Hubstaff has been a crucial time-tracking software for us. It helps us ensure that we're billing correctly based on the amount of time we're spending and also has allowed us to track employees time more effectively. We found recently that one employee wasn't using their time wisely and we never would have known without Hubstaff!

Overall this program is nice but not necessarily the best. I like what it can do for my needs, but someone more advanced is probably better off with a different software.

Pros

Great way to monitor keystrokes and add time sheets for employees. This software also offers the option to screenshot while monitoring another system.

Cons

There are more advanced systems than this as you can only track certain things and there is not IP address restrictions.

Pros

What I like most about the software is that I get updates with freelance jobs that are tailored to my line of work.

Cons

What I like least about the software is that in order to get full access to more necessary functions, I have to pay a subscription fee, which is understandable. But as a startup business it is difficult to come up with those funds.

Being able to track my employees time.

Pros

It seems to do everything, and I never used 90% of what it's capable of. So I know there's more than what I needed there. I like being able to track my employee's time. That's the main thing I wanted it for.

Cons

I could never seem to hook up Paypal to work with it, so that was a bummer. Also, it's really confusing simply because I didn't need so much of what you offer.

Most i like about the software is yhe ability to connect with your colleagues and hires. They track the time spent and to be sure it's utilizing time for the project.

Cons

Not negative ideas, but it would be helpful to gain more time to learn and seek additional tutorials on the program.

HubStaff is easy to use, and reliable. I certainly can't complain. It gets the job done as I'm getting my job done. So, strong pros in terms of efficiency, reliability and trust there - probably the most important aspects of this type of software. The only con I can think of is that its interface isn't always the most intuitive. It can take some clicking around before finding what you need. (But they do have a video tour upon sign-up; for those of us who skip instructions, however, it'll take some click time to get a full grasp of the program's interface.)

Definitely makes it easy to keep track of all projects and time, and I like the fact that it tells you exactly what you worked on and how long. All the info is easy to access.

Pros

I really like the timer and itemized project features. I like that it takes screenshots without annoying you while you work.

Cons

It did take me a bit to figure out how to use it, and sometimes I can't get the timer to start right away or on the correct project.

Detailed features are not clearly explained in tips. I wish it had toolboxes or hovering tips for some details.

It's much easier to take care of my employees and how much they've worked. Due to that, it's super easy to know how much to pay them and the administration effort has overall been decreased

Pros

It's very convenient that HubStaff is collecting snapshots to easily monitor your employees/VAs work. Also, I do like the software which captures the exact time people have worked. Besides that, it even has a timeout functionality.

Cons

The date ranges are pretty limited. E.g if I'd like to see how much work has been done by an employee within the last month, I need to calculate that by myself by selecting "last 7 days" several times.

This software makes working remotely so easy! I definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to outsource or hire someone in another country. It's an easy way to track the amount of hours worked if you're paying or receiving payment for an hourly rate. It's completely transparent and works great!

This is amazing project to track the working hours of any person who is working with remotely from home or other place. In this tool, we can verified the total activity log of a person . How many time a person is active or idle . This tool also provide the screen shot after 10 minutes so that we can check the work on screen shot. If a user is idle then he/she can pause the logging hour for some time and start again once work resume. we can generate the daily or monthly report of working hours in this tool.
