Years of data on this laptop and I thought it was gone. Upon purchasing a new laptop and installing the Zoolz app, EVERYTHING was restored as if nothing had happened. Truly a life saver for the business user. Pros Low usage in the background, but grateful that it is there. Pros Price only less, but very less secure cloud too. So we can't use this for our personal data..We can purchase this for kids Cartoon videos saving. Cons Waste of money and not good support. I have purchased a lifetime plan on 2018. This is my 1st cloud service.But now I'm planning to delete my account. Do not purchase any life plan at Zoolz or BigMind. They will slowly add ads to your account and force it to add on for maintenance plans (annual). After the plan expires, your lifetime account will also be suspended if you do not renew it. (From my experience). If you try to contact them support will reply after repeated reminders. Reasons for choosing Zoolz I will not recommend Zoolz now on. Zools gives me protection against HDD failures, accidental deletion of files and Ransomware. Pros Highly configurable yet easy to use, reliable Cons The migration from one PC to another did not run as smoothly as expected. However, the support organisation was very helpful and they even offered me a remote session. A liile drawback is the cold storage, which requires a delay of up to several hours. Pros It's great that you can connect your phone, computer and drive and have it all in one place. Cons On my old computer I found it a little limiting the fact that I needed to have a software installed to be able to upload files on my storage. I don't know if this has now changed as I haven't used it in a while, but I'm sure there are more features I'm not aware of yet. I have reached out the the sales team a few times with questions during the migration from personal to business and it they have been quick to respond and helpful with their answers. Pros I signed up for this product because a great promotion years ago. It was a one time fee for "life". The last year the personal accounts we no longer offered so I was switched to a business account. I do have to pay now, but because of my grandfathered account you have provided me with a 90% discount, so it is still worth paying the small amount yearly to know all my data, especially pictures are backed up. Cons No, I feel like it is meeting my needs as an off-site backup for my important data. It is pretty straight forward to navigate what I have backed up.
