Love the way they've taken a great product and improved it further by simplifying things and improving the user experience :) Cons Just one: landscape style company logos end up really tiny on quotes) but it was great to hear that Streamtime took our feedback and is working on a solution. Pros It's pretty simple and easy to use. I like that I can log in from anywhere and do a quote. Our old filemaker based system was old and clunky and not easy to access remotely. I like the reporting functionality and how easy it is to see how a job is tracking. Customer service is excellent. Cons It would be good to be able to merge and keep the cost against each line item. I have repeatedly asked for this to be looked at. Having a heading and a line item for each service offering makes the quote way too long. Clients want short concise and explicit quotes. There is no spell check letting you know something maybe misspelt. Helps assign tasks to individuals, determine costs and time, and eliminate a lot of the guessing work on my end when it comes to coordination. Pros Very simple interface and overall pretty easy to use. Also love how the team is constantly looking to add new features. Streamtime aggregates all information about our projects into one place--time, workers, cost, tasks, and invoices. Really is the perfect software for contractors or sole proprietors. Cons Doesn't offer completely automated time tracking, which I wish it did. Manual entry of time suffices, but actual time tracking would be more efficient when determining pay and costs. Used the software for: ### "A thoughtfully designed time saver" December 8, 2016 5.0 The ease of use, functionality and beautiful design of this product ensures there is no reasonable excuse for being disorganised when it comes to workflow. Streamtime makes job and time management a simple task to enable my studio to spend their valuable time in design rather than administration. The weekly view feature allows for realistic targets for jobs to be maintained rather than the 'wishful thinking' format of my working past. The ease of seeing all team members schedules enables job distribution and tracking streamlines the approach to office time management. Streamtime has re-introduced me to a better way of working blocks of time rather than small snippets which are ultimately time wasting. I feel more in control of my time and therefore job schedules. I look forward to a long term relationship with Streamtime and the program developments that will come with time. Pros The Streamtime team seem very receptive to comments on improvement or issues I may have had. I am always incredibly impressed by their personal response. This program is so simple to use it thankfully avoids the lengthy customisation time often required of other similar products on the market. Cons The lack of timer originally seemed quite a frustrating element. After using this feature for a period of time I feel it has improved my way of working. Pros The ease of use, flexibility, transparency, and UI quirkiness. It's also very good at conveying breakdowns of tasks to clients when needed. Cons it's a little temperamental with a wacom tablet. Pros Beautiful, intuitive UI. Really simple to get started straight away on the core features, with options to dig a little deeper for the more advanced use cases. Cons Nothing significant – occasionally run into things which aren't quite where one might expect them to be, or need a little more poking around to find, but overall not a steep learning curve at all. Streamtime is THAT good. Pros The ease of it all. It's simply simple to use. It took me no more than five minutes to get my head around it and the little crazy looking helper dude and the flying drone is hysterical (and very helpful!) An ideal project management system for our small studio, very easy to manage and takes away a lot of our pain points with scheduled projects. Pros Easy to use and the place I can view all of my projects at once, see the status of each project, and forecast upcoming projects etc. As well as where all my quoting and invoices are completed so there is no double entry or errors. Pros I like that Streamtime tracks my hours using visual blocks. It helps me understand where my hours are going easier. It's also super clear whats left on the budget which I like. I like that I could plan my week and get a quick visual of where my time will go. I like that there are various ways you can track your time. IE - I like to search the jobs using job numbers or project names - other people in the team prefer to drag and drop from the side panel. It's cool that Streamtime has allowed for different working styles. All of this means it's so much easier to use than the last job tracker I had. Review Source PS Philip S. It is also very useful as tool to discuss my work planning with my line manager and my line management of other staff as it shows exactly what we have been working on and for how long. Pros It has an easy to use interface that very useful when I plan and cost projects. The support and training is responsive and upbeat. They also love the drag and drop feature as it eliminates manual entries. From a management perspective we can see everything in one place and quickly assign job as required. The 'To Do' list is really one of many great features of this program. Beautiful interface, with easy to use functions. Cons The initial process was a little fiddly to learn the software. Staff were brilliant with the onboarding process. Also, having to create tasks just to price/quote a project is ok, but could be better. Pros What I like the most about the software is that it is fast and super simple to use. It's very intuitive, it's well design and there are constant improvements. The opportunity arose to try the new version so we jumped at the chance. For a light fast moving group who need organising, but not managing and information but not inputs, Streamtime fits the bill. Inducting people into using it is very easy. We started testing with a small sub set of our business to see if the new version of streamtime would work for not only the sub part but the larger main organisation. Pros Simplicity of user setup is fantastic. And even though the support is not really needed, the support team goes out of their way to ensure your questions are answered in relation to your organisation. This is a subtle but important point. The ongoing additions to the original release are not adding clutter as in many iterative software releases, but adding value. The recent release of the analytics console was brilliant. Cons It cannot read my mind. I would like the developers to put some energy into a direct interface with my brain. It's very easy to utilise the filters to have a quick breakdown of basically everything you would want to look at. Integration with Xero is completely seamless and the UX, on the most part, is very intuitive and easy to understand.
