I am able to use this to track and document staff performance and any incidences. Gives me a one stop shop so to speak on documentation of staff Cons Does not translate in Intuit payroll. I now just use Timesheets to track PTO. I had so many questions during the implementation and she was just fabulous! Pros My favorite feature is having both a time clock and project time tracking in one system. Our firm had been previously using one software for payroll and one for tracking client billing. Having all the info in one system allows us to reconcile everything daily and monitor things more closely. Cons There is no app for ease of use on your cell phone, but it's not that bad we all can just go to a webpage to log in. Owner Construction Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "What a flexible tool for tracking employee time" September 6, 2019 5.0 Our prior time recording system was so difficult to use and had hard and fast restrictions about when time must be recorded that my employees were frequently not getting their time in. With Timesheets I have no more complaints from my employees about how bad the timesheet software is to use and no more excuses for not getting their time recorded. It went from being one of my biggest headaches to one of the easiest administrative tasks of the week. My CPA is happier with this software as well. Pros The software is very flexible. My employees can use the clock functionality to compute their time or they can manually enter their time after the fact. I am notified about manual time entries and I am able to review everything entered before approving. Employees are happy with the software Rollout was very easy and the support from Timesheets.com for the rollout was great Cons When reviewing and approving time I feel like it is not as obvious to me of what the necessary steps are when something is unusual. It always works out, but it should be a bit clearer. Switched from [QuickBooks Time](https://www.capterra.com/p/151722/TSheets/) The software was terrible. Repeated issues with employee logins. The interface felt like it was created in 1992. It behaved inconsistently and the features were poor. October 26, 2019 5.0 Timesheets.com has been instrumental in overhauling out time tracking process for the better. It makes it so much easier than home grown tracking methods that were prone to errors and didn't provide the reporting capability. Love it! Pros This has been one of the best Time Tracking systems out there. Easy to use interface, DCAA compliant, company calendar, flexible reporting, etc. Cons We have not run into a single negative aspect of this tracking system. It has been nothing but great since we started using it. January 19, 2018 4.0 Very easy to use as an employee and as an employer. Works well all the time for just about any requirement necessary relating to timesheets. Pros I have been using this software, both as an employer and employee for a long time and have had almost no issues. The time is stored for a while and it is very easy set up and schedule different time slots. You can track attendance and use a wide array of features that are very helpful. Customer service has always been quick if an issue were to arise. Cons There are definitely not many cons, if any. It has been a very positive experience and allows me to bill clients with ease and provide supporting documentation in a report format. Pros it is an easy to use tool that allows me to track my time and include notes about the tasks completed and I can use that for supporting documentation to bill my clients. I have also used it in the past for tracking time for my own employees. Cons I have not found anything I do not like. I also like that I can set cost and bill rates for each person, and for each project. That flexibility is important in a consulting environment. Cons I would really like the ability to copy profiles or create profile templates for setting up new users. It's tedious going through each new user profile to set all the parameters and permissions, when they are the same as many existing users. I would also like to be able to give supervisors access to view specific employees, even if they are not under their direct chain of command. Or for them to be able to view all hours entered for a specific project. (Often, the person managing a project is not necessarily the supervisor for all employees on the project. Pros Timesheets is an excellect system to track employees work hours and expenses. Also their employee scheduling system is easy to use. Most of all, they have an excellent service team. Every time I call, there is a live person to help me. They are very knowledgable, call you back if necessary, and will walk you through the steps to answer your question or solve the problem. Pros Easy of implementation, easy of use, straight to the point, excellent support, liked by users (consultants tracking their time), liked by accounting teams who can extract the billing and costing reports per client / resource / project / account code. Cons Interface is simplistic. Need to master the order to create users > customer > account code > project, otherwise everyone ends-up on every customers' timesheets. December 5, 2022 5.0 I think we're grossly under-utilizing this software. We have the ability to track job costs, job allocations and other features, that we have not used. While we're still learning all of the features, we believe this will be the tool needed for overall operational needs. Pros This is great for time-tracking, managing PTO/Holiday hours. Employees can track their own time, supervisors can approve with no issues. It's also extremely user friendly. The customized reports make it easy for payroll and auditing.
