This tool offers you a very high performance for little money compared to most more expensive options. The platform that this software is located on handles our email marketing as long as it follows all local regulations; though it occasionally gets caught off-guard by a seemingly onerous compliance rule.

Pros

I liked that the program is fairly straightforward and user friendly. Spam blocking sometimes is too aggressive and blocks legitimate emails to our corporate clients.

Cons

Sometimes customer support takes too long to answer even simple account questions. We have to make sure the people get their booking confirmation and what we are offering on our new seasonal offers without spending a fortune on it, so we need an email delivery service.

We've been using Brevo for 2 years now. As a startup company without a dedicated email marketing budget, Brevo has given us the opportunity to consistently reach more people every day. It's been a valuable tool in helping us grow our audience.

Pros

Easy to use email marketing platform. I like the way the platform is designed, from uploading of materials, insertion on the the campaign and the of course the straight forward features that is easy to understand. It is email marketer zero experienced friendly

Cons

The free account only allows sending 300 emails per day. For an email campaign where the objective is simply to blast all email contacts, it would be helpful to easily select and segment (with naming inside the master list) 300 leads with just a few clicks. This way, you can upload and send them in batches daily. I'm currently using a free account, so I'm not sure if this kind of feature is available under a subscription plan.

I have had a very positive experience thus far including a speedy response from the Brevo support team.

Pros

I was thrilled to find out that I could replace WP SMTP Mail with Brevo for all the transactional emails for my Wordpress / Woocom store, and it was easy to install and integrate. Furthermore, the pop-up form from Brevo was top class! I like it better than the Mailchimp equivalent and, once again, it was simple to design and implement.

Cons

I have no complaints at this stage. Brevo was easy enough for me - a beginner building her first website - to use.

Reason for choosing Brevo

The choice came when I could only enter DKIM & DMARC records for Brevo or Mailchimp. I then investigated Brevo further (I already knew Brevo was better for SMTP Mail and that is critical to the functioning of the site) but when I saw that Brevo also offered a pop up form in the free version, my mind was made up.

I have been trying CRM's the whole month. Eventually resorted to GPT that recomemnded 5 based on my requirments. Brevo... Good. Unless i hit a brick wall like the last ones, im bringing my clients across aswell

Pros

Easy to set up compared with last so called market leader I spent a week on. Had my list sorted and sent my campaign in a few hrs. Had some issues the Ai Assitant coulnt sort, had an email from support within a few hrs.

Cons

The Email pipeline a little learning curve, however the Ai Assistant did create one for me. Just need to spend more time

When we ran into difficulties, the support team helped us with advice and opened our eyes to the fact that it’s not just about the quantity of emails sent, but also about the content and a high-quality email list.

Pros

Simple and clear to use, with excellent support. For many companies, this is a tool that enables sales growth and the acquisition of new customers who would otherwise be out of reach—especially if you’re looking to expand into new markets. It is cost-effective and can significantly increase sales.

Cons

I can’t say that there’s anything we don’t like about it. I would just like us to have been warned sooner about the low-quality database and what that means for the delivery of marketing campaigns.

Pleasantly surprised by how much I can make use of the platform even when on the free tier - including access to customer support via email. Also happy with the integrations available.

Pros

Simple set up, easy to use interface to create emails, automations and forms. Brevo also includes a simple CRM for managing contacts and it is easy to customise views. Simple integration with WP Forms. Easy to set up SMTP with WordPress. Friendly customer service.

Cons

When using a popup form it is not possible to customise the URL for double opt-in subscribers. They are sent to a pretty unattractive grey screen with 'thanks for subscribing' in green letters. It is possible to customise the URL for the standard (non pop-up) form, and also when using the Brevo integration with WP Forms. Also sometimes the automations take longer to run than I'd expected which might cause a problem with my double opt-in automation. Having said that, it's possible that is because I'm on the free plan.

Brevo was recommended in the Reddit threads I considered. Good access to platform even on free tier. MailChimp looked pricey and I've used before so know how it feels. I've also used Hubspot which I like but which can quickly get very expensive.

Je ne suis pas pleinement satisfaite. Je dois dire que je ne change pas de logiciel par facilité et aussi parce que j'ai une flemme intersidérale de transférer tous mes fichiers mais je ne suis pas très contente globalement, ni du service client, ni vraiment du logiciel.

Peu de souplesse dans le design, la modification et l'implantation des blocs. Très très peu de typos disponibles. C'est globalement très classique comme design et comme rendu. Pas de mail anticipant le débit de l'abonnement annuel, j'avoue que je n'ai jamais vu cela ailleurs : le moyen de paiement est tout simplement débité à la date anniversaire. Un peu limite en terme de relation client. Pas de visibilité exacte sur le nombre de mails réellement délivrés, c'est une approximation. Adresse expéditeur "brevo" mentionnée à la place de l'adresse pro... alors que c'est un abonnement payant : mXXX@1728635.brevosend.com vraiment pas fou comme rendu La gestion des listes et des groupes n'est pas intuitive, et je n'ai pas vraiment accès aux fonctionnalités car je ne trouve pas réponse à mes besoins. Lorsque j'ai eu des questions et soucis notamment de manipulations à mettre en oeuvre pour que mon adresse ne soit pas considérée comme un spam, les retours etaient extrêmement techniques et le suivi peu ergonomique pour qui n'est pas ingénieur informaticien :(

Pros

Brevo is incredibly easy to use. Connecting it to my WordPress site was simple and straightforward, with no technical issues. The platform is very intuitive, and the documentation is extensive, so I can usually find everything I need without contacting support. The one time I did need help, the support team was quick, helpful, and solved my issue efficiently.

