstaff allows me to find more quickly external freelancers for my different projects. It's easy to manage freelancers' work via this platform and to pay them.

Pros

Very easy to use tool to create projects, to invite people and to manage online the freelancers work To pay the external freelancers, there is an automated payment option Can also easily be used for one-time projects with fixed payment amount It offers several monitoring tools (like screenshots, timesheets, work reports)

Cons

There are only two payment methods to pay the external freelancers (Paypal and TransferWise) It's a shame that there is no integrated communication tool, to chat with the freelancers we have to go through another option.

Overall - have no issues, it's not annoying and just works.

Pros

It's really easy to use, even with such amount of features it has. Almost has no bugs or annoying moments... or I didn't notice that.

Cons

Sometimes I have issues with Linux Desktop app: counter can't get reset and continues to count from a previous day.

I like the the tool, and its been very helpful in tracking my team/employees activities during working hours to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.

Pros

One of the features of this toll that I like most is that it can be used offline, then synchronizes/uploads the data as soon as when connected back to the internet. It's perhaps the best work time-tracking softwares that I have used, keeps log of everything including all webpages employees visited, and can even take screenshots of employees activities. I like this so much!

Cons

Some employees have complained about their inability to pause a workflow for a later resumption when they had to take an impromptu, alternative official assignment that comes in the middle of an ongoing project/activity, when that happens, that team member's activity is flagged.

### "Managing a team anywhere!"

Pros

1\. Able to view screen shots of work being accomplished and able to ask my designer, before they even send it, to do a modification. It is like being right next to them, even though they are in another country! 2. Payroll is very easy process. 3. Can determine whether employee is working or pretending to work. Makes them accountable for their hours and work.

Cons

1\. Cost is a bit high and would like to see package pricing at a more reasonable price. For start up companies, like ourselves, every penny counts . 2. At times, screen shots do not work, but 98% of the time , that is not an issue.

Makes my life easier. Saves time.

Pros

The easy time tracking tool and the possibilities of generating reports. When I send my hours to my employer it is very easy to export a timesheet with an overview of my projects and hours.

Cons

Sometimes it is hard to find things on the website interface and is too detailed. I don't use all the functionalities of Hubstaff such as the invoices and schedules so it would be nice to be able to hide them.

HubStaff is an exceptional workforce management solution that enhance our team management processes and take team's productivity to new heights.

Pros

The software is user-friendly which makes it easy to track time, monitor team's productivity and manage tasks efficiently. The time tracking feature is very accurate that allowing me to monitor the hours spent on different projects and tasks.

Cons

It was quite difficult to setup but their prompt and helpful responses makes my setup process easy. We did not face any issues with the software till using the tool.

Very positive. It has been very helpful in getting people to adhere to company policy on clocking time. It's just a big stress reliever for both manager and employee.

Pros

Great way to track time and drop in on employees to make sure they are working on your projects. In reality, I almost never drop in because there is usually never an issue. It helps to keep them honest and avoid conflict, distrust, and innuendo.

Cons

Sometimes it takes a few clicks to get to where you want to be.

After long search for a Asana task time tracker, we decided to go with Hubstaff. I never got back to asking myself if I made the wrong choice. I needed an app that integrated with Asana to be able to follow what the team is working on and how much time they spend on the projects. I also use it to follow freelancers time for their invoicing.

As the assistant to the CEO, I use Hubstaff to keep track of what's going on at the office. Though it takes some getting used to—and there's a lot to get used to—it's been very handy for running the office. I can recommend that you use it!

Pros

Hubstaff is marketed as time-tracking software, but it's really more of a way to keep you on the same page with all of your staff. You can track their hours, schedule meetings, monitor productivity through URL and activity checks, and even track GPS when they're on the road. It's an excellent way to make sure everyone's getting the work done to the best of their ability.

Cons

This is both a blessing and a curse, but Hubstaff has a lot of features. A LOT. It can be very intimidating to get used to them all and to keep track of everything. Once you get used to it, it's great, but those first few days are rough.

Some tasks can be complex to use for teams that do not have digital skills.The free version is not available.

Pros

We're a fully remote company, so Hubstaff has allowed us to have a system for accountability of working time. Also has made it much easier to work with independent contractors and for them to invoice us accurately and easily.

Cons

The time tracking originally was quite glitchy, with time being lost and tracking starting and stopping randomly. However, the release of the Hubstaff chrome extension has pretty much fully resolved any issues we've had.

Team monitoring, Idle time management, Improved activity, Improved performance, No personal work . The team is able to concentrate on their work and sit continuously on their desk doing their task. They take less breaks and work hard.

Pros

I like the way its doing the job of monitoring the employees to be productive in work and this has stopped them doing personal work in the office. The screen shots every 5 mins is a cherry on the cake.

Cons

I feel the activity tracking should be improved when an employee is doing work apart from using the keyword or mouse. Sometimes they are on a video conference with the client or watching a training video.

I have a lot of contractors and it was difficult to monitor their work and ensure everyone was paid properly. I also had people that wanted to be paid via different methods. This made it a lot easier for me to keep everything in one place.

Pros

I like that I have the flexibility to pay people the way that they would prefer and I can monitor their work and progress.

Cons

Setting up the payments is a little bit messy and if something goes wrong it is difficult to retroactively fix something.

Hubstaff's Activity screenshots is a great way both for the freelancers and clients to have proof of what work is being done on specific time frames. Because of this, it is very easy to discuss any discrepancies or issues that may arise involving the worked hours.

Cons

There is nothing I can think of that I least like about Hubstaff. I really like how I am able to keep track of my worked hours and amount earned using this software.

Hubstaff is ideal for freelancing roles, or part-time roles where you are paid based on hours. It is easy and gives you a good report on the work and activity.

Pros

I love the fact this software is easy to use and it tracks the time. The better part is, it even tracks the activity on the pc when the software is active and also take screenshots. It allows you to set away too, so the software is more or less very accurate. Very efficient when it comes to tracking OT/or part-time role where we pay by hours.

Cons

So far we have had no issue except for the first time users do need a bit of a guide.

Pros

Software was fairly easy to learn and user friendly. Desktop app is also handy. It provides the basics for what my company needs in terms of keeping track of hours, projects, and tasks.

Cons

Only thing I really didn't like was having to pay more for features that really should be included in the basic package to begin with, like budget for example. Can't imagine why I should have to pay double for a simple feature like that.

A quick and easy way to track employee workflow and productivity.

Pros

Hubstaff is a great tool for tracking remote workers. I can keep track of how much work they are doing, and get screen shots at random times to make sure they're not playing Candy Crush instead of working!

Cons

The activity tracker only tracks keystrokes, and sometimes a project is more mouse clicks, so it makes it look like the employee isn't working as hard as they really are.
