I needed to organize a moderate amount of data in tandem with others, but can get overwhelmed by an overly complex interface, or frustrated with an uninspired one. I came to PipeDrive after losing a designer of a custom database and resigning myself to something off the shelf. I would not have appreciated just how well-reasoned PipeDrive is until I had tried to build something better myself. There are added options that would better suit my particular use, but PipeDrive itself is top notch and a joy to use.

Nice contact integration with gmail. Ease to use, don´t get lose among prospects and potencials customers. Perfect for sales teams.

Cons

Few customization possibilities and user permissions and actions options. Filtering results are a little confusing

It's intuitive and you can easily set up everything on the platform. No need to have a salesops in your team to manage your CRM (like with Salesforce).

Pros

There is a lot of different features and it allows to do more advanced things around sales process. Pipedrive also allows to integrate it with other cool tools.

Cons

It takes a little bit to get know that software and feel comfortable about using it.

Pros

Has exactly the functions I need. Very easy to use. No functions which distract from the essentials.

Cons

Some functions, e.g editing values in the table view sometimes is a little messy. At least in the browser which I use. Might work better with others, but I haven't tried!

Having experience with both Commence and SalesForce, I was looking for a system that was lighter on the input. While working with canvas sale or any other type of sale for that matter, it can be difficult at times to share your attention between your customer and the CRM. Pipedrive offers you an easy and intuitive CRM with more time for your sales tasks while sampling ample data for your sales team to work on.

Pros

Multi platform - great while on the road. I like the map view especially.

We used Pipedrive at the beginning of our sales journey and were very happy with it, as it is user-friendly with a very nice interface and it was also good value for money. Currently, we moved to another CRM, because our sales process became more complex and the team got bigger, so Pipedrive started to miss many functionalities that were important to us. I would recommend it to everyone needing a simple cost effective solution at the begging of their journey.

Pros

This has to be the easiest CRM to setup and use. It is very functional and I did really enjoy the colour coding system. So you clearly know what needed to be done that day by the Green button, red was outstanding etc.

Cons

Not sure if it was just the level of access we paid for but the reporting features were definitely lack luster and it was hard to manage the sales team with a huge gap in data. It doesn't have a ton of customization which I was used to with SFDC.

Pros

The product is simple to use and still has all the features needed. Good mobile apps and Zapier integrations that we use. Have used this in tow different companies and always recommend it to others. Have tried other options like Salesforce etc. None have come even close to Pipedrive. The Pipedrive has also a great humor that you can see in their videos and update explanations.

Cons

There are still things to improve. But they are minor things, and Pipedrive is doing positive changes with and good pace.

We reviewed all major CRM options including SalesForce when choosing what to use at startup our oil and gas firm. PipeDrive blew everything else out of the water on both an absolute and a cost-adjusted basis. As a new firm looking for transactions, we are actively sourcing and originating investment opportunities in oil and gas assets. PipeDrive allows us to keep track of every deal as it moves through our pipeline, every counter party interaction we have and every organizational initiative we are deploying. This tool is not only for sales-focused organizations. It works wonders for companies that are simply looking to keep track of their relationships and projects. On areas for improvement, we have made several suggestions for very simple improvements to the customer service team and, while they have acknowledged that the suggestions would be helpful, they have taken no action. The suggestions include the ability to tag multiple deals and people on an event/interaction/update and the ability to generate e-mails to specific people for a particular update (as opposed to the whole team of followers). I imagine these are relatively easy fixes but my suggestions have not been listened to. Overall, amazing product at a great price.

Pipedrive is a sales kanban on steroids. It was very helpful not only for the sales team to track their leads but also for other members like me who need visibility on who the company is working with at any given time.

Pros

I am not a salesperson but my work requires me to check on my client Pipeline account at least every week. That said, I like how Pipedrive is user-friendly. It took less than an hour for the BD Lead to walk me through the features of the app.

Cons

One limitation of Pipedrive is limited customization. The team was, however, able to find a way to work around this limitation.

I just wanted a database to log all off my calls and customers. I didn't want a lot of fuss just what I needed and after much searching I chose pipe drive it's simple to use, hold all my customer info and emails sent. Rather than having a lot of complex things I don't need it gives me what I need.

I would like more than just loose or win I would like to be able to have a category for those that are going to take up to a year to win so I don't forget them

A useable CRM that doesn't take more effort than it's worth.

Pros

Simple, not cluttered. The pipeline to is an effective way to quickly track progress of deals. I recommend highly over cluttered systems like Salesforce.

Cons

Takes awhile to figure out setup. The setup is easy once you understand the flow of the system. Reports could be formatted better and the email link tool doesn't seem to add to activity stats. Would love more integrations.

The company could track some items and use it for reminders but a lot of our apps wouldn't work with the program.

Cons

We couldn't incorporate the phone system to record calls for internal use and had problems adding the email list and be able to keep track of everything.

When we started Housing Anywhere our CRM information and all the sales related information. were kept into Excel files. Taking also into account that our personnel was part time in the very start and constantly changing we had to do something to change this. Pipedrive was a real solution coming from heaven. Simplicity and features that make your work easier and much more organised are the components that make Pipedrive a great app. We can now review all the info about our sales persons and putting our focus on the most important issues and clients. Also the mobile app is really good. Not to mention the integration of contact with Mailchimp.