Cons

So far, I haven’t found anything negative worth mentioning. My experience has been smooth and consistent in all areas.

It meets all the functions I need, and provides a daily quota of 300 free emails, with no limit on the number of contacts. It automatically checks for duplicate emails and excludes unsubscribed emails to avoid disturbing customers who don't need to subscribe. It also makes it easy to export and import contacts. Thank you Brevo for providing high-quality services.

Cons

No downsides yet.Although the free daily quota is only 300 emails, this is definitely not a disadvantage. After all, Brevo has done a good job for free users.

Overall experience has been great. Looking forward to learning more at my own pace without the numerous bells and whistles and steep pricing that Mailchimp offered. Also happier to work with a company who is not in the Intuit family.

Pros

Offers all the essential tools for email marketing and automation. Interface is clean and fairly intuitive once you get the hang of it. Includes advanced features (like segmentation and automation workflows) at lower tiers than competitors. Extremely generous pricing, especially compared to competitors. Great value for small businesses or solo operators who want solid tools without premium costs.

Cons

Not as robust or polished as Mailchimp in terms of templates, native integrations, or UX. Some features feel slightly underdeveloped or harder to configure without guidance. Response time can be delayed—likely due to support being outside the U.S. No instant chat or phone support in some cases, so issues may take a day or two to resolve.

I didn't know Brevo, the webmaster I hired to revamp my website told me about them as he thought it was a great platform to start a mailing list (this is why I needed it in the first place) but then I was pleasantly surprised to see that Brevo also offered form creation and a booking system. I like not having to register to tons of website/products, so thanks to the diversity of the Brevo platform I can now do several things for my business on the one platform and I am very happy with it at the moment.

Pros

The fact you can already do a ton of things (form creation, mailing list and booking system) with the free version. AND The fast and detailed customer service replies (super important when you are working on a project and only have a short window of time to work on it).

Cons

There is always work do be done and improved, like any other product I believe, but to be honest, all my ideas and what I would like to see improved, seem to have been forwared to the appropriate Brevo team. One of these idea has actually been taken in account and been added to an update of their platform so now I am able to improve my booking system thanks to that improvement.

Overall, Brevo is a great platform, great UX, I’d say 9/10. And it was really easy to integrate it into my project as a developer(I used it to send emails). Would I pay for it? Definitely

Pros

There’s a couple of things. The UX is really great, I didn’t have any issues signing up the first time, or finding my way around the website. Secondly, great customer service(shoutout to \[sensitive content hidden\]). And thirdly, it definitely eased my work as a developer, integrating it into my project was a breeze.

Cons

Things do happen without warning. My account got suspended without warning(first bad experience) and I couldn’t find any immediate answers from the terms and conditions or the help page (second one). I had to reach out directly to support

### "Best Marketing List Platform for Small Businesses and Solopreneurs"

It has been flawless so far. So many plans lock away important features which means you are in a Catch 22 situation (no automations and forms = no signups = no money to upgrade!) Brevo doesn't do this, so you can build a list without worrying you're losing people. The automations are user-friendly and I have set mine up to really walk me through engagement as I have a complicated workflow (i.e., "Hey Neil, someone signed up from your website marketing list and said they were interested in your course.") I had a panic when I opened a new account without closing the old one. I tested my user journey and thought I had lost all my forms and automations. Support got back to me really quickly and solved the issue (which was of my own making!) I don't have anything bad to say about Brevo. Having tried Mailchimp and Constant Contact, I feel Brevo is much better for small businesses/solopreneurs, and I intend to stick with them and upgrade once I am in a position to.

Pros

The feature-packed free plan with automations and forms included.

Cons

Inability to select contacts from a list across pages. So if you have over 100 contacts, and you're adding multiple people to a new list, you have to select people from the first page and move them and then do the same for the second page, etc. It would be faster if you could move to the second page and all the checks stay in place from the first page. Either that, or include an option to include all contacts on one scrollable page.

I use Constant Contact for a client and their forms are inflexible and poorly integrated with lots of bugs. The sales team are also very aggressive (daily calls) and intrusive (suggesting improvements while I'm still halfway through setting up a campaign).

I have used this system over two separate positions and have always liked the simplicity of the system although I still prefer the old name :-) SendinBlue

Pros

Simple and easy to use with clear and crisp design allowing customer to feel at ease with a complex system. Lots of great video help on youtube for when you get stuck which I found useful.

