Again, I love the usefulness of ST. I would definitely recommend it to any company.

Pros

the invoicing of each job is super easy to use. I love the fact that you can see when the customer views the invoice.

Cons

The syncing with Sage 100 sometimes has its issues. Not syncing with the appropriate codes, is a hassle. There are a lot of work arounds we have to use for it come out correctly coded.

The overall experience has been very positive. I have found Service Trade easy to use and made my work more productive.

Pros

The professionalism presented to the customer. With the Service Trade platform all of our admin is streamlined from the office to the field and back again. It leads to timely information to the right places, and helps us present a very positive and professional image to our customers. Consistently.

Cons

The complaint is less of Service Trade and more a systemic problem routes in the reliance of mobile data. When cellular coverage is marginal or lacking it bogs the program down.

I am very happy with the intregration progress, and the support given to us from the onboarding team. They are very helpful. They don't leave you once you go live. Support is always a click away and they are very quick to respond.

Cons

I feel the way interacts with Quick Books could be better. We were lead to believe ServiceTrade would "talk" to Quick Books better than it does.

### "Great Product with Areas to Improve"

Pros

I really think that this product makes the scheduling and dispatching side of our work very easy and quick. It cuts out a lot of time wasted on communication by giving us the ability to access/schedule from anywhere and connect with our techs and customers in an instant. Referring back to past completed jobs and keeping tabs on job history of when/who/what as well as deficiencies has never been easier.

Cons

While this application makes dispatching and scheduling so much easier, it is lacking in almost every other area that makes a business run and does not make the integration process easy, so we find ourselves using multiple different apps when we'd prefer to just use as our primary for everything including accounting and billing. My biggest gripe is that there should be an option to set up notifications for things like New Deficiencies Added and upcoming contracts about to expire. A simple but accessible Admin Mobile App would also be a huge bonus so that we can schedule, add comments to locations, or view deficiencies on the go.

Love service trade! This makes my job so much easier! And also the technicians job a lot easier as well!!

Pros

What I love most about service trade is how easy it is to schedule jobs on service trade. Also, when you put an account in the first time, it saves the account so the following year you do not have to re enter the account information. Also, what I like is that you can look up an account just by the address. Super helpful, and that the map showing what jobs are already on the schedule and each person has their own color pin.

Cons

The only thing is that sometimes when you go to edit a job, when you click and move the mouse over the typed information, the window will close. Not all the time but once in a while.

Continued education seems to be a big issue for us, it's mostly because of our internal complex workflow but a general educational workshop would be great. I've gone through the certification process a few months ago and those seemed a bit dated as well.

From our introduction to almost 2 years later Service Trade has been reliable and trustworthy partner to help us achieve our business goals. The additional features and offerings they have introduced proves they are dedicated to helping us succeed.

Pros

The ease for our clients to access information about upcoming and past servie visits along with information by each of their assets has been a differentiator. Our service support team and servie technicians praise Service Trade because it is much easier to use compared to our previous software.

Cons

Flexibility with tasking forms is not the greatest but manageable, Servie Trade is being a great partner by listening to us along with working with us to improve this. Integration to our existing ERP doesn’t exist but Servie Trade has worked closely with us to deploy alternative methods.

### "Service Trade Good and Bad "

I would say that we are happy overall with the ability of the tool. Especially when it comes to dispatch service, service quoting. We are lacking on the service contract, installation management and service inspection forms. We also would really like to have more reporting available. The account management and attention from our account manager \[sensitive content hidden\] has been excellent and he has been an advocate for our business.

Pros

Service Trade is a great tool for dispatch and management of our service business. We are looking for ways to utilize the system to also manage our construction and job costing of our installation business. We are finding that at times it is not as intuitive as we would like to create and utilize data reports from ST. The only way to do this to add a subscription for engineers to build the reports or go to the Enterprise which for a small business is difficult.

Cons

Some of the features are not quite ready like Service Forms or project management. We have also had some issues with getting parts ledger working 100% and this was not realized until we have gone live with the system. We woudl also like to have the ability to pull live reports to manage our business and don't feel this should require enterprise account if the reporting is already created and available.

Tracking past present and future jobs is critical to our company. This helps us stay better organized.

Pros

Being able to Tracy past present and future jobs and the notes and paperwork that are attached to those jobs. I am constantly using previous reports and notes from each customer to inspect and troubleshoot.

Cons

The cost of retrofitting our inspection forms into service trade forms. With how expensive this app is that is something that should be included not an up charge. There are a lot of feature we could use that Service trade offers but they are too expensive of upgrades. The app also freezes and glitches a lot on tablet mode. I cannot have the customers sign the work acknowledgment because it is not compatible with windows computers and then is too small of a box on my iPhone.

Overall its revamped the way we do business and has vastly improved the accuracy in which we do things. Checking history or creating quotes is much faster and has cut down on time. Being able to look over all things done within time frames is great for tracking techs and productivity.

Pros

I like the history and scheduling components most. We use it as our main interface for the company and 90% of what we do is all done through service trade and service trade add ons

Cons

Problems with information being added to jobs on occasion is frustrating, some problems with getting things on or off of invoices when transferring from a job.

ST has helped our start up company manage our quick growth. We would not be providing a great overall customer experience with it.

Pros

This software was created and is organized by people in the service industry. This is huge for me. They think like we do.

Cons

When we were sold this product, one of the really great selling features was the Chat Help. You have since downgraded this to an email tech support. (but cost stayed the same). As a result, there is an increased lag in response and no 2-way conversation. Just like the rest of your competition.

