After doing a lot of research, we created our account with TalentLMS. Once in the system, I quickly realized this software exceeded our expectations. From importing SCORM files, to creating exams, the Talent LMS system offered flexible modules and we had our entire course built in a matter of hours. In addition, customer service and support responded quickly and provided the tools we needed to complete our project. Within minutes, support increase our upload file size capability to match our large video files and is currently setting up SSL. We anticipate being customers for a long time. Talent LMS has proven to be a partner in reaching our goals and is setup to grow with us as our company grows. Cons At this point, I have no cons to the software. Good thing is that you can test it and use it for free for up to 5 users (unlimited time), also can get all of the reports about your "trainees", track the progress etc. Cons It is possible to change language for some parts of the platform, but not all of it. CS is not reachable at all. It is available live for the most expensive package but for others it is not possible to contact them even via email which is a big problem. I would like to ask many questions but that is just not possible. They have FAQ section but you can't find everything there. Pros I use this as a new employee who works remotely. The company puts all sorts of different training guides and videos online for new employees and it's allowed me to stay remote and not have to travel to the main office. It could also be used for customers to learn how to use a system without in-person training. It's a real time/people saver. Cons Like anything, it's a portal without a live person on the other end. That's not a con for the software but may come up with someone using it wanting someone to be live instead of an LMS. I looked through a lot, and landed on this one. Pros I like that there's a free version that I can use to craft out my site. Once I have it the way I need it, I can then purchase a subscription and begin using it. I also love the simple interface. It's clean, and I can alter some things using CSS and layout themes to make it my own. Cons Just because I'm on a free version, I don't get the advantage of asking support questions. I have to use the knowledge base or watch videos. That's all fine, but sometimes asking a live person a question helps me gt back to work sooner. I highly encourage any new user try it out and see for themselves. Pros TalentLMS provides a great solution to those looking train their teams or educate potential customers. Much of the work generated for my business comes from leads of knowledgeable staff located within large manufacturing facilities - This strategy allows for great internal buy-in, but requires some upfront investment through training. My team and I built training using TalentLMS and offer it on a tablet. It has great buy in from the staff at the facilities and with the feedback they provide it is incredibly easy to tailor the training and relaunch. Also being able to make accounts for each user allows for ease of tracking progress through our training mod Cons Some limitations in what I was hoping to accomplish with the software but am happy with the overall product. President Used the software for: ### "Review of TalentLMS" September 10, 2014 4.0 As nearly every other firm that utilises a learning management system, we invested about two months of time studying and testing a wide variety of LMS options. These options ranged from the purchase of an off-the-shelf system, to contracting a firm to build from the ground up, to working to modify an open source LMS (e.g., Moodle) to that of configuring specialised LMS plugins through a word press platform. We ended up choosing TalentLMS for the following reasons: Very clean, no frills interface. System is fast and responsive on all known plaftorms (we are in a developing country where internet and other IT infrastructure is lacking) Pricing is extremely reasonable Fast turnaround on queries (which continued after purchase: very responsive customer service) Periodic updates with active system for soliciting feedback and responding to customer suggestions for plaftorm improvements. Extremely fast learning curve for implementation without the need for outsourcing support to LMS technicians. Downsides: Lack of integration with google services such as hangouts and calendar Help files are still lacking in detail and sophistication Lack of gamification elements For our company, these downsides are not "deal-breakers" and probably contribute to the fact that the cost per user is quite low compared to most other providers. Conclusion: For firms that need a clean, uncluttered, minimalistic approach to their LMS: Highly recommended. 4.5 Stars. It is very reliable and easy to use, it saved me money where we had to send someone interstate to do an induction training for every new hired group and subcontractors. Now we just provide them with training in every state in Australia using Talent LMS. Talanet LMS easy to use, easy to manage. Great product thank you guys. It looks professional and offers great features (even if they are basic compared to other options). Cons It would be nice if there were expandable plans that include even more customization. Because we have set courses and tests we can be assured quality ongoing training isn't hindered if trainers leave. Pros I really like the ease of TalentLMS. We can upload documents from our food safety manual very easily and create tests at the end of each training module to ensure new staff and retraining staff are competent in our processes. As part of our food policy program our staff need to be retrained in all of our processes yearly so the results export to excel function makes our paper trail a breeze. Cons Because we really only need to upload information, set tests and reset progress yearly there's really nothing to fault for our organizations needs. Pros Being able to customize learning with videos, tests, and assignments was important to me, and TalentLMS made that very easy. The platform allows me to follow along in my clients learning, so I can add conferences at the best times, add new material when necessary, and challenge them competition. Then the fact that they added a homepage and I was able to combine my original website with talentlms made me so happy. It is fully customizable and can be adapted to your brands colors, domain, etc. Gives you comprehensible analytics about everything which is great to keep track and evaluate your training program. It supports SCORM & TinCan (xAPI). Course selling, video-conferencing, and gamification are also part of Talent LMS which makes it a really strong candidate to chose from. , extensible user profiles and more features than you can imagine. Cons It's really difficult to think about something as a con concerning Talent LMS, but it only support English, so there you have a con.
