When time permits I hope to learn more of it's features and use it to it's full potential and possibly then I may find some negatives! Pros The best feature that this software holds is the way it sees the employee's activity by doing snapshots every 10 minutes in a random time. Cons The least would be how inactivity only depends on mouse movement and keyboard typing, there should be other ways especially if the company includes watching videos as part of their work or waiting for phone calls and chats I mean what if there are just a few volume of calls and chats then the only way is to move your mouse. You need to make something like trello but able to track time and take screenshots with reports etc. I would focus on that. Pros It works well, easy to use and a lot of the platform is intuitive. Cons Manual time is messed up, trello integration is not usable, the whole system needs to be focused on practicality and ease of use. The bigger the team is the more automation we need. You need to make an option for trello when you integrate it that the tasks can connect not only by column but also by label, person doing it, due date etc. Review Source MD Mike D. Pros Categories for work are nice, and the ability to use the online version since the app is incredibly unreliable. Cons The app is clunky. With a good number of developers we like working oversees, we are able to keep a close eye on the progress being made on each project without having to nag them with emails and calls from the other side of the world. Pros The ability to create and assign multiple projects and track/manage/oversee them without having to nag and micromanage employees. The integration options and having the Hubstaff support chat always available is a good nice benefit. I found that the interfase in simple and straight forward for simple and daily things, although conplicated to use in several projects at the same time. Cons Needs better graphics. Not easy to use when working in multiple projects at the same time. Also needs better access to the settings and options part of the whole software. Overall it is an ok thing to use. The other serious problem the percent counting. If I am working at my max the percent is only around 70% - I have to think, read, etc. as a creative. (I've tried the programe as a writer, but the max. result was only 85%...who can work at 100%??) We try to stress that these numbers should not be used as goals or targets, but rather a general trend of how someone works. Pros I have liked the automatic tracking of time and the utilization of time. It sure takes the guesswork out of how your virtual assistants are doing. Cons I have found trying to setup the automatic payments almost impossible. Hubstaff asks you to be approved for mass payments from PayPal. Paypal asks you what you'll be paying for. You tell Paypal that you're using the mass payments to pay other people for their wages and PayPal did not approve me because they're policy doesn't include payroll. BitWage still can't verify my checking account, so I've had to manually pay my virtual assistant for the last month and still haven't resolved the inability to pay automatiacally. I have not tried the premium subscription yet, but the feature allowing time tracking the workers on hubtalent wuld be useful. Cons The lack of payroll tracking by month, not everything by week.
