Pros

When we were looking to update our church management software we wanted something that was easy to use, easily accessible from multiple platforms, and simple. When we discovered Breeze we knew it looked like a good fit. Once we contacted them we knew we were right. The founder is always an email away and usually answers questions in a matter of minutes. Breeze is so easy to use its almost unbelievable. Everything that we need is here. And we have Breeze always willing to listen if we have an idea for an additional feature. We love Breeze!

Cons

Honestly after 9 months with Breeze, we don't have any complaints. They are a great fit for our church.

### "My First Impressions using Breeze"

In a previous setting I found the lack of interface between the ChMS, the online giving processor and the available reports to be very problematic. It looks like that is not going to be a problem with Breeze. Also, Give by Text is an addition that we did not previously use.

Pros

Our experience thus far with Breeze has been very rewarding. The customer support is unparalleled in response time. The program is easy to use and very intuitive. We just set up online giving and it was an easy task with excellent support all the way. I especially like the way that the online giving process interfaces with Breeze. I will save you the obvious, and oft used "it's a breeze" comment. Compared to previous ChMS experiences, I no longer feel like "I am sailing in a storm"

Cons

So far I haven't really been able to get in to, or define, preset reports that I will use frequently.

Pros

Breeze was super easy to setup and they helped us with importing our membership data. We're a small church with a small staff, so we don't have a lot of time to devote to database configuration and data import. We definitely made the right choice when we selected Breeze for our church management system.

Cons

Have not found a Con yet. We looked into importing our membership data ourselves, but decided to let Breeze do it since they do it for no charge.

Reason for choosing Tithely Church Management

It did everything we needed, the cost was affordable, and it appeared to be easy to setup.

We were able to finally manage our member data, giving, and forms all in one place and have them work together. We are also using it for our children's ministry now

Pros

I like how intuitive it is, everything just "makes sense". When we started looking for church management software we tried several others and had a nightmare setting them up. When we did, it seemed like each one was trying to be a "jack of all trades" as opposed to a church management application, Breeze is designed FOR churches.

Pros

Breeze ChMS made it easy to catalogue, search, and sort all the information I needed about parishioners. The ability to interface with pre-existing online giving solutions was also great.

Cons

While Breeze does allow you to both text and email contacts, it does not have the capability to send the same message to some people via text and others via email as some other products do. It also doesn't have any way to call a number of users directly from the service, a must in my congregation of mostly older, less tech savvy parishioners. In addition, the email composition tool seemed fairly limited.

The user interface, it is great. The customer service is fantastic and the ease of use is wonderful. I highly recommend this product

Cons

Can't think of anything. To be honest this is the best product we have used. It has helped us get organized and stay on top of people. Just love it.

I am a volunteer at Westbrooke Church and a part of the communications team. We have been using Breeze Church Management System for the last 6 months. It is a very intuitive system that puts communication information and tools in the hands of not only the church staff, but to ministry leaders and volunteers as well. Breeze has provided us an affordable and simple way to organize, track, communicate, and report our church directory, giving, events, and so much more! We are excited to be using Breeze at Westbrooke Church!

Pros

Affordability, intuitive to use, can talk to a real person for support, full online reference support and videos.

Cons

Simple, so some features are not as detailed or robust, but with the continued updates, many features have improved with more options. Volunteer Scheduling might be the only feature to consider major improvements to make it easier to use, but it works nonetheless.

We use it for a lot of document related tasks, which often means working on large monitors. The UI doesn't scale with your browser window, so things are often at the extreme sides of the screen. Great for some basic project management, haven't found it the easiest to scale for very large projects.

Pros

\- Easy to use and learn - Clear, definable sections - Integrates well with other tools used for more immediate messaging (like Slack) - Great for when you need straightforward task management

Cons

\- Activity can get a little blurry, especially with large teams - Filters don't always show every relevant task when selected - The Progress charts don't seem like they'll be useful for most

The fundamental purpose of a church Management program is to help the pastor meet the needs of his people. I would have to say that breeze is a great help in this.

