Pros

I signed up to a free trial u wittingly. The software was complicated and I tried to cancel for months but could not get ahold of the right person. They did not issue me a full refund only 82 of the 250 they billed me for never using their product and not being able to reach or call or email. Keep away from them!! I will not be surprised if the 82 dollars they said they will refund never goes into my account.

Cons

They are not good in any way. They have bad customer service. You will not be able to speak with anyone via telephone. They take money for no service. Beware.

Overall Hubstaff was ok. Didn't use it long because the company started using something else. I would recommend to use it.

Pros

I really liked that I could see my schedule in advance. It was easy to use. It was easy to navigate.

Cons

Did not like that everyone else could see my schedule. Sometimes it would not remember my time at work.

Pros

Easily track time. Easily track productivity.

Cons

You can only define 1 universal currency which everything is based. I have employees and clients around the world. I need the ability to define employee A pay in one currency(USD) and the billing rate for Client A in another currency(GBP). Employee B pay(INR) and Client B billing rate(AUD).

Visual keys and dashboards. The time is tracked accurately and per project. The reports are professional and useful for executives and front line employees to understand their work habits.

Cons

Limited users. when users log in offsite on mobile devise, coverage becomes a challenge. Users should not use while driving yet waiting to connect.

A good trial use but will not continue its use due to cost per benefit.

Pros

It enables offline work and data sent when connected to network. It allows time tracking from different devices. Support is very good.

Cons

It only works more effectively with windows. It is expensive compared to others.

Time tracking, screenshots, making staff accountable, ease of use - saves me a lot of money in staff idle time.

Pros

Tracks and monitors remote staff easily, and effectively. Very easy for staff to install and use daily. Tracks metrics, logged hours, % of time work and takes screenshots to double check staff. (I found out one of my staff members 'was' spending 3-4 hours per day to catch up on his TV watching time - hubstaff solved this problem and saved me more money in a month than I will pay in 2 years for the product!

Cons

There is a slight learning curve, but nothing hard. Because the software has a lot of advanced features it will take a few log in's and playing around to fully utilize 100%.

Global approach, connects you with talent across the globe. Support responded quickly. Easy to post jobs.

Cons

allow filters based on country and demographic. As of now selections for filter are (1) open for everyone, (2) no one , (3) contacts you know. We were looking for employees in the US, UK and mentioned this in our job description. We received hundreds of likely spammed applicants from India, Philippines and other places wasting our time.

Pros

Very easy to track your time. You can use tasks to keep track of how long you worked on those specific tasks. Very easy to add time if you forgot to start the timer. The dashboard is customize-able as to what information you want to see at a glance.

Cons

Sometimes the activity percentage does not seem to match up with the work that is being done, but Hubstaff did explain that the working percentage may not be the same for everyone as it depends on what kind of work is being done.

Pros

Screen captures to help me keep my staff accountable! This helps me keep my staff on track and I can ask them specifics about their day.

Cons

trying to get the payroll option set up. its a bit cumbersome. I would like to be able to pay my staff at different times based on their position. From what I know this isn't possible yet.

Since using Hubstaff,it has been so simple to keep track of what my staff are doing and all at the click of a button--great!!

Pros

Everything,the whole system is great.Customer Support is great,if they are not online-due to the time difference,they come back with an answer as soon as they are. The training videos are great but things are so clear and easy to understand anyway,I would not think many people use them.

Cons

I can see so faults at all so far--let's hope it stays like that!!

Remote worker monitoring

Pros

Efficient tracking of time spent working for different customers. Easy and good billing reports. Easy to manage. As a manager, you have the opportunity to monitor the overall activities of workers.

Cons

Takes a little getting used to in order to find your way around, but easy after that. Good reports!

Its easy and reliable. Get accurate results and see screenshots of your team to monitor their activity.

Cons

You have to be in the premium tier to get some of the functionality like application monitoring and activity tracker. You have to basically pay the double amount to get these features.
