I don't use many of the advanced features but I've never had an issue with the basic usage! Cons On very very rare occasions, the timer will start with the time accrued from the previous day. It quickly corrects itself so it's really not an issue, just the only thing I could think of to put here! Time overview tools could be improved" May 19, 2018 4.0 I can more easily track my work time, which is very nice as a graduate student with an unstructured workday. Pros It is very easy to use to track time -- I especially like the "idle feature" that gives you the option to keep or get rid of idle time. I like the ability to easily look over my week's time. Cons I wish that it were easier to see the number of hours worked in a particular span of time. It would be nice to be able to start the weekday on an arbitrary day. It would be nice to be able to add/edit time from the desktop app, or to have the desktop app synchronize more effectively with the website when time has been added or edited. I can just send the time report and screenshots Pros The website dashboard is user-friendly, it is easy to use. The auto screenshot is also a great feature! Cons I am really having a problem with exporting/downloading the screenshots from the website to my local computer. The instruction on how to do it is for advanced users only. Pros Hubstaff is a great tool to enhance productivity among your team. Not only it helps you track your work it also helps you track behavioral patterns. It also helped us track the exact time spent on working so that we could invoice clients more efficiently. A great tool for efficiency and productivity would recommend everyone. We need to pay extra for every person added to the time tracking. That is nonsense - If I want to track my time on projects, and show the client what bill he has. I need to pay extra each time I add a client if he can track the progress. Advertising says 8.33$ month then the price is changed to 10$, then it changed to 40$ because we added people to members. BUT there is no option to add clients and show them the bill, every "bill" needs to be charged extra. I used many time trackers and wanted to have a good, pro version of it. To have it all in one place. So worst experience ever. Will not recommend it to anyone and look for a better alternative. When it comes to the addition of clients to the organisation, this can be done with them being added as project viewers. These are free users that you can have on the organisation, that are not allowed to track time but can view the information about others' tracked time to their assigned projects. Very impressed with the rest though. Pros I love the screen shots. Easy to install Cons I found that I could only link to a githup team account not my personal one for issue tracking. That meant I had to repeat myself to create tasks. Or I would have to spend more money with github just so I could link the issues. Pros Task delegation and tracking its progress is made easy by Hubstaff. Whether you have an online task or a task that require some field work you can track the task progress using this application. It's user interface is very friendly and easy to understand and you can get number of reports using this application. Lastly it also have a free version to try it. Cons Its difficult to track Screen recording, there should be a mechanism to identify only those recordings where there is any deviation from the actual task being performed. Its great to keep track of what you're working on for a project. Cons I don't really care for the activity monitor because if you're on a video conference talking with someone it counts it as 0% activity even though the conference is for work. June 18, 2019 5.0 Overall this is a great solution for a team or startups. I am using it as a time tracking software and it is great at it. Pros Everything I need is here or I can say more then I need is here. Time tracking and reporting is my main target but I found more than that. It is all in one solution and the free version is more than enough or a freelancer. I can do time tracking and get the reporting and check all my activity and tune my workflow. Managing time is the best option I have and love to spend a lot of time on YT and social media without any reason, I find out when using time tracking. Integration is the best option now using apps I can access everything inside hubstaff. Calendar sync is just a relief. Cons I don't like manual registration.