We are extremely happy with the product and team.

Pros

is easy to use for everyone in our company. This includes field technicians on the mobile app, schedulers, billers, managers, sales, and corporate users. ServiceTrade helps us track recurring services so that inspections are not missed. With deficiency tracking, they make it simple to quote repairs as soon as they're located and get the issues resolved for customers more quickly. The Service Portal for customers allows them to see their inspection reports, photos, job history, and upcoming appointments at a glance.Their support team is always friendly, quick with their responses, and helpful. Behind the scenes, their developers work quickly and thoroughly to ensure that new features are built as requested, tested, and then rolled out with minimal errors.

Cons

It would be nice for the mobile app and web versions to automatically log users out after a certain period of inactivity. We have found that some technicians have not logged out in several months, which is usually the root cause of mobile app glitches they experience.

Pros

There are so many things I love about Service Trade!! One of my favorite things is being able to see all of the jobs at one location all on the same screen! That way I can look at all of the jobs & pick which one I want to look at. If it's not the one I need I can go back to the location screen & look at the other jobs. Sometimes I have to look at other jobs to get correct paperwork or pictures. So this feature makes my job a lot easier. I like how we can put helpful or important notes in the description box & it's the first thing you see when you bring the job up. It's such a time saver to be able to look at when the tech's clock in & out of jobs so you can see how long they drove & where on site by looking at the Clock Events quickly. The map on the main screen of the job helps us determine locations & directions. The techs being able upload their required paperwork & pictures at the job site is a life saver! We used to do everything the hard way. Our techs would have to bring the physical paperwork back to the office for us to scan into the computer. And the picture issue was a nightmare trying to get them non-digitally. My job location may be changing & my scared that they are not going to have Service Trade & I will have to go back to the dinosaur ages again to take care of the paperwork & pictures. My job without Service Trade would be miserable!

Cons

I can not hardly think of anything that I don't like about Service Trade! Every once in a while I can see a paper that a tech uploaded, but when you try to open it to the full screen it will just be white & there is no paper, so then I can't save it. And sometimes it will not let you adjust a paper or picture with the dragging the corners feature. But those things only happen like 1 time a month, if that.

Pros

One of the things I liked most about was its comprehensive service management features. The software provided a robust set of tools for managing service orders, scheduling appointments, and tracking service activities. The ability to create detailed job records, capture customer signatures, and generate professional invoices streamlined the entire service workflow. Additionally, the integration with mobile devices allowed technicians to access and update information in real-time, improving communication and efficiency.

Cons

One thing I liked least was the complexity of the user interface. The software offered extensive functionalities, but the interface could sometimes feel overwhelming, especially for new users. Navigating through various features and settings required some learning curve, and it would have been helpful to have a more intuitive and simplified user interface to improve the overall user experience.

Before using we were using emailing of PDF forms on iPads to manage all our of jobs. Having ServiceTrade took our business to a whole new level and allowed us to expand into multiple offices.

Pros

has a great product that is intuitive to use. Since we subscribed 4 years ago they have continued to expand on the capabilities with updates to the software every 2-4 weeks. They are very responsive to requests for features and the customer support is super friendly and helpful. They integrate with key software companies to expand their functionality (like Intacct and Quickbooks) and they have a great API and integration with Zapier.

Cons

I hope they can continue to accelerate the addition of new features. There are a lot of companies out there trying to solve the same problems. I haven't seen anyone providing better value yet but I hope stays ahead of the competition because whoever has the best software to manage their business will hold a significant advantage int he marketplace and we would like to stay with ServiceTrade. Switching software is a pain!

### "Drop the Paper"

We love ST and cannot imagine going back to the old paper hand written work orders, phone call dispatching and having to look in multiple places for information in order to send an invoice.

Pros

The ability to provide our techs with all the info needed in one place. We can track their time via clock events, record comments, deficiencies and photos videos to prove the work was done and to a high standard.

Cons

Onboarding out technicians was difficult and we learned (after some trial and error) that proper training upfront is imperative. We have also has some issues with Time Card and glitches with the software over time.

As a busy Service Company in the HVAC/Refrigeration industry, we have a number of areas within our business. Dispatching new service calls, completing routine scheduled Preventive Maintenance visits, payroll to hours employees, commission to other employees and quoting repairs from both within and out in the field. This software does it all. I went from payroll being a nightmare of hand written time sheets and multiple days of work to running a Clock Event Report from and having my payroll done in 1-2 hours for an entire weeks worth of work. I particularly like the flow of the quoting and email notifications which keep me informed as the owner even when I am not in my office. My management and supervisors all have the ability to receive those same notifications and are already planning and proceeding with the work before I’ve even returned to my desk/office.

Pros

This software has many different features that help our business daily and combines everything needed in one software. Whether its time clocking for payroll, dispatching, re-curing jobs or quoting there are so many features to this software that continue to streamline our operations. has a modern day approach to making our service work visible to the customer with pictures/videos all combined within the digital experience that todays customers demand. We struggled with a number of other softwares in the past before finally finding ServiceTrade.

Cons

With any multi-layer software that has many features, it takes time to learn and navigate through everything that it provides. I promise you that once you cross over the initial learning curve, you will be impressed with what this software can do to help all your employee’s jobs and lesson yours as business owners.

The initial rollout was great however as fast as the program was operational, they became crickets. Updates & upgrades have caused unexplained data and functionality loss. Do not trust them. You will lose customers and employees
