SendInBlue markets itself as cost-effective for small businesses, and only charging for what you need, with easy access to upgrades. What we found was that when we tried to upgrade, they tried to charge us for a whole new package that was more expensive than we needed, for more capacity than we needed or could use. We reached out to their support team, and got some really convoluted explanations, but absolutely no solutions, despite multiple tries. The company seems very disinterested in new customer retention, and basically made no effort to help us find our feet as a new customer. We'd gone to some trouble to transition our mailing list, learn the new interface, and get it linked to our website for subscriptions. We now feel that we were misled or tricked. The experience was concerning enough that I want to go some effort to warn others. This is a terrible service for small businesses on a budget. Pros Some of the interface is fairly intuitive, comparable to Mailchimp and Constant Contact Cons Several features were less user-friendly. Pros The product is very useful when establishing a Wordpress Networks site, since manual configuration of an e-mail service is extremely complicated and often fails. And when the inital configuration with Sendinblue SMTP is done, the service works flawlessly. Cons In comparison to home configuration of email service, the Sendinblue SMTP system is like a walk in the park. However, without such a comparison the setup may seem complicated, and it also involves manual control by Sendinblue SMTP (and a little bit of waiting). From my perspective, this not a con at all. It is assuring that Sendinblue controls that the clients are not abusing the service. Reason for choosing Brevo Sendinblue SMTP was recommended by several sites discussing the setup of Wordpress. Pros Look und Möglichkeit zur zweisprachigen Einrichtung von Automatisierungsabläufen Cons Spam Einträge beim Newsletter werden in der Automation gezählt, obwohl sie die Automation wegen double opt in nicht komplett durchlaufen. Daher kamen bei mir bei 70 echten Kontakten in deutscher und englischer Version gesamt, über die Zeit 2000 Kontakte in der Automation zusammen. Daraufhin wurden meine Automationen von Brevo gesperrt, da anscheinend bei 2000 Vorgängen ein Limit der freien Version erreicht wurde. Verschickt habe ich etwa 70 Emails im Laufe von etwa 6 Monaten.
