Pros My recent experiences with the Help Desk have been great - they are quick to respond and will help work through an issue until is it solved. The new AI feature to create courses is pretty impressive - still needs work but it's definitely improving our courses. Cons The functionality of the emerchant does not allow an external client to place one order for multiple participants or courses. This means we have to do manual signups. We've been using it for a few years now. It's good that they continue to update the platform and offer training on how to use new features. There are also quite a few options to design courses within TalentLMS, especially with the addition of AI-integrated services like TalentCraft. Cons There are quite a few glitches with the new interface and it is taking quite a lot of time to get them sorted out from TalentLMS's side. The mobile app also desperately needs an update. This is our organization's first foray into a learning management system, and I think it has been received well. Pros I like the integration with BambooHR & the TalentLibrary. Overall, easy to customize UI. We were able to brand the portal with our company colors, logos, and course certificates. We were able to create new courses and upload trainings. It is a fairly flexible platform. Cons The system is quite technical for reviewing information and making courses. It also can be a tad challenging to create reports that meet the exact needs I have. For example, when I see course completions each week, I am interested in seeing what courses were completed and by whom, but it is a bit deep to get to that information. Similar with the gamification elements. I think the notification delay of about 2 hours when I enroll someone in a course is also a bit odd, why not make it instant? Cons I would like to see better ability for custom reporting with more specific selection of datasets. We're already getting feedback from our users (sales people mostly from our customers) and regardless of the quality of the content, their experience compared to our previous platform is already better Pros How easy and simple creating courses and enrolling people really is. I honestly believe that any platform that benefits the user experience is good enough to give it a try but I was blown away by how simple getting things out there was. Cons Customization is a bit hard for beginners like me. This is the first time I'm the admin of a LMS, and they do have a great help / knowledge base system and sometimes I need to do some digging to get to the right answer. Luckily there's a very active community that usually points me in the right direction when I miss some of that help.
