Pros

From an administrator's perspective, it is easy to create a report for the the time spent by our development team when building new features. It has been helpful in being able to track the R&D for accounting purposes.

Cons

I personally only use it to pull reports. Don't have any negatives on this software.

I can easily track how many hours I have worked.

Pros

I am able to show accountability with my boss and the hours I have worked. I also like that I can update times when I am away from computer.

Cons

I get paid every two weeks- so I would like a way to set up something that just automatically emails me every two weeks

Being able to track my activity and see where I need to improve is what I love about Hubstaff.

Pros

I really like that you are able to have it running smoothly in the background, and then be able to login and check your activity and efficiency.

Cons

The software will tell you when you have been idle for 10 minutes. This can be a nuisance if you are in a meeting that is lasting 30-45 minutes.

### "Nice tool to track and pay for remote jobs"

This software solves me the problems of tracking, manage, and billing remote employees. It costs me less that using similar software of other providers and seems to be quite reliable.

Pros

It's really easy to setup and use. Everything is built to be very intuitive and does not require any significant efforts, which is very important, when you want to start fast.

Cons

For the moment, there is nothing I dislike in the software.

It does the job, barely, but given so many better options, I would never choose it for my own company, or recommend it to anybody.

Pros

I found literally nothing that it does better than the alternatives or that impressed me favorably.

Cons

The time tracking by default is focusing on invading team members' privacy and eroding trust. The dashboard widgets are focused on American-style weekly billing, and there's no option to switch to monthly as used in most of the world.

Timetrack for remote team

Pros

I have some issue while I tried to export time data to a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet was incorrect. Another Con of the Soft is lack of integration with other App- Asana.

Cons

Easy to understand UI; main features- screenshots; fast to start and work; easy time data analytics.

I have had a great experience with Hubstaff and I don't think I've used it to its full capacity.

Pros

I love that I'm able to track time for each of my contractors and clients and be able to set budgets for both.

Cons

I do wish the client budget option could repeat weekly, the only option now is monthly. I have clients that I have weekly limits for.

### "Hard to use, lack of features"

We used Hubstaff for a while then have to change for functional reasons. Also, it wasn't affordable. We switch to WebWork Time Tracker. It's only $2.99 per/user. They have great features, especially for hybrid teams. Attendance monitoring, Time Tracking with screenshots, Apps & Website usage monitoring.

Pros

Hubstaff is good software. I like their GPS tracking feature which was new for me.

Cons

It's hard to use, especially when our team became larger, there is a lack of needed features.

We all work remotley so this helps keep track of everyone. The screen grabs and activity levels really help to make sure everyone is using their time correctly.

Pros

I love being able to track everything I have worked on so easily. I have to switch projects often and this makes it so much easier.

Cons

when I have to manually add my time in it changes my activity level to 0. It drops my score for the whole week

Pros

They keep everything up to date! constant updates to make everything even better! You can track time from the web browser but you'll miss all the features they have in the native app for windows/mac/linux etc

Cons

I think it needs dark theme as everyone is updating their apps/websites but otherwise it works like charm!

Hubstaff has really helped in the COVID-19 pandemic time. It has reduced many admin works and improved the productivity. We can easily analyze each and every work time process and improve it for growth. A tool that help you to grow!!

Pros

Product is quite easy to use and has a variety of integration. It has built-in project management for team. Now it is easy to manage the accuracy of work time and manage time sheets in no time.

Cons

I think there should be a leave management so admin can easily manage it. Sometime user forgot to complete the task at day end so when PC (Device) is logged off then tracker should be paused.

I have worked remotely and onsite with Hubstaff as my hour tracker and I have no qualms with it. It makes my life so much easier to log my hours and write out my invoices.

Pros

easy to work remotely, functions allow you to adjust when timer goes off, easy to remove/add time, accurate timer, can work without internet connection

Cons

lots of updates and sometimes freezes up

Pros

I can track time for my client, and I can also view reports of activity by project. It also sends screenshots to my client, which verifies the work I am doing. I also love the desktop timer and ability to track time on my phone through the app.

Cons

I wish the desktop timer kept track of weekly time so I can see my total time per week.

I used time tracking software for long time ago, but it was just a tracker to start/stop time spent on task. No screenshots, no activity monitoring. I really thought that it's user privacy and can affect badly on productivity. Cut the story short - I was wrong: after started using hubstaff, I had to fire one absolutely unproductive man, but others were great, I understood why some of my guys really deserve for salary bonuses, and some of them - realized (mostly by themselves) that social network affects badly on their possibility to solve working tasks, and that fixed that . Really, really glad that we use it.

Pros

It really helps to discipline and get most of the time spent on work.

Cons

A little bit outdated desktop interface. Metro style or flat will work better))

I use it every day and really like it. Indeed I advise it as software to use every time someone is asking me about a time-tracking tool to recommend. It's comfortable, easy to use and has great tutorials and FAQ section and support team is always there if needed

Pros

It's very intuitive and easy to use. Apart from tracking time, it's a great tool to analyze your personal performance and performance of your team.

Cons

There were several design changes that made it a bit confusing to use it after each change, but I like the new look - just needed some time to get used to it

Pros

We are able to sync with many different outside programs, giving us more precise project tracking records

Cons

The reporting tools are not always easy to use, I often need to export the raw data and reformat within Excel to get the information I wish.
