Not worth it. They are starting to charge a lot of thing when they didn't before. It was you pay the broker and get the program free now you don't. Also it doesn't have a lot of features

GOing paperless, organized and streamlining the onboarding process. Also helped in streamlining the Insurance renewal process.

Pros

helped to automate the on-boarding process. The team also works with us at time of Insurance renewal. The process has been streamlined with help of zenefits.

Cons

Could be more flexible for contractors and other forms of employment. Currently only for w2 employees.

Zenefits has saved me dozens of hours (and measureless compliance fears and brain damage) by handling all of our critical paperwork (hiring, healthcare, etc.) for our 15 employees. I'm excited to work with them for the rest of my entrepreneurial career!

Ease of use. New hire setup wizards. Healthcare management.

I don't know if they grew too fast or just had problems internally, but I think the software had great potential, but the flaws caused us to take our payroll business elsewhere. We do continue to use the insurance/benefits aspect and really like it.

Pros

We really like how you could customize different categories, documents, etc and let your employees do a lot within the software itself.

Cons

We had a few issues with the customer service and technical people at Zenefits. I feel like they've gotten better as we still use them in a minimal capacity. Wrong filings, poor help and support were the major issues.

Pros

I love Zenefits. The user experience is amazing and is so easy to navigate. As an administrator I also enjoyed the back end reporting and features. My favorite was RSS Calendar feed of birthdays and employee anniversaries.

Cons

Sometimes the site would be down on glitch and changes I made did not go into effect. We just had to be a bit more cautious!

I really like the hiring, background checks, and HR benefits integration. These features simplify our work, give us a professional appearance, and provide great benefits to our customers.

Cons

Zenefits needs an integration with ADP. It also needs more performance management capabilities. I also worry about all the management changes in the company.

Pros

Zenefits offers many great features that make HR management much easier. In addition, it has a number of useful a la carte add-ons.

Cons

Getting payroll data from Zenefits into your accounting system is difficult. Payroll setup is also a major undertaking.

I don't think the software really provides great value beside providing document templates for on-boarding new employees. I think this should be used more for super small businesses.

Pros

I like the new updated user interface. It looks a lot cleaner and makes the software seem higher class. They make it relatively easy to find what you are looking for.

Cons

You don't seem to be able to do very much with it. Maybe it is just my company only paying for so many features, but it basically just shows me the formal work agreements and tax documents.

I like that it is easy to keep track of my time off and how many hours/days I have left to use.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult to figure out if your time off is accrued semi monthly instead of annually.

This system is great for nonprofits. We use it to manage our health insurance, annual leave, onboarding, termination, and HSA accounts. It has saved me a tremendous amount of time and hassle having everything conveniently in one place. I think it's a great solution for small nonprofits and small businesses without a dedicated HR team.

### "A sales machine that hasn't a clue"

Pros

I like the concept of the service and the pricing is good. Their initial sales and on-boarding team was also very helpful.

Cons

I'm not quite sure where to start with this. There are parts of the company I like, but others I do not. I despise the fact that they don't have a development team that can focus on the product. It's beyond clear that management sees sales as the end-all. It helped them bootstrap their growth and raise a large investment round, but their lack of focus on development and support will be their death.

Nowadays, most companies are using zenefits for administrative purposes. It is used mostly by HRs to keep all employee information. You can fill all your bank details, personal information, emergency contact information, tax information. The software itself generates an offer letter, with the main signatures. The signatures have to be entered in the company portal

Cons

You need to create an account to use it.

Overall, as an employee-user, I'd highly recommend Zenefits!

Pros

As an employee that managed benefits through Zenefits, it was a pleasant and easy to use tool. Some of the positive things about Zenefits include: - Great user experience - things are always easy to find and download. - The customer support is impeccable - a live person is always available.

Cons

I have not noticed many cons with Zenefits, other than updates coming out in large batches (which can sometimes be jarring to the end user).

### "Makes requesting time off easy"

Love it!

Pros

I love how incredibly easy to request, check, and cancel time off requests and sick time. It gives you a running total of available time off and if you request time off in the future, it tells you how much time you'll have at that time and what will be available. Everything is easily and comfortable displayed. The learning curve was tiny.

Cons

I am having a hard time finding something I don't like!

Easy to set up and integrate with third party add-ons. Easy for staff to customize their information. Easy set-up for employee details and pay. Ability to track PTO.

Cons

There are no cons at this time. It's a simple HR service that allows you to track PTO, benefits, etc. There is no option for payroll at this time.

Pros

As an HR system, we get most of functions within zenefits. it also helps managing and keeping employee savings details. We provide a couple policies to employees to have their savings. Zenefits calculate the savings for all people and reminds us on time when to provide them extra money to make their savings.

Cons

If employees can also see their saving details and have a login to zenefit, that will be best. As of now, we as HR have logins and team does not have it. So having a guest user type will be best.

Could always have more integrations, and maybe a partnership with more 401K companies (Captain401), but no major complaints so far

I have been a Zenefits customer now for a few months. I was able to set up my employees, and go live within 30 days. We run between 35 and 48 employees, usually, and the setup, management, and administration of this has been amazing to me. It was quite intuitive, and for the few problems that I did have during implemention, my Zenefits customer service rep was quick and knowledgeable to help me solve. We haven't been through a renewal process, but with the experience I've had so far, I don't expect to have anything but more good to say!

I like the dashboard on the home page! It's simple and clear. I also like the Time Off portal, which is easy to use.

Cons

Integration into my firm wasn't the smoothest because it was very different from our last HR portal.

\- Online open enrollment - Able to complete new hire paperwork - Time Off application - Able to look at employee time punches from anywhere & who is currently clocked in - Continually improving and adding things

Cons

\- Major delay in implementing benefits administration if you do not use OneDigital for benefits - Must contact customer service for minor changes (ie. employee address, plan names) - Not notified if employees update info (ie. tax withholding, qualifying event changes, etc.) - Employees are weekly complaining about the TimeKeeper system - I wish they would give the administrators more controll!

Pros

Zenefits seems like a very thorough all-in-one HRIS software. I like how easy it is to sign up for benefits, to on-board new employees, and to run payroll.

Cons

Sometimes the system is a bit slow, especially on payroll days. Also, for some of the reports we need on our end we have to run multiple reports in Zenefits and copy/paste the information. Hopefully there will be more customization options in the future.
