### "Mailchimp's smarter, more efficient cousin!"

May 15, 2026

5.0

Great. Especially after pleasantly encountering a serious, Indian (did not expect in a predominantly European product!), helpful Senior Executive who understood my concern and had a soluion ready. Setting up was easy and using the product has been a good experience.

Pros

Perfect campaign tool for SMBs. Mailchimp but more economical, more efficient. A leap foward from the original Sendinblue product, feature packed and did I say economical?

Cons

Not a dealbreaker but the UI could be more premium, features less jam packed and more integrated with actual user workflow. The pricing page is confusing. When I see Rs. 625 in bold for a starter pack, I go to checkout page expecting to pay Rs. 625. But suddenly a calcualtion showing an unreasonable gap (1500 contacts -> directly 50,000 contacts) appears on the checkout page which sort of drains a person's intent to go ahead with the purchase! The >100% of the product subscription price tag for removing branding (Rs 750 -> Rs. 625) was somewhat surprising.

### "Simple and Reliable Platform for Email Marketing"

May 27, 2026

4.0

Overall, the experience with has been positive. It helped us manage email marketing, customer engagement, and campaign communication in one place. The platform is user-friendly, reliable, and suitable for growing businesses looking for a cost-effective marketing solution.

Pros

is easy to use and works well for email campaigns and customer communication. The platform is simple to manage, and the automation features save a lot of time. It is also more affordable compared to many other tools.

Cons

Some advanced features take time to understand in the beginning. The reporting section can also be improved with more detailed insights and a smoother interface

### "Waste of my money and my time"

May 7, 2026

1.0

I have tried repeatedly to contact by both phone and email but unfortunately have received little meaningful support. Phone calls go unanswered, and there is not even an option to leave a voicemail. The email responses appear to be automated, typically asking for additional details while thanking me for my patience, despite the information already provided. At this point, I feel as though I have made a donation to the company rather than a worthwhile investment in my business.

Pros

At this point, I cannot say there is anything I have liked about . Their marketing strategy appears promising; however, their product and customer service have been virtually nonexistent.

Cons

I signed my contract with on October 22, 2025, and paid the $249.00 fee to gain access to the network. Since then, I have received only one referral, and unfortunately, it was not a valid lead. For the past several weeks, I am not even able to log into the site

### "Overall, a great experience with a new email provider"

May 19, 2026

4.0

I like the pricing, the options, the features that come with the small business tier. I also really enjoy the simplicity of creating an email from scratch and the extra design options I never got with other email providers. I like their templates, though some aspects can be difficult to edit if you don't outright remove the item and replace it with something else/start over in the area. Despite some difficulties in getting started, I consider it a learning curve and I'm very happy with everything once I got the hang of using it. Would definitely recommend.

Pros

I love the customer service and the ease of creating emails with the block builder. The operators were very helpful with getting our account verified and helping me navigate the rules, dashboard, and subscriber management. The block builder for creating emails from scratch is easy to use and has many features I enjoy. I also like some of their email template styles. They're good starters if you need a boost in creativity, but you're also welcome to just create one from scratch yourself.

Cons

The left-hand menu and contacts list. The menu is a little bulky, some things are not found where I expected them to be. Like wanting to delete non-subscribers simply by deleting a list but finding I needed to use one of many confusing filters or to delete by selecting them one at a time from contacts instead. The contact list vs. the automatically created lists can be confusing when I expected them all in one spot. I also didn't want to include any non-subscribers or "blocklisted" people to my contacts but that was automatically added when connected to our Shopify store. It had me concerned that they would charge extra or consider our tier limit exceeded because of the extra contacts that we essentially cannot use. In Shopify, I created our signup form, but when adding it to our page, it was set to the right - even though I chose "centered" and tried every other option for it as well, it always stayed at the right. At some point, I'll have to add some code to make sure it goes to the center of our page. It feels like an unnecessary step. Also, when first experimenting, the email template I tried out was somewhat difficult to edit. It had text over a photo and it was somewhat difficult to access each layer on the editor. It didn't allow me to change the photo size/shape so I had to create a new graphic just for the template.

