I would have liked to have an implementation team that owned the employee and manager training, but for the cost, it works out. Pros It is so easy to use- you really don't even need training, it is very intuitive . Cons I would have liked to have compatibility for file transfers with my payroll system. I look forward to adding Zenefits payroll once it is available in our state. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about it! The main reason for the move was due to budgeting constraints with our business. I was rewarded through this change by gaining a system that was easy to use on both the administration side as well as the end user side. In fact, I was given a compliment on the Zenefits platform by the head of our IT department. He commented that both the look and feel of the Zenefits platform was a huge improvement to the system that we used previously. Pros Employees were able to complete onboarding online which sped up the HR paperwork process as well as allows documents to be stored on the cloud. The Zenefits platform also allowed employees to update their personal, banking, tax information on their own without having to complete the work via a paper process as we had in the past. Cons Because Zenefits is acting as your insurance broker, you must work through them for all edits, changes, or updates. This process took longer than we had been used to because we had managed everything on our end working straight through the insurance carrier. Review Source EC Erica C. I appreciate that it is intuitive and a platform for all to stay connected and on top of things! Pros The feature I like most about Zenefits is the easy hiring piece! We currently do not use ATS from Zenefits, however, it does allow us to integrate information from the hiring platform we use to fill in hiring information seamlessly! Cons I really enjoy the reporting feature in Zenefits. However, I wish they would also disclose a time frame or date to specific modifications. Pros I love the concept of an all in one platform. I really like that time keeping is so easily tied into payroll. Cons The customer service team is great some days. Other days they are just an operator service. I want someone who can actually solve the issue and not have to go to an engineer. I also wish they had an all in one applicant tracking system. Pros Ability to give every employee immediate access to their pay history, W-2's, etc. Handling payroll, especially for a small firm, is a complex undertaking and risks many penalties if not handled properly. This service is flexible, easy to operate, and handles all our HR needs. Cons If an employee's personal phone # changes, which is used for login access security codes, an administrator has to handle the change in order for that employee to gain access. It's a one stop shop for all HR needs. It has made on-boarding and off-boarding so much easier. It's also given our employees easy visibility into payroll as well as medical, vision, dental, and 401k plans. I wish the customer service was a little more helpful, however, I would definitely recommend Zenefits to others. It is easy to do "paper"work online like I9s, ACA filings, W-2s, COBRA administration, new hire paperwork, etc. The tool also helps companies track time and attendance, time off, and offer a full suite of benefits to employees. If we did not use zenefits we would have to hire at least 1 other person to do all the work that this software automates. Review Source DT Dianne T. November 6, 2018 1.0 Our company is leaving Zenefits and will not recommend to anyone ever!!!! Any positive reviews must be from the company themselves. Do not be fooled! Pros Nothing that any other HR product doesn't already have. The are no options on Zenefits that I would recommend. Cons Horrific customer support! You can't get an answer from anyone on any subject. Their chats tell you to watch their basic specific videos, the call center puts you on hold for a minimum of 25 minutes and then you still don't get a resolution. Emails don't get answered either. Pros zenefits has a very clear and easy UI, even through signing up for complicated things like health insurance plans and 401ks, etc. it seems pretty robust with time off mgmt. nice amount of integrations available (although there could always be more!). manage commuter benefits, fsa, paystubs, team/org structure and contact info, plus documents like offer letters, NDAs, etc Cons their help articles are unorganized, overlapping, and unclear. support team is vague and unclear with resolutions. submitting receipts is ridiculous, they reject receipts without context Review Source CK Conrad K. We were skeptical at first but the ability to approve or deny time submissions has made everything much easier. We have several people who work out of the office and this makes it easier for them. We recently switched to Zenefits from another provider and are super impressed with the platform. As a small business, we certainly benefit from having Zenefits as a platform that can do it all. Not only are we able to get everything done in the same place, but it's extremely simple and quick. Zenefits also has great online resources that help answer all my questions, which make it so that I rarely have to call their customer service. When I do call though, the representatives are super pleasant and quick to respond to any questions, which is great. Overall I highly recommend Zenefits for any business large or small, they are great!  Pros Zenefits is extremely easy to use, and it's a platform where you can do everything in one place. Pros Zenefits is a cloud based software which enables managing human resources that governed by different groups. People do not need to spend too much time to get use HR functions with the help of Zenefits. Cons I do not know how an outsider can use this facility to apply for an job or interview. They also have a unique link that I can share with potential employees to give them insight into how much benefits through my company may cost. Has been helpful software at my current and previous companies. Cons I think the navigation throughout the software can be pretty cumbersome. The dashboard on the Admin and User side is very easy to use. I also love that notifications regarding payroll, PTO, and benefits are automated. I never miss a thing! Also, Zenefits takes care of my state taxes, which is a life and time saver. Their customer service is amazing. They respond so quickly and resolve an issues I may have right away. Cons I honestly cannot think of one thing I dislike about this software. Aside from the software fulfilling all of my business needs, the staff at Zenefits is so helpful. Before choosing Zenefits, I spoke with other companies that basically emailed me information and a quote. It made onboarding very easy and quick to complete. They also provide mobile apps for those on the go. You can access paystubs, benefits, tax forms, etc. Cons I did not like the fact that it was always a wait when contacting them to help resolve issues as it always took time, especially in situations when you need an answer or something done asap.
