It's never hard to figure out how to do what you're looking to do--I've never had to reach out for help. It's nice to have things like time-off and health benefits in one consolidated spot, minimizing the logins I have to remember. Cons I guess the one thing I would like to see is the time off tab, if the days you have could be split up into different categories. Like PTO, sick, bereavement. Used the software for: ### "Does everything we need & more" July 15, 2015 5.0 Stumbled upon Zenefits via searching for a better PTO tracking system (we're in CA and subject to a new law for part-time EEs) than Excel spreadsheets. Found that it does WAY more than just track PTO and produce reports; I love that it integrates with so many other business management systems we use (like payroll and medical) so that we don't have to enter the same exact data into multiple systems. Customer service and satisfaction is a top goal at Zenefits, and it shows through in every way they conduct business and listen to feedback about the software. Helps keep us compliant with state regulations and by being our benefits broker, we can ask questions and get answers and advice from licensed individuals. February 3, 2015 1.0 Pros Initial setup and onboarding were okay; it all ends there! Cons Where to begin? 1. Can never reach the same person twice; can only call a general customer service number. Then you only get platitudes, such as "We're working on it", "It's a busy time of year", etc. 2. Totally screwed up our insurance renewals so badly that we had to switch to another agent of record/carrier. Instead of fixing problems, they just kept creating new ones. And we only have 12 employees! 3. Had to request severing the link between Zenefits and our payroll company. The info entered was almost always wrong! Review Source Adam D. The system gave me 3 calendar days notice for our enrollment, 2 of which were over a weekend. This effectively gave me less than a business day to review the changes. When I attempted to contact them regarding this, I received no reply. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Pros None. This company will likely go under in the next year. Rate these guys as a zero Pros The advertising is the best part of this company - they will fool you. It's a sales job - stay away. Cons You can not reach them. All your answers has to be through watch 10,000 videos. You can't talk to anyone except through a 15 minute appointment and it takes a week to set up the appointment. So frustrating. I have to spend very little time managing benefits for the team. They have done an excellent job preparing everything and making it "one click". Customer support is quick and effective. Cons The one thing I would improve is having very clear reporting regarding the actual costs of health benefits and who they are paid for. The reports are not clear and could be improved. Cons You can find most everything you are paying for for free on other websites. Most all of the options/aps are add-ons and cost extra, a lot extra. Their customer service is non-existent. There were also some issues that we had while using their program that didn't work for our company, such as employees being able to clock in at any time and you can't view the schedule in the mobile ap. As we begin to grow, we will need to purchase a new system. This is because we don't want to pay an additional fee for each added application. We would rather have one all-in-one system. It's intuitive, attractive, and expansive. It's easy to navigate to exactly which tool or report I need. Cons I dislike not having a designated customer representative. I'm constantly being shuffled to different people, and sometimes it's hard to get an accurate, legally-sound answer without a lot of back-and-forth.