My overall experience with has been fantastic. The tools are easy to set up for email management and marketing automation. On top of that, their customer experience team provides world-class service, making the entire user journey smooth and reliable.

Pros

May 8, 2026

5.0

Its been a long and never ending story with . It is an allround tool for my monthly email marketing which helps to keep in touch with my interactive audience.

Pros

is a cost-effective and an intuitive tool for marketing teams with best email management features. The UI and UX of the tool gives great feedback for the decision makers to create their content and send beautiful campaigns to the audience.

Cons

### "Reliable all-in-one email platform with a developer-friendly API"

April 30, 2026

5.0

Overall my experience has been excellent. handles both my transactional emails and marketing newsletters reliably, and the setup was straightforward. It does exactly what I need without forcing me into an expensive plan, and the platform has been stable in daily production use. I would happily recommend it to other developers and small business owners.

Pros

offers great value for money — the free tier is generous enough to get started without any upfront cost, which is ideal for small businesses and side projects. The API is well-documented and easy to integrate; I had transactional emails working in my Spring Boot app within an hour. The admin interface is clean and intuitive, and the drag-and-drop template editor makes it simple to design good-looking marketing campaigns without writing HTML by hand. Having both transactional email and marketing campaigns under one roof is also a big plus.

Cons

Honestly, very few complaints. The dashboard can feel a bit slow to load at times - but its my internet speed, I think.

Pros

Cons

### "Don't hesitate to use Brevo!"

November 17, 2025

5.0

Apart from the two inconveniences mentioned above, which are quite frustrating for me (especially the suspension of campaigns prepared in full compliance with quality standards), my overall experience has been positive and I do recommend to others. The attractive pricing is also important advantage, especially for the large–scale email sending I need, which has to remain cost-effective.

Pros

The advantages of for me: - attractive pricing compared to similar platforms - very clear interface and ease of use - a responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful support team - high email deliverability

Cons

I think has an overly sensitive algorithm related to email deliverability and customer engagement. My campaigns were suspended even though the open rate was between 25–41%, and I had to contact support for assistance. I should note that in my campaigns I use only contacts from my own list, validated both with an external tool and manually. Another inconvenience is the “campaigns in review” process — the resulting delays in sending are unfavorable from a conversion standpoint, because emails don’t reach recipients during peak open-rate hours. I strongly recommend improving this. I never had this issue with Mailchimp.

Alternatives considered

[Klaviyo](https://www.capterra.com/p/156699/Klaviyo/)

Reason for choosing Brevo

I chose because it offers much more attractive pricing compared to similar platforms, which is especially important for large-scale email sending. The interface is very clear and easy to use, making daily work smooth and efficient. I also appreciate Brevo’s responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful support team, as well as the platform’s high email deliverability, which ensures that my campaigns reach their recipients reliably.

### "Great For Transactional Email"

October 19, 2025

4.0

My overall experience with has been good. It's easy to use, it's great value for the amount I spend on it. I tried using it for email marketing campaigns, but it wasn't ideal since I wasn't bombarding my subscribers all the time with emails. I'd go back the next month to do a newsletter, and all my subscribers would be marked "inactive." Their WordPress plugin used to not be updated in a timely manner, but they've done better in this department.

Pros

I primarily use as a tool so that I and my clients can receive transactional emails through our WordPress sites, and it's outstanding for that. I find the user interface to be easy to navigate, and I can always quickly find what I need.

Cons

I haven't used their customer support in quite some time, because they used to give me answers that weren't correct. What I didn't like about that is that someone who knows nothing about how email works would look at their replies and find them plausible. However, the technical language in their replies left a lot to be desired.

### "Great fit for a smaller creator starting/scaling a small business"

August 22, 2025

5.0

Overall I'm very happy with . As a free user, I was able to do everything I needed, and as a paid user I get exactly what I pay for. I also feel I get the support I need when I run into issues, and I'm happy to see updates and fixes happening constantly which shows me they're improving the product constantly.

Pros

I've tried many CRM/email marketing platforms, and not all of them work for smaller creators like myself. I have found to be the best option for myself starting small and supporting me through growth. The free tier allows a healthy amount of daily emails that I was able to use before I had any revenue/paying customers, and then as I have grown into getting more valuable leads I happily went into the paid plan because it was right when I needed it. Every platform has a different pricing model and I found Brevo's to have a really reasonable point where you go to paid that makes sense. Others turn me off because you have to pay too early or too much in a way that doesn't match your business.

