Pros

Hubstaff app for windows works quite well and has the functionalities needed for time keeping. Hour reporting is also easy to use.

Cons

Hubstaff tasks integration still not working so well. I would prefer to have all task management working directly from the main Hubstaff application.

Pros

It is easy to use, and easy to add entries. Time tracking is good, has a lot of reports. Has alot of features like GPS tracking, Automate time tracking with Geofencing, payroll, Team scheduling, and integration with other Apps.

Cons

Can't add (Start & End Date) to Tasks under different project, Can't add End date for Projects, Can't add project months for those projects which have both start/end time and number of hours required. So it is little bit hard to track the progress of the projects.

I'm able to use it to replace my Upwork time tracker, which doesn't work on my Chromebook I use for travel.

Pros

It's really convenient, and a well-known App/service so I can send timesheets to clients without them being questioned. The drop-down list of projects right in my browser is quikc and easy.

Cons

The set-up process is unclear on teams and projects - it guides you to set up other companies and integrations, when all I needed was to set up my clients as projects. The setup wizard stopped halfway. It's not designed for solo user accounts. Part of the Menu is hidden behind a button that says Get Started which never went away after I got started.

The tracking system works great. If you only need to use this you are okay.

Cons

It is not user-friendly, very low UI/UX. It is so complex to integrate the other platforms. They should improve the usability of the web platform.

It is overall great, beneficial and a good investment for a company, and we wish to see more improvements in the future.

Pros

Hubstaff provides an easy way to keep the teams organized, as an administrator, I can easily check the progress of teams and track the working times.

Cons

Hubstaff should offer more customization options to customize the working of the app according to the environment/nature of office and working e.g setting idle timeout, screenshot frequency etc. Our work is dependent upon internet, but when the internet is off, it still tracks time, although the team is not working at that time, so there should be an option to adjust these settings.

Our team really likes Hubstaff however we feel that for this price payroll should be easier.

Pros

Great tracking, lots of customization, nice clean UI

Cons

The payroll. After spending a week with Paypal they finally declined to allow mass payments. Payoneer has a 20,000USD minimum. Paying premium for Hubstaff I would prefer this to be easier.

Hubstaff had a clean UI and had all the features we were looking

Putting time is time consuming itself.

Pros

I would say integration with Jira, but it's bugfull and not intuitive. Why some tasks are not appeared in hubstuff, what do I have to do for them to appear in hubstaff, etc.

Cons

Bugs in web portal like weird layouts, visual bugs: with recent update all of the icons look the same: just empty squares, because your you didn't provide appropriate CORS headers and Chrome blocked loading your custom fonts.

User interface is super simple and clean, really easy to navigate. Compared to other options on the market, Hubstaff does the job a lot easier and simpler. Client invoicing and timesheets are an invaluable asset.

The overall impression - a functional piece of software, well connected to the cloud base, that could put on a little make up and be a little more open about when it'll be out of service

Pros

It is simple to use, the desktop client is connected to the website profile, so that is all roses

Cons

I might be splitting hair here, but the GUI could be a little less 90s :D MORE IMPORTANTLY if there is a site maintenance scheduled, it'd be best if end users were informed in advance

It has great capture and screen shot capability. It has very nice dashboard and features. I like how you can set price for each project

Cons

I wanted a feature to control the time spent for every project every week which is not on this software.

It's very versatile, allows you to track your work in many different ways.

Cons

I use hubstaff for myself - but I would never join a company that uses Hubstaff. It allows the manager to take screenshots of your computer without your knowledge - that is frightening & extremely invasive. If your team uses Hubstaff, quit now - no matter how much they pay, it's not worth it.

I also installed hubstaff in my other laptop and it automatically continues the time where I left from my main laptop. And it always sends reports the day after.

Cons

So far, I have no complaints whatsoever. Hubstaff is pretty much convenient for a remote worker like me.

Pros

It integrates with many other apps, which is great. We were especially excited about the Asana integration since that is what we use for task management. The screenshots feature is very useful!

Cons

It is not all that intuitive, which mean sometimes finding the right feature or knowing how to get something working properly can be a challenge

We tried this application for a couple months and did not work for our organization.

Pros

The Widgets located on the Dashboard and being able to see Project Budgets in real time.

Cons

The syncing to other applications function. I had many issues with application syncing and/or user use. Additionally, the PTO items can only accrue time in a specific way, which does not really allow the Company to arrange employee PTO accrual in a custom way.

The client application is a very good feature, and it's available for mobile devices too. Ohh and it's has an API too, so you can integrate it to your application or workflow if needed.

Great time tracking features.

Pros

Hubstaff makes it easy for us to track our remote team and ensure they are only working the hours they need to. It's great to be able to track the different projects accurately. We have a big focus on work life balance and we want to ensure our staff aren't putting in too many hours. If they are we can discuss and mitigate this. The desktop application is also great for me as the director to see where my time is actually going across our projects.

Cons

The invoicing component is not very useful, however being able to hook into other invoicing systems makes this mostly a mute point.
