Since I work across both Mac, Linux and sometimes Windows it's been very important for me to have a time recording tool that works across all platforms. August 13, 2015 4.0 We are a small company (6 users) and we use it to calculate time on projects. With the desktop app, it's a no brainer to use. Very easy to implement and the people didn't need much formation to be able to run it. It also has this screenshot feature that can track all your projects and activities during our 8-hour-movements on the job that I thought was the genius. This app works magic. It is just great. I know when I'm not available, my employees are working at their full potential. 2. Employees are 3x more productive. We are closing wayy more tasks than we used to before using Hubstaff. July 4, 2018 4.0 Great for tracking employee productivity and staying on top of payroll. Pros Hubstaff has some nice features. You can add your employees to the system and have them track time with screenshots. It automatically tracks their work and keeps track of their compensation. Cons There is really no way to automate the payroll if you don't have access to PayPal MassPay. PayPal approves accounts manually for MassPay and payroll is NOT an approved use of the tool (even though HubStaff offers it). They have other options for auto payments but none of them are viable so I end up processing payments manually. Review Source DC Daniel C. I was able to monitor and see multiple freelancers at once and know exactly how many hours they worked. This helps monitor the remote work and also the remote worker knows the fact. Thus, helps increase productivity and compliance. Cons If the satff does not turn it on, one will not know what has been done/achieved by the staff. Since I work for an agency, it was easy to figure out how long projects take so we can charge accordingly. Cons Hubstaff slows my computer down too much to use it. I would love to try to continue to use it but it just doesn't make sense for my workflow. Possibly conflicts with Adobe? I easily can log in and out of the app and I have not yet encountered any issues - at all. I messaged customer support once and expected to be replied to by the next day, did not expect that they would reply the next hour. Very good service indeed. Pros Very easy to use and very friendly User Interface. Cons I think, only that I cannot change the colors other than that it's pretty wonderful. It motivates them to keep on task and allows me to see if they're on the right track and could benefit from feedback. Cons I have no complaints really. It works great.