Pros

The developers of this program seemed to have anticipated most of the things that I want to do for the church. They have made it simple and left out things that I don't use.

Cons

Probably the thing that I miss is the ability to scroll from record to record when I am looking at an individual's page.

Having the entire staff able to see all the info they need online is a game changer for us. Our last software was only on my desk top. They have been available to answer questions quickly.

Pros

I liked the fact that it is an online software so that all the staff have access all the time. You can give each member of the staff and volunteers access to what they need to do their job well. I also like the price. It's a great deal for the money.

Cons

I haven't found anything I dislike so far.

The process for putting Anonymous attendance figures in takes too many steps and it's not obvious how to do it.

Breeze's customer service is bar none. We have no ever experienced anything like it. One customer service agent even made me my own video to walk me through a particular task. They are patient and kind and very knowledgeable.

Pros

We are still getting to know this software but so far we like the ease of tracking donations, the text to give option, registering people for events, checking in our youth and the wildly flexible ability to limit what individuals can see.

Cons

At this point, we haven't discovered anything we haven't liked.

### "It's so easy...It's a BREEZE!"

I've used other ChMS, in large churches. When I joined the team at a local church and discovered their type of record keeping, I was shocked! Sticky notes, bits of paper, notations written on the inside of folders. When I asked why a ChMS wasn't being used, I was told the staff was too busy to maintain one...and that the budget wouldn't allow a costly system. Upon discovering Breeze, I encouraged the church to consider it. The lead pastor was immediately impressed with Breeze's offerings! He was "sold" upon learning the monthly cost of Breeze could be saved by discontinuing "upgrades" and modules of other software they were using! I was able to move all the data into Breeze myself, build a small data entry team of volunteers, and establish a dependency on Breeze within just two weeks of signing on! The staff did not have to sit through hours of training, hundreds of recorded videos, or Q and A sessions! They logged in and were able to do what they needed with little to no assistance!

Pros

Ease of use, low cost, quick support, remote check-in.

Cons

I would like to have more control when merging two records (for instance, if I want to keep the cell phone number of Person #1 while keeping the mailing address of Person #2). Currently, all data of one record replaces all data of another record when merging.

Pros

I know of no other affordable program for Associations of churches. However Breeze is so adaptable, that I have easily adapted it to associational needs. For instance, simply adding a church field allows me to link every person to a particular church in our association. I have made other such adjustments easily.

Cons

You might consider adding one step when sending out emails. Once I did a search and desired to send an email to 5 people on my Database. I had to back out of the email and get a piece of information elsewhere, and when I came back to the email, I managed to send the email to the entire database! (Embarrassing!) A confirmation step before sending the email stating that the email only goes to the selected group would help.

Pros

All the tags allowing us to be even more productive in communication.

Cons

The lack of ability to “add” a visitor while doing check in. It does anonymous so the count is correct but the person can’t be added at that time. Also, the fact that a leader has to have 2 accounts. One as leader and another as a member to be able to “give online”.

Customization - we are a foster care resource center & finding a CRM that worked for us was challenging. Breeze made it, well, a breeze!

Cons

It's a "church management" software but we aren't a church. I would change the email reply that comes from "Breeze Church Management" as that's confusing to our clients.

As an administrator at my church who helped implement our first database ever (Breeze), I have thoroughly enjoyed the simplicity of the system that enables me to train church members how to use it without needing an extensive background in web design or other coding uses.

Pros

Easy to use. All modules available at the flat-rate. Immediate response from a human on their customer support team.

Cons

Breeze is not as customizable or flexible as other platforms.

This software is sooo easy to use and has provided us a ton of organizational function that we were using spreadsheets for or just simply didn’t have.

Cons

I have a couple wish list items I would like to see like a better way to track attendance as a lot of our folks don’t want to “check in”, but they are steadily upgrading functionality all of the time.