Cons

In my experience, none of these platforms are super easy to use, and is no exception. I found the contact attributes, automations, and forms features difficult to figure out (especially since they were transitioning to some new editors when I got the subscription) but I got there eventually. And to their credit, they do have good customer support.

### "I believe it does send the emails"

February 20, 2026

5.0

It prevents me from having to manually email every individual on my list after they sign up. It costs significantly less than MailChimp at this point, they have increased their pricing and I want to save money. It also manages my SaaS password reset processes without requiring a lot of thought or effort from me.

Pros

It has email and SMS and push notifications all in one place, so I do not have to have a million different tabs open at the same time. The drag and drop builder did not even freeze during use which I was very surprised by. he automation flow design is simple enough that I was able to understand how to utilize them without getting a headache. I was glad that the emails actually made it to the inbox of the recipients and did not disappear into oblivion as with the last tool I used.

Cons

Why is the SMS credit system so convoluted and difficult to understand? I dislike that there are features on the mobile application that were missing from the website. Also, I dislike that the customer service team takes a long time to reply to an email and I had to wait a full day for a response to a basic question.

### "Great Features with Room for UX Improvements"

June 6, 2025

4.0

Overall, my experience with has been very positive. It’s a reliable platform that brings together essential marketng tools email campaigns, automation, and CRM in a way that’s easy to manage and scale. While the user interface could use some refinement, the core functionality is strong, and we’ve seen clear improvements in engagement and workflow efficiency since adopting it. Support has also been responsive wenever we’ve needed help. It’s a solid choice for any team looking to streamline their customer communication.

Pros

The best thing about is how seamlesly it combines email marketing, automation, and CRM features in one easy-to-use platform. The drag-and-drop email builder is ituitive, and the automation workflows make it simple to create personalized experiences for different customer segments. I also really appreciate the high deliverability rates and detailed analytics. it helps us know what’s working and where to optimize.

Cons

The user experience could be improved in a few areas. Some parts of the interface feel a bit clunky or uninuitive, especially when navigating between campaigns, contacts, and automation workflows. It’s not a dealbeaker, but a more streamlined and modern UX would definitely enhance the overall experience.

### "Highly recommend Brevo for SMTP and database growth"

July 12, 2025

5.0

I have had a very positive experience thus far including a speedy response from the support team.

Pros

I was thrilled to find out that I could replace WP SMTP Mail with for all the transactional emails for my Wordpress / Woocom store, and it was easy to install and integrate. Furthermore, the pop-up form from Brevo was top class! I like it better than the Mailchimp equivalent and, once again, it was simple to design and implement.

Cons

### "Loyal Brevo User in México"

March 11, 2026

5.0

Our experience has been very good. We had to stop our plan once for budget reasons, but so glad to be back. This platform is the absolute best for our business needs.

Pros

What I like the most about is that it charges me for how many emails I send, and not my database. I have a big database, but I'm actually a small business that does not send that many emails... So this pricing strategy by Bravo is just the best for our business. The interface is very intuitive and easy to use. We have been with Brevo for a few years, and we have no intention to change anytime soon!

Cons

### "Reliable transactional email service with a generous free tier"

April 30, 2026

4.0

Overall, has been a valuable service for my business. I use it mainly for transactional emails from my online teaching platform, Good At English, and the free plan is currently enough for my daily needs. The SMTP service has improved the reliability of important emails compared with sending directly from my server. The logs are clear and helpful, especially when checking whether students, teachers, or admins received important notifications. I recently had an SMTP suspension issue, but after investigating the cause and explaining the fix, Brevo reactivated the account very quickly. That gave me confidence that their compliance/support team will review a case properly when clear information is provided. Overall, I would recommend Brevo for small businesses that need reliable transactional email and useful delivery logs, especially if they are starting with modest email volume.

