Everything you need is just a click away. Tax info, Payroll, Time off requests and more. I wish my previous jobs had used Zenefits- I feel like it would cut down on a lot of paperwork for upper management. Pros I love the convenience of this software. I can contact coworkers through their app, I can change tax info at the click of a button. I can see my clock in and clock out times anytime, as well as request time off through the website. Took a month for me to speak to an actual person regarding this account. Pros Nothing, they are great salesmen/women. So make sure to read the small print. The only thing is the fact that I can't necessarily call customer service. It is through email and as we all know, things can be lost in translation via email. When you do finally get someone on the phone, they are very helpful. It just takes a bit of back and forth before that happens. No more going to multiple different platforms to find org charts, company policies, benefits, etc. Originally we started off with our internal communications people managing all of these things which was challenging and disorganized. Having all of this in one place has elevated our once start-up company and taken it to the next level. Cons We haven't had any difficulties or challenges while using Zenefits. September 14, 2017 4.0 I have used Zenefits for about a year and will be changing systems very soon. Pros No cost. I like the ease of the onboarding system and ability to push to payroll seamlessly. It is relatively easy to use. Customization is possible but not always easy. Cons They changed so that they charge for a number of features now, they dont offer payroll in many states, they no longer have dedicated reps, you have email into a general support area and in many cases my response to support needs were very slow. They seem to have had some challenges with growth and their original promise of offering a free system that was robust and growing in exchange for brokering service commissions no longer really holds true. However all the info wasn't populated so my recommendation is if you use it ... then go all out and use it. Otherwise to the end user (employee) it feels like a system that is underutilized and that the company doesn't care enough to populate all the data points for my use. Pros Was a relatively good way to organize company benefits for employees. Easy to navigate . Cons This system is only as good as the those who feed the data to it. It is similar to many of the other software that is available. In the short time, we are using it - it seems very easy functionally and we can personalize it for our company's needs. August 18, 2015 5.0 We have a smaller company but are growing quickly, and getting our HR process streamlined and paperless has been wonderful! My experience with Zenefits has been great. Initially there was a delay in processing our account, but they were very quick to take care of it and the responsiveness since then has been amazing. I think they are growing and probably have more work than they can handle, but it's a great service and since we are small it is truly helpful for us. They truly can do it all and they are constantly adding new features. Cons The biggest issue I have had is with the timekeeping, it takes a photo of the employee on clock in and out and that is something we would like to go around. Pros HR management is made very easy with this software, and allows for easy onboarding, easy payroll information, and easy benefits signup with very little paperwork. " June 13, 2018 4.0 Pros Before the system that we were using was not meant for a company with multiple work locations, different states, or even different levels of access. Zenefits has allowed us to set up levels with in the company so everyone has access to the information they need to get the job done with out putting us at a risk. It has also allowed us to spend less time on trivial items and more time creating a better work environment for our office! Cons We are still very new to the system, and a lot of items that we do not fully understand. As time goes we will have a better handle on what the site can and cannot provide for us.
