Pros

Hubstaff understands what a digital manager needs. You can check on your employees' performance and project milestones in an effective and swift fashion. It basically allows you to manage multiple work teams without the need for pesky intrusions.

Cons

It is a bit off-putting though. Click and mouse monitoring, screenshots, and constant reminders might drive your staff crazy but if they are in desperate need of help to meet a deadline, Hubstaff is your best bet.

Pros

Ability to cater all project management monitoring. To inlcude staff and task that are being performed.

Cons

Nothing for now but as a suggetion, I guess having this application possible to be integrated with other application that might be beneficial for employers.

Pros

Prior to using this software, my virtual team was tracking hours with their own timers. Although the majority of them gave me no issues, there were always a few I was suspicious about. Upon getting this software, I know that the time billed is time used in benefit to my organization. It feels good to be able to see the screen shots throughout the day knowing that I'm not being billed for other contracts my virtual team may be working on.

Cons

I like it. I have no complaints about this software.

Pros

I am able to easily track my time, and see which days I am deficient. I am also easily able to navigate to the screenshots page and manage the screenshots that my client sees.

Cons

I do not like having my client notified everytime I delete a screenshot item. Since it is not being charged anyway, it should not come up as a manual time adjustment.

Extremely valuable.

Pros

The app allows me to monitor the time of projects with a splendid app, not to mention its excellent sync with integrations and easy UX. Good product.

Cons

I really don't dislike anything besides I'd personally love the timetracking app to have a Pomodoro methodical timer as well for projects, as it sometimes runs without me knowing

The members of my team have been using Hubstaff to track the different activities they perform on a daily basis, and I as a manager use it to report to the client and to elaborate/feed my own metrics. It generally works well for this but there are a few bugs.

Pros

Simplicity seems to be its strongest point.

Cons

Suboptimal functionality of some features, inconsistencies on the interface, and a strange bug.

Overall experience with Hubstaff is as good as mentioned above in the Pros section. I have been using it for last 4 months, I am getting used to the system and would definitely provide my insights on how you can improve the features of the application. Thanks once again.

Pros

I just loved the utility Hubstaff is providing me to calculate my work hours and track my overall record just say for a week. Another thing I would recommend Hubstaff for is when we coupled it with my project management application, it just gives me to get insight for each and every project and task I am working on. Thanks for the efforts guys.

Cons

I am confused about the screenshot activity happening with Hubstaff. The problem I am seeing is, when I open the application for Windows, screenshots are being taken at the same time. This is where my employers would mislead my activity, request you to kindly improve this feature.

Pros

Honestly it’s super helpful for tracking my staff I had one employee on retainer for $3500 then I realized my business was bleeding money so I went back to hourly and found out in comparison. She was only working $1500 dollars worth of hours it’s been amazing and allows me not to micromanage time, or have some wonky time sheet that could or could not be inflated or even correct.

Cons

Sometimes hard to figure out what features you actually need within the software there are tons of options.

Pros

Lightweight (takes about 22.5 Mb of RAM on MAC OS), user friendly, transparent. Great time tracking and reporting feature set.

Cons

Could not find an 'always on top' counter in Linux version.

Aleksandr, The Linux app does have a Always on Top feature. It is in the apps preferences. It only works when the app is in compact mode though. You should contact us on our support page if this isn't working.

We were thinking that some people just don't get the best of their time. Hubstaff help us resolve this issue.

Pros

This tool is the best if you want to control a group of people and what they do on their time. Sometimes people just waste time on the job, hubstaff will let you fix this issue. It contains details like how much is the user interacting with the computer, traking their time working, and even taking screenshots. Really a must have for controlling over a team.

Cons

Nothing. This software is just great as it is.

I don't like that the software takes pictures of your screen every 10 minutes. It's excessive.

Overall I was weary of using it at first, but have come to see it's perks!

Pros

I like that it gives you the opportunity to track your time worked, and the option to use this as time reporting for pay. I also like that you can easily stop, start, and it records idle time as well. It is motivating for productivity purposes, and helps keep you on track. I also like that it tracks usage of Apps on your computer as well!

Cons

The feature that tracks how long you spend on each website or ticket is a little limited, sometimes it only records that you're using Google Chrome instead of knowing that you've been working on a ticket, or sitting on a phone call.

We use this to help estimate on future projects that are similar in scale and scope in a very difficult world of estimation (creative advertising).

Pros

The ability to manage my time is phenomenal. Super easy to track and view hours on projects, adjust time when necessary, and statistically track a plethora of information and make informed decisions based on this data. All under a refined, easy-to-use software package that isn't intrusive to my day-to-day operations.

Cons

I would love the ability to send reports on a schedule to someone. My secretary asks for my timesheet every Monday and I have to manually export the previous week to PDF and email. I'd love to just set this to auto run.

Accurately records my time so I get paid fairly.

Pros

Records working time fairly accurately. Easy to record, takes 2 mouse clicks. Can customize working projects (really neat feature). The hubstaff design logo is simple and looks Good.

Cons

Sometimes glitches. I used hubstaff on my phone and sometimes it didn't sycn with the hubstaff on my PC. Wants updated almost every couple of months.

Good experience. It does what it should but could have more.

Pros

Hubstaff is a good time tracking and employee monitoring software. I am a user, not an administrator but we just started using it at my work for the past few months. It is very easy to add time to timesheets and also pretty easy for my team leads to organize shifts for the employees. A few clicks and you get exactly what you wanted.

Cons

Compared to some other software, the results of this one are pretty basic. It works well but it doesn't have enough functionalities. Also, I find it very strange design-wise that you need another application to use the stopwatch.

Very good experience and very easy to use. I can supervise all my employees and give transparency to my customers.

Pros

The integration part with third party is very important since allow me to connect daily task with visible supervision and confirm the employees are using their time correctly.

Cons

The registration process when I invite a new employee is a problem. The employee always get confuse in which company they are when are doing the enrollment.

This tool is great help as it helps me to keep track of all my team activities. I am most of the time traveling and not present in the office so this tool helps me to monitor my team activities. This is a light weight tool and send accurate data
