Pros

Its very complete with there features, and also have a software to control de time that is very practical.

Cons

It have so many features that you may no need and make the platform complicated. The navigation is not so intuitive and friendly.

It is easier for me to track how accurate developers in estimating their issues. Also report shows how much time team worked per day.

Pros

Integration with JIRA. Developers love ability to select issue and track time against it. They don't need to search for issues assigned to them.

Cons

Lack of plan options. Our company needs integration with JIRA, but not the rest options like monitor tracking, activity tracking, payment throught hubstaff.

I had a chance to test almost every tracking software out there and had a lot of letdowns, mostly with people not being able to install and use the tracking software. HubStaff hasn't given any trouble and the Asana integration is a blessing.

Pros

Great, and I mean great, customer support. Lots of integrations with services like Asana. Great reporting platform.

Cons

Fixed plans, can't have a plan for 8 people for example.

Pros

Thats helps everyone to focus in a priority task and let you know the exact description of what to do

Cons

I dont like that when I change task it takes an screen shot cause it thinks am not going to work any more, and all the time in that screen shot always appear the hubstaff dashboard and not the screen of my work

Simple software, easy to use, great reporting!

Cons

Takes time to understand how to run reports, but once you learn its simple. Screenshots are staggered and hard to understand when the person is using more then one screen.

I work remotly, so this is perfect for me.

Pros

you can track the productivity and total worked hours.

Cons

the productivity % is based on mouse movement and keystrokes. As a developer sometimes I'm just thinking about the solution, writing diagrams or notes at my notebook or letting this run, like compile stuff or download libraries. These actions are part of my job and is reflected as if I was not working.

Pros

I like the choice of having different subscription models and offers based on the business need. Also, the navigation and icon labels make the site easy to use and improves the users wayfinding.

Cons

The chat bot is too persistent and gets in the way of navigating until you manually have to close it. Also, Workfront is not on the list of integrations.

Pros

I like being able to track and monitor our virtual assistant to make sure she is working the tasks assigned to her and it allows me to track her hours and time sheet very effectively

Cons

I havent had any issues to report but I guess It would be nice to also have video records of the screen shots as well to watch the tasks being done sometimes

Hubstaff is a fully-featured program for tracking contractors and others with billable hours.

Pros

Its clean interface is great for generating reports to ensure you're billing accurately. Furthermore, I love that it has apps for Mac, Windows and Linux!

Cons

Hubstaff is more expensive than others in the space, however I think that the enhanced functionality is worth it.

I no longer have to worry or wonder if my remotely located team members are working and logging hours correctly. A far cry from doing everything manually.

Pros

It took me about 3 minutes to set everything up and get it over to my team member so he could begin using it.

Cons

I can't think of anything about HubStaff that I find to be a Con. I've even had good experiences with support.

Overall, I would recommend Hubstaff.

Pros

The time tracking feature works great, and so does finding most data - week over week costs, etc. I'm currently only managing one person through Hubstaff, but I'm sure it would work well for a larger distributed team.

Cons

The one complaint I have is that I've had difficulty finding a spot where I can see my spending over the entire year. That would be an extremely useful feature.

Very easy to use and report time worked, haven't had any major issues.

Pros

Easy use and haven't had any issues with it not capturing time worked ever.

Cons

If you make a mistake and forget to start your timer, OR stop it and need to adjust your time, its hard to do within the app. Its easier to log in on desktop and make the change if needed; but this should be easier to do in the app.