Pros

’s free transactional email service is very useful for a small online teaching platform like mine. The 300 emails per day allowance is enough for my current needs, and it gives me room to grow without immediately needing a paid plan. The biggest benefit is email deliverability. Before using Brevo, important platform emails were less reliable, especially when sending to major providers such as Gmail and Hotmail/Outlook. Brevo has helped make class bookings, cancellations, reminders, password/OTP emails, and admin notifications much more dependable. The email logs are also very useful. I can quickly check whether a message was sent, delivered, opened, or rejected, which is important when running a live education website.

Cons

The main downside is that suspension messages could be clearer. When a transactional SMTP account is suspended, it can be stressful for a small business because important platform emails stop working immediately. In my case, I had to investigate the cause myself using server and logs before I understood what had happened. More detailed information about the triggering issue would make the process easier and faster.

### "Great Platform With Potential for Improvement"

December 1, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with is positive – it’s easy to use, reliable, and great for small and growing businesses. However, there are a few important limitations that affect the workflow: limited design flexibility, very basic pop-up options, and a lack of advanced automation and analytics. With deeper integrations and more modern marketing tools, Brevo could become a truly top-tier platform. Overall, I’m satisfied, but there is room for improvement.

Pros

is very easy to use, intuitive, and great for managing newsletters and basic automations. The interface is clean, email delivery is reliable, and the pricing is very fair compared to other platforms. It’s simple to set up, works well for small and medium businesses, and offers all essential tools in one place.

Cons

Few important features that I think are missing: More design flexibility in the email editor (modern layouts, flexible sections, full-width blocks). More types of pop-ups, not only newsletter pop-ups (exit-intent, discount pop-ups, multi-step, slide-ins, scroll/time triggered). Stronger automation options with more conditions and a clearer visual workflow. Better user-journey analytics to see where users drop off in a sequence. Deeper integrations for WordPress/Elementor/WooCommerce. More advanced CRM features like lead scoring and pipeline automation.

### "Fully automating our language course enrollments."

March 26, 2026

5.0

It is one of our priorities to inform and engage our students. I can use this to manage our course announcements and promotion campaigns. It provides an exceptionally easy point of entry in education marketing, though the problems of deliverability need to be monitored at all times.

Pros

The functionality and user-friendly interface in terms of email handling are wonderful and our small teaching faculty was able to design and mail gorgeous monthly newsletters to our potential students in a very short time.

Cons

The overly aggressive spam filtering sometimes pushes our valid class schedules right to the junk mail folders of the students and even the advanced marketing and sales automation options are not worth the money when weighed against the slow response time of the customer care section, which is further complicated by the fact that the customer care department is very slow to reply.

### "Affordable marketing for our guest lists."

January 15, 2026

5.0

This tool offers you a very high performance for little money compared to most more expensive options. The platform that this software is located on handles our email marketing as long as it follows all local regulations; though it occasionally gets caught off-guard by a seemingly onerous compliance rule.

Pros

I liked that the program is fairly straightforward and user friendly. Spam blocking sometimes is too aggressive and blocks legitimate emails to our corporate clients.

Cons

Sometimes customer support takes too long to answer even simple account questions. We have to make sure the people get their booking confirmation and what we are offering on our new seasonal offers without spending a fortune on it, so we need an email delivery service.

### "all-in-one solution"

November 24, 2025

4.0

Our overall experience with has been very positive, especially considering the excellent value for money and the range of tools it provides. The platform excels as an all-in-one solution for email, SMS, and marketing automation. The user interface is generally intuitive and easy to navigate, making campaign setup simple.

Pros

is easy to use and powerful in many ways. We appreciate the intuitive and comprehensive features the most, especially how easy it was to manage email campaigns, segment audiences and track analytics in one place.

Cons

The steep learning curve for some of the advanced automation workflows, which occasionally made setup more complex than necessary.

I have been trying CRM's the whole month. Eventually resorted to GPT that recomemnded 5 based on my requirments. ... Good. Unless i hit a brick wall like the last ones, im bringing my clients across aswell

Pros

Easy to set up compared with last so called market leader I spent a week on. Had my list sorted and sent my campaign in a few hrs. Had some issues the Ai Assitant coulnt sort, had an email from support within a few hrs.

Cons

The Email pipeline a little learning curve, however the Ai Assistant did create one for me. Just need to spend more time
