Pros One of the most important items for everyone to take into account when selecting a software company for your business is how well they understand your business, and that every company has unique processes that may translate into specialized reporting. Cietrade has provided an environment of being business partners and listens to your individual needs. Cons Each user can customize their cieTrade folders, which is a great plus, but when updates take place you need to reset all of your folders again. We mainly use it for dispatching, shipping, receiving, billing and invoicing. We also use it to keep track of export loads with container photos. I’d say the most useful feature for me is the ability to get all of the billing info imported into our accounting software and being able to generate a journal entry for sales, expenses and adjustments to close out the month. Anytime I’ve ever had to contact tech support, they have been very prompt in response and are always very friendly. I highly recommend cieTrade to anyone in the paper recycling industry. Cons Software updates are by customer demand only not on a scheduled release.
