President & Owner Used the software for: ### "Decent System, Customer Service is hit or miss" June 7, 2015 4.0 Zenefits is a good concept, and for a business like mine (custom web design/development) is a natural fit. Overall, the system is decent, generally working well. The user experience could be improved (for example, I have both a master login as the admin and a user login as an employee of my company but it is not possibly to switch between these views/roles or even see that they exist.) The customer service is sometimes awesome: prompt and knowledgable. And sometimes not awesome: slow and little help from people who knew less than I did about health insurance requirements and I'm not in the industry. June 21, 2021 4.0 My overall experience with Zenefits has been good. I've been using it mostly to reconcile payroll with our bookkeeping reports. It's been easy to use. Pros I haven't had the chance to work with Zenefits a whole lot, but I find it easy to use and navigate around. Cons I don't particularly have any cons yet. We did not start the implementation until the end of September 2016. We started on time and was able to complete the complete open enrollment by 11/30/2016. Pros It has saved me numerous hours of work which I can devote to other areas of my job. Cons I have not found a negative aspect of the support our organization get from Zenefits. Not having to do paperwork all day. Pros That it's super easy to use by everyone. I spend less time doing paperwork. Employees can take control of their onboarding and make changes. Pros The software is very user friendly. My employees find it also to maneuver on their end, uploading their information and photo's etc. Cons If an employee is terminated, I find it confusing what my responsibility is as far as insurance. Pros Fairly easy to use and they have a mobile app Cons After you leave the company that uses Zenefits, you are cutoff from using the mobile app and also apparently from accessing your funds from your HSA account. Pharmacy tried using the card (which does have funds) and the card was declined. I haven't received a call back from Zenefits. " June 19, 2015 4.5 Pros The product is very easy to use and streamlines a lot of my HR processes. This work used to take hours and now it takes minutes. Their customer support team is also very helpful. They took us through the whole renewal process, which went well, and they actually helped us save a bit of money. Can also make adjustments on there as well which is awesome. Enrolling for benefits as well as having an archive for all of my work related handbooks and so forth is so much better via this digital platform. Director of HR Used the software for: ### "Had high hopes" May 19, 2016 1.0 I moved to Zenefits at the end of last year in hope that it would make my HR department more efficient and make it easier to get things done. Unfortunately all it has done is solve some problems but create many more unfortunately more than it solved. They promise do not follow through then they come up with a solution and still do not come through. I am very disappointed with them an do not recommend them to anyone. I also got a manager involved and all they did was make excuses and attempt to pacify me. Issues that are supposed to be solved are still occurring they cannot seem to get on the same page. If you have a tax issue, their people handle it (if you're full service.) Payroll never screws up, and the price point is unbeatable. Cons The setup was somewhat aggravating. I know what I'm doing, but the rep that set me up didn't. It was a multi-hour process that I could have gladly skipped (and tried to, unsuccessfully.) This makes it easy to give my information, even if I don't have the actual card on hand. Cons When I first started working with them, it seemed that their customer support team wasn't big enough. Pros As an employee of using zenefits, I really enjoy the difference between this product and the last software product we used. With this one, the communication between the employer and employee is exceptionsal! I like how organized the links are when I log in. Cons Although the product is great, it was a little hard to get around through things at first. But with some assistance and a little technical support I figured it out!! The customer service is really nice and helpful where they can be. Cons I had tons of problems trying to upload my legal documents to sign up for zen payroll. However, the customer service and engineering teams were really helpful in trying to get it fixed, but it took over a week and multiple lines of communication to finally get it up and running. Pros The software provides integration of HR, payroll and insurance which is being quite manageable with easy to use functions. The cost is the main advantage of Zenefits which is quite affordable. Cons Support and costumer care are not good enough, delays on emails are usual and sometimes it take more than 24 hours.
