It does take slightly longer to get up and running as they sometimes manually check your email contacts for compliance - but once thats done it works well. Automation is easy and works perfectly. Template editing is easy too. Integration with Zapier works fine. For our number of contacts it worked out considerable more cost effective than mail chimp. Cons The SMS in the UK does not allow customers to reply. This is very annoying and means we have to use an alternative SMS supplier. It is very handy and easy to use. Contacts can be easily imported in the Excel format. Its scheduling/marketing automation feature is one of the best in the market! Pros The best part of this software is its automation feature. One can set email content along with the contact database, and the software will keep sending the emails automatically based on the defined time period. One can run multiple email campaigns using this software and the analytics provided for those campaigns are also very useful. Cons Where Brevo (or Send in Blue) lacks is the CRM connections and to be able to really create customer journey flows based of behaviour. March 29, 2024 3.0 It was frustrating trying to figure out how to break my subscriber group into too many groups and frustrating that one email would take 5-6 days to be sent to my entire subscriber group. I spent a lot of time doing this and my time is important. Pros Allowed email campaigns, and allowed subscribers for no cost. Cons I had to break my subscribers into too many groups as Brevo would only allow so many emails sent per day. Since I was sending time-limited coupons, this did not work for me so I changed to another provider. I have been able to set up my own business and others with SendInBlue and they like it a lot. Definitely worth the value. Pros Very low cost with a lot of features including unlimited contacts. The only limit really is 300 emails per day max but when you are starting out with email marketing that's not a big deal, especially with newsletters. They have a very nice automation workflow process that has a lot of options similar to big competitors that cost more. Also, if you need to create a new email template it has the option to open a new tab and then easily refresh it, unlike other competitors. The API connection is easy to find and work with. Overall a great software solution for small businesses. Cons Not much of anything, I have seen other systems have a few more features in the automation builder but those were not really used anyway. Active campaign only has the API feature on plans starting about $50/month or more and with how little we used those extra features didn't justify the cost. Well, that's what any email SaaS tool does nowadays. Cons If you are a small business or a freelancer, you should run away. Under the guise of respecting the RGPD and French anti-spam laws, Sendinblue suspects you in advance: you can't do anything unless customer service deigns to accept you in the tool if you follow 10,000 useless rules. Onboarding is a nightmare. The only purpose? Create a barrier to entry for small businesses. This is a tool for big companies now, and the described offer is a fraud. The customer Experience Team (\[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]) I do have to mention you by name :) not only helped in their response, but also gave additional information about the product, how it works, etc that was impressive. Pros What we like the most about Sendinblue is the simplicity of how the system works. There are plenty of help articles if you get stuck, and online support agents are polite, helpful and quick to give you support if needed. It's also useful to be able to "share" templates between different accounts, and the online editing software is first class. Cons There are no cons. Basically this software and the service that Sendinblue offer clients is second to none. If you are looking for a newsletter or transactional email software system with support, then we have no hesitation in recommending Sendinblue.
