Pros It's very easy for your workers to use this tool. They just have to install a simple client and that's it. They also provide integration with many other tools such as Gitlab, Asana, Jira and more. I liked it very much. Cons Integration can be tricky, specially because you can have more than one remote project connected to a single Hubstaff project. Very nice, clean and user friendly user interface Pros What I like on hubstaff is that its very easy to use. It has a very user friendly user interface wherein its easy to understand whats the function and purpose of each button and link. It also shows graphical reports for easy reading and monitoring. And as a virtual assistant, its easy for me to say to my employer that I'm not cheating or taking advantage of my time since it has a function of capturing screen, apps and urls. Cons What I only least like to this is its not converting into my time zone the "This Week" report panel. I want it to view on my time zone just like to TimeSheet so that it will be easier for me to monitor my logs per week. And also I least like is that it don't have a history on report for "Activity", "Work this Week" & "Earn this Week" because sometimes, I want to monitor also my logs on that particular area. Pros The ease of use... our employer can track easily with the time tracker and the screen shot functions. You can also keep track of your own time and may explain the screenshots when there is a problem. Cons Not really that I don’t like but Inhad this experience of dealing with a power failure. During that time my tracker is open and because there is no power naturally my pc shuts down but the tracker keeps tracking and all my screenshots were idle and I had to explain to my employer that we had a power failure and that I wasn’t idling on purpose. Pros The product is intuitive and easy to use even for first time users. You can customize it further for benchmarking as you can easily set different projects for each user to change and track time on. Cons Leave tracking is available but you would need to upgrade which is a bit steep for a small company. Hubstaff is the best I have ever found. Reasonable price and very accurate. In fact it saved me a few thousand dollars because i was able to track a contractor who was spending more time on youtube than my tasks Pros \- good price - great support - easy to move around in - I like that it tracks keyboard and mouse activity. The payroll feature is also great. Cons The design of the desktop app is a bit dated and took me and my staffs some time to figure out different functionalities. It could use some UX improvements to make it better. Also, the activity tracking feature can be improved to include certain scenarios. Eg: An employee watching a training video (the keyboard and mouse activity will be less in this case and the activity level is dropping). My photography company has three owners, and we all use it and use a lot of the functions. But to add even one assistant (forget 5), who doesn't need to use anything besides clocking in and out for general assisting, it's too expensive. I wish there were a way to add a restricted team member or something. Hubstaff is too expensive to have our assistants on, so we have to use a different software for that. Not exactly convenient. For employees, it helps to stay focused especially when you're working virtually. I like that time can be tracked for different projects. Cons For people using Hubstaff for multiple projects or different organizations, it's not easy to track both. We're still trying to figure out how one person can be with different organizations. It's nice that it's just there with a click of a button, and you can enable it to remind you to login if you haven't done so yet. Although sometimes I tend to forget, it's reassuring to see the green icon there, knowing that my work is counted and I am paid for my time. Pros It's easy to use and there's a Web portal where I can track my activities and productivity levels. It's nice to see the hours accumulated. Cons Nothing much. Really. For WFH it's a good fit and in terms of pricing, it's slightly overpriced. Cons The tracker doesn't track phone calls, so my activity is always low since I work for support and most of my work is on the phone, while this tracks only my keyboard and mouse activity...Some additional functionality to also track phone calls would be great.
