Pros Ease of use, short learning curve and great starter package to get you used to creating weekly newlsetters and such. It can also grow as you grow without the crazy upfront cost that you can't afford when you're not all grown up. Cons It really seems to be focused on sales and not so much marketing in general, so I have to do a good bit of creative thinking to get around that in the templates. September 9, 2025 5.0 Overall, I needed a quick solution for a Newsletter distribution and Brevo fit the bill perfectly! I had a little trouble authenticating my Domain, the tech support was a simple email away and the problem was resolved (my DNS config) quickly. Pros High Value for the money, Customer support has been fantastic. Interface is easy to use, allows for easy set up and scheduling of emails. The delivery to the end user is about perfect. I'm impressed. Pros I have used Brevo for many years for my email campaigns. Over time, the development meant that the number of contacts and how many mailings I wanted to do per month had changed significantly. It turned out that the plan I had was no longer relevant. Choosing the right plan, considering all the factors that influence it, is a relatively sophisticated task. For this, I have received excellent support help. With that help, I have found and subscribed to a new excellent plan that fits my needs perfectly. Such support is valuable when you are in a problematic situation. Brevo is very easy to use, and my emails reached all recipients without any issues. The support team is outstanding — extremely fast and helpful, even though I’m on a free plan. Highly recommended! 👏 Cons For me, at this moment, nothing negative to say. I’m just a beginner, but I had no issues using Brevo. One small downside: I’m on a free plan, and I was briefly blocked because I sent too many emails at once as a new customer. I need to better understand the use of the Contacts and how to fully leverage the mailing system (including the instant messaging part). Pros An easy yet powerful tool; the free version provides a full range of tools that are very useful and reliable. Easy of use is another big plus. Cons Of course the limitations of the free version affect my day-by-day, but nothing that cannot be handled. The building of Newsletters is not always straightforward because of the limitation of the graphic design tool, but that's acceptable. A better use of AI would probably be another plus. Don't waste your time, rather keep with Mailchimp Cons We are a music band and we have a loyal fanbase which we brought across from Mailchimp that has been earned over the years through our events and concerts. We sent out one mail about a float fest party we were hosting to our fan base and Brevo suspended our account. Absolutely no reason and they refused to explain why. Don't waste your money, rather stick with Mailchimp as they are more expensive but at least there is transparency and honesty with their clients. Highly disappointed!! I did not want to get into something too intricate and I am able to keep this as simple as I want. Pros Brevo has made contacting customers very easy and smooth. I made the switch to Brevo earlier this year because I was challenged in notifying customers of weather delays and just getting information to them in a timely manner. Now, it is as easy as sending an email. Cons I had a challenge in getting a toll free number created. This was not Brevo who created the challenge. However, the Brevo team came to the rescue and interacted with the third party organization and solved the problem.
