Cons I'm currently considering Send in Blue as an alternative email management system due to it being more cost effective. The biggest issue I've noticed so far is the migration of our existing contacts list (16k+) which results in all the contacts being flagged. So far I've had to import them in fragments to get them to be accepted and send out smaller campaigns. I understand why they do this but it could be a sticking point. Review Source DG Dean G. " December 14, 2021 4.0 I would say it is a bit tricky in the first instance, however the information is there and the guidance is available. I just needed to push through and understand which data I needed to use. Pros The support is quite thorough and I feel that a real person looked into my case each time. Cons I have to admit that it took many hours or frustration to get the transactional emails running. I honestly didn't know what to type into the menus and tried to get my head around the tutorials. I then asked for help from the support team and after a bit of guidance, now feel confident I can build out a system for lots of different products on my website. I am glad I managed to talk the client using it into switching to Mailchimp instead. Pros If you were not used to working in Mailchimp you may like this software. But as someone who has worked with MC for more than a decade across a lot of campaign niches I found very little to like about it. It felt like a cut price clone want to be that is not even that cut priced. Cons It wasn't my choice to use the software - a client had it in place - and I found it to be clunky and overly complicated, especially when it came to creating triggered drip mail campaigns, which is what I had been tasked with. It often missed triggers for no explained reason, and needed to be checked often, defeating the purpose of putting an automation in place. Review Source Adam C. I had tried Mail Chimp and Constant Contact before but found ease of use and pricing so much better with SendinBlue. Pros The software is very straight forward and easy to use. You dont have to jump around a bunch of screens to set up a mailing. Cons Have not found a con yet while using this software. Pros Fairly easy to use. I’m using the free option to manage Communications with our small group and it is working pretty well. Cons Because I’m using the free option they are are many features that I cannot access and I understand that but for more my purpose and what I’m getting right now is a very good deal.
