Pros I love this app so easy to use. It helps me be productive in the task given to me by my employer. Of all the tracker ive used before, this one is my most used and recommended to others and my clients as well. Cons I dont see anything that i like least about the software. While we don't recommend solely viewing someones screenshots for accessing performance, it does help administrators figure out what projects are being worked on. I am a user that clocks in and out daily with this program. I enjoy the 'app' that i could download to my MAC or PC. I enjoy the hourly, weekly, and monthly time cards along with the capability to see my potential earnings. Cons The item I like least is when the software takes a screenshot of my screens. Which is fine, but every 5 minutes it takes a screenshot which makes a 'bing' noise. I wear headphones for my job and have to keep the volume up due to being unable to hear some soft spoken customers. And it feels like it slows my computer down for a few seconds which just gets annoying over time. Pros The ability to track the productivity and working hours of the team, while working remotely. The ability to maintain billable and non-billable hours and associating cost with each resource, hence providing the ease at the end of the month for invoicing. Cons This tools needs to relook at their procedure for productivity calculations, we have resources who have complained that even though they kept the tool on while working then also the productivity wasn't recorded. If you don't have that personality, though, it may be difficult to be as detail oriented in your tracking as is ideal with using Hubstaff. Pros It was easy to use and I loved the reporting it gave the following day. It helped more with my productivity than expected. Cons It didn't offer as much flexibility for assigning time to non-specific projects as I would have hoped. Also we have the ability to connect with asana project board too which keeps everything very organized. Cons So far the only thing that I thing could be improved is the reporting system of payment history as I would like to see which user was paid which amount. But the impractical and not very smooth operation of the desktop and web app clients, as well as a sub-par task functionality, and lack of good keyboard shortcuts (like Asana or GMail-shift-?), leaves me with not enough reasons to choose your software over competing solutions. Pros Hubstaff setup and use is very intuitive. I tried several timekeeping solutions and found Hubstaff to be the best bang for the buck for my small company. Pros It works fine. Tracks active time on a project, and verifies it by taking periodic screenshots of my desktops.
