The annoying part is that the support team wouldn't at least be honest and admit they have a bug. Pros Good integration with Xero. POS is quite good Cons Customer support - they almost never understand the question, with videos, snips etc. They always have to go back to technical team to check on the issue. Director Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Fantastic" November 3, 2017 5.0 Pros Orderhive was the only suitable order management system that I could find, that would provide a integration with Royal Mail (UK delivery service). Whilst this took some time to achieve (about 2 months), the integration works very well, enabling us to print off shipping labels without manually entering in the address. Orderhive also integrates with our online store, which allows the orders to be synced with ease. They listen to feedback and have great support. Orderhive have all the features necessary for our order management. Cons Nothing much, it's not perfect, but they're working towards it by listening to customers opinions. Maybe faster integration time, although they did run into some complications with our integration (probably why no one else does it with Royal Mail). Review Source MS Megan S. All our data is stored in one platform and this helps with accountability. Pros The inventory management software helps is keep track of our stock. I love that the stock automatically updates whenever we do a sale or purchase. The integration with XERO help with accounting as well. Nathasha did an excellent work onboarding us. Pros I like the ability to import purchase orders via CSV. Cons We would like more user permission controls in the POS app. We wish the Cash Management screen's cash balance wasn't visible to all users of the till. " August 10, 2021 4.0 Given the fact that we run online stores that have been exceptionally difficult to integrate I would give the overall experience a 3/5 rating. Everything else in terms of system functionality, options and support staff's willingness to help has been great. Pros Many customisation options available in addition to our current/previous system especially regarding Xero integration. Cons \- System is accounting heavy, meaning if all settings are not accurate in relation to your accounting system (Xero in our case) daily operations is not effortless. This is great and difficult to master at the same time. - Shopify integration is not simple and requires many tweaks that are not intuitive. - Loading, editing products in Shopify through Dear is complicated. - Product variants and 'bundles (Tradegecko), or BOM's (DEAR) are cumbersome in Dear and requires a lot of rework to make your front end in Shopify run accurately. - Invoice and document customisation is horrible. - Paying an additional USD50 for a faster server is annoying and the standard option seems to be throttled. - UI is average compared to TG/QB. Reason for choosing Cin7 Core Better in all areas and Dear improved significantly from when we last looked at Dear as an option 3 years ago. Review Source iH ivan H. I am pretty pleased with its performance. Pretty simply to use and easily to understand each module. The tutorial video presentation is really useful which u can easily accessing it by clicking from the main menu. No hassle to go around to find it. It is adapted to the needs of our company. The integration was very easy and did not raise any problems. What helps us the most is the ease with which picking, receiving and stock checking are performed. Cons As with any software, there are still things to improve. Most of the software out there assumes immediate fulfillment of orders so we had to have something to sit between our POS and our accounting software to "park" orders while in process. Also we wanted a robust backup for our ecommerce product information in order to easily manipulate product data and images especially in case we decide to change ecomm platforms in the future. Pros It is very adaptable and has a lot of features Cons It often takes a lot of adaptation to get exactly what I need out of the software. For example, for inventory management software, the question "what is the total dollar amount of on-hand inventory?" should be top of mind. Instead it's totally buried in a report not exactly suited for that purpose. So I had to tweak the report and favorite the amended report to have that info handy. A bunch of remote people searching for answers on the fly in a knowledge base. They mentioned they have a lot of turnover, which is a recipe for disaster in any support division. Pros It's fine for managing inventory, but not much more useful than a spreadsheet Cons They promised Hubspot integration, and none of it works. It's a known issue, but they don't seem to know how to resolve it. And they have a strict no refund policy, so we were sold something that doesn't do what they say it will. Most companies give a refund for products that don't work as promised. Pros Is really great for traceabilty of our products from ingredient to end customer. Has lots of great functionality Excellent value for money Good support - they always get straight back to us Cons There is just a couple of basic features missing that we have brought up before.. You can attach files to lots of areas such as Sales etc but you can't attach a file to an assembly - which in a food product is where you would want to attach a file - eg the batch record, pasteuriser log etc. This would make quite a difference When you print a label for a product there is no option for creating ITF14 barcodes for outer packaging (standard) Be good if there was a way of manually setting the cost price and margins for an assembled product Review Source Response from Cin7 December 14, 2017 Hi Rick, Thank you for the review. The company is almost continually updating & improving the software. I remain hopeful that at some point the frustrating aspects of the program will be resolved. The implementation is straightforward and does not require a 3rd party to execute. We have trialed and used a number of entry-level MRP systems and believe this to be the best offering at this time. Cons The integration with QB is messy and riddled with errors. It seems like the integration with Xero is better but we use QBO for many other integrations so have not made the switch to Xero. It has revolutionised our company and allowed us to grow quickly, expanding the product range and marketplaces. It ties everything in beautifully so that, in conjunction with Xero, we have complete management control of the business. It's truly brilliant and I would recommend it without hesitation. Pros It's stable, reliable, never goes wrong and the support staff are excellent. When problems do occur, they are sorted out very quickly. Synchronisation with Xero, Amazon and eBay is near-flawless. Cons Some aspects are a little unintuitive, and it does entail the user understanding quite a lot about how stock control works. The B2B trade portal isn't great and needs a rethink. These are very small issues though compared with what the system does well - which is nearly everything. Review Source LR Lee R. Sometimes the connection is a bit slow - not sure if it is our NBN internet connection or the platform.