Cons

Constantly having to review my plan, as used up contact limits quick, where email limits where fine. Maybe having embedded help videos to assist users.

Your support is great! I would especially like to give a big kudos to Julia. She is amazing with her consistent follow-up. Julia, even created a video, with personal narration, to walk through some possible solutions.

Pros

The pricing and the features make Brevo good value for money, especially compared to the other options out there. The free tier is perfect to get started and try out all features before moving to a paid subscription. Could not find this with any of competitors.

Cons

The WordPress plugin and email automation needs some work. The plugin in particular had some PHP errors and I am still unable to get the Double opt-in to list the correct email templates.

A Brevo manda bem na integração com n8n, facilitando automações de e-mail. A interface é intuitiva e o editor de arrastar e soltar é um dos melhores que já usei. A segmentação funciona super bem e o preço é bem mais em conta que o RD Station. Por outro lado, a documentação poderia ser mais organizadas/abrangentes e os relatórios são um pouco limitados comparados a outras ferramentas que já usei.

Pros

Amo a integração com n8n! Facilita demais criar meus fluxos de email e cadastros em sequências vindas de diferentes fontes. Interface bem intuitiva e o editor de arrastar e soltar é prático pra caramba, acho que o melhor de todos que já usei. A segmentação de audiência funciona melhor que esperava. E o preço é bem mais em conta que RD Station que era o que eu usava antes.

Cons

A documentação poderia ser melhor organizada. Passei um tempinho procurando algumas configurações básicas que deveriam ser mais fáceis de achar. Os relatórios são um pouco limitados se comparados com outras ferramentas.

O brevo é um sistema bem completo e tem funcionalidades que ajudam muito no marketing. O que mais gostei foi a simplificidade de desenvolver funil de CRM, e-mail marketing e também das automações.

Cons

A funcionalidade de conversação ainda está muito básica. Seria bacana conseguir enviar mensagens pelo painel de conversação não apenas via e-mail, mas pelo whatsApp também. Além disso, seria interessante criar uma funcionalidade de envio de audios pelo WhatsApp também e funcionalidade de chatbot.

A Hubspot é bem completa e tem diversos recursos. Porém o valor do plano é completamente incompatível. Com a Brevo eu faço as mesmas coisas que poderia fazer no Hubspot porém pago BEM menos por mês. Acredito que a Hubspot só cobra esse valor pelo nome que tem no mercado, pois por mais que seja uma boa plataforma, não acho justificável o valor cobrado.

O foco do RD é vender os planos mais caros da plataforma. Então nos planos básicos é muito limitado, não podendo aproveitar direito os recursos da plataforma. Já na brevo, com o plano grátis já consigo fazer muito mais do que a RD. Utilizo um plano pago na Brevo, porém em alguns módulos está no gratuíto, pois já me atende.

I like the CRM and that says a lot because I actually detest doing data entry. However, it's either a CRM or spreadsheet management which feels antiquated.

Pros

Amenities included like: scheduling Calendar, meetings set up, campaigns/newsletters/email services, and more that I haven't learned how to use as yet.

Cons

I don't know how to learn it. I can't find tutorials or other support. Asking questions seems to take a lot of time for submission and response. I'm a great self learner but just can't find the systems to do so.However, there are things that are challenging: I'd like to have the contacts displayed in alphabetic order for one thing; finding the 'how to learn how to use Brevo' is difficult. The Help/FAQS doesn't ever have anything useful for what I'm trying to do with Brevo in managing records and finding ways of extracting the right group of clients for needs identification. Just lots of functions that seem so very vital but no way to learn how to utilize other than trial and error which creates lots time and energy to dedicate which cause delays in productivity that equates to ROI.

Very refreshing, I always like to log into Brevo to work! The experience has been phenomenal so far and will keep using it and upgrading it as our needs grow.

Pros

Very intuitive UI, well designed and easy to use. The free tier is genuinely free and has all the functionality promised. Try it out for for up to 300 emails a day. The contacts segmentation, tactical conversations , SMS marketing and Call functions and immediate replies are a huge plus ++. Can easily bring your contacts from other CRM. You can also build your email database with sign up forms. A hell of a lot of functionality to get started with. Upgrade as you go.

Cons

A bit difficult to design email templates or import them from other tools. There are a number to get started with, but many of them don't fit the kind of emails I wanted to design.

### "Unreliable support makes the platform risky for businesses"

While Brevo offers some good features, our overall experience has been very negative. The lack of competent and responsive support overshadowed the platform’s advantages. We had to deal with serious operational problems that directly impacted our business, and we felt left alone to solve them. I cannot recommend Brevo for companies that need a dependable partner for their email marketing.

Pros

The platform itself is quite intuitive, and the campaign creation process is simple. The reporting dashboard is clear, and the automation tools are easy to use.

Cons

Customer support has been extremely disappointing. In our experience, they were unhelpful, slow to respond, and sometimes provided inaccurate information. A critical billing issue completely blocked our email sending, and the support team was unable to provide a timely or effective solution. For a business, this kind of unreliability is unacceptable.
