Pros

Easy to track my time, identifies idle time and suggests deletion of idle time, you can add manual time easily

Cons

Dashboard can be improved to make it easier to see total hours by month or by week without having to enter filter criteria as summing up a month

Cons

The main hubstaff site can be difficult to navigate; but once you learn where you need to go, this problem dissipates.

A very comfortable way to track work in a reliable way. Not only allows you to keep track of your hours, but also it records the story of what you are doing and how productive you can be while on shift. It's definitely an app worth getting.

Cons

Nothing really, the app is very user-friendly and allows you to do everything you imagine.

Pros

Pros : 1. Hubstaff has a nice , east to understand and intuitive interface. 2. Easily tracks activity levels ( keystrokes and clicks per minute) etc. 3. Compatible with various 3rd party applications .

Cons

1Every time the app takes a screenshot, your freelancer is notified. He can choose to approve or reject the screenshot if he rejects it, you'll never see it. 2Freelancers can also turn on privacy mode, which means you can't see their logged screenshots and activity. 3While these features give your workers a greater sense of control, they also mean that you can't be 100% certain that what you're seeing is accurate.

Thanks for the review Robin. Our app does not notify the user when screenshots are taken, it occurs randomly, they can also be turned off if you prefer not to track users in this way. There is not a privacy mode, so there could be some confusion with another product here. Let us know how we can help!

Support for linux is not upto date, and app for linux are very slow to start, like 20 seconds after to click for opening it.

Hubstaff does what it says. Its probably the best software out there to monitor employee productivity. I am able to monitor my team's productivity effectively and suggest each of them ways to enhance their productivity.

Pros

Easy to use Enough options for ensuring that time tracking works fine for each project

Cons

Didn't find any drawback as such. Everything works fine for me.

Pros

I liked that it was easy to track what I had done and prove that I needed to be paid for the hours I had done.

Cons

I thought that it was easy to use, but didn’t do much more than track hours. It is hard to say if this was the best tool to use on a larger scale.

Everything has been great with our experience with Hubstaff. It replaced a prior software that was a bit robust for what we were looking for.

Pros

The ease of use and wonderful customer service. I like this as an alternative to our prior platform am as well as our contractors prefer it.

Cons

It is hard to see past payroll amounts without digging into the software. I don't like how we have to pay more based on seats. It would be nice if the tiers were a little more relevant to small business and not large clients with a large contractor force.

Employees are aware that they are monitored. Which in turn increase their productivity by not slacking off the job. For me, It gives assurance what you work will be paid.

Pros

Able to track time and productivity while capturing the screen. Not too invasive as user has the option to turn off.

Cons

Nothing i can think of right now. Maybe the productivity report.

Pros

This software started from last three year in our organization. If a developer want to work from home then he/she have to work through HubStaff. This tool will take the screenshot in every 10 minutes and log you activity with ideal time and give the percentage of total productivity work. So don't worry for remotely working.

Cons

We didn't find the Cons in this product. Apart from the point if a user login with a ID, at the same time another user can use same ID. Then it will log only one user detail.

Cons

Sometimes the website does not load and the client does not refresh. I have contacted support and tried all sorts of remedies to no avail. My temporary workaround is I just restart my laptop when those issues happen

Pros

You can download it very fast, You track your time in an effective manner.

Cons

sometimes is tricky when it riddles you 5 times from your work schedule if you do not move your mouse.

Pros

I like how there is a status bar put on the top of your desktop so you are always aware of how much time is being spent on a certain project.

Cons

There have been a couple of times when my clock stopped working without my knowing and when I was on hourly, my hours would be skewed.

I like that I can use as a Chrome extension as well, so I don't have to download the program when I'm not using my computer. :)

Cons

I have no complains, really. I have been using it for less than 6 months, because my bosses asked to, but I like it, I find it easy to use and didn't have any problems so far.
