I can track jobs, candidate progress, status, etc, very very easily The customer service is great. A bit slow - no one is there when you call - but they call you back, are very friendly and very thorough

Pros

1\. Implementation consists....of a few minutes of work with the support team to get going 2. They can do a data conversion fairly quickly. 3. Learning to get started in it in is fast and intuitive. Then, as you learn more about it and figure out how to do things better, you can change what you do - and your prior work is not completely messed up! 4. Integration with my company website and with job boards is simply fantastic

Cons

Data conversion is expensive - but, I guess, so is everyones....

I compared features and reviews, then discarded Zoho, as the others were more in line with what i wanted. I then trialed Big Biller, PCRecruiter and Crelate and found Crelate to match what i need, has intuitive interface and is expandable to some interesting new features.

### "I tried another ATS first and I wish I would have just gone with Crelate from the beginning..."

Great, pleasant all the way from the sales to the set up.

Pros

I was torn between Crelate and another ATS and I wish I would have gone with Create from the beginning. Unfortunately I went with the other ATS that had so many features and not a streamline way of usage that it was hard to use all of the features available. Crelate offers many great features AND they are user friendly. Starting with Crelate would have been a game changer.

Cons

It would be great if there was an extra check in call after a month or so (even if it needs to be paid for) just to make sure everything is flowing correctly. It's nice that there is one after you switch over but sometimes questions come up after you have been in the flow of using the system more. My main reason for going with the other ATS at first was because they had similar prices but offered more users. Having a feature where I could have had a part time or admin access for a smaller cost would have probably stopped me from going to the other ATS in the beginning.

Stressing and frustrating, I have to learn the system myself and solved all the issues on my own. I am currently having new issues and there is no personal customer support.

Pros

Besides the appearance, that was it. The tabs on the left and at the top were very self explanatory, everything beyond the Home Screen got complicated with confusing training and outdated videos.

Cons

Poor customer support. There is no one to speak with whenever you call, leaving a message does not get a follow up and if it does the minimum time is 48 hours later. The chat robot keeps sending references that do not help to solve the problem, During the training courses the instructor normally talks around your questions or give a political answer.

### "Crelate - Its all about the tech support!"

From purchasing the system to tailoring it to our needs, Crelate was with me every step. We resolved the emailing problem with a workaround and Kyle Kroger was very involved till the end. Once we were using Crelate daily, whenever there were issues, Crelate's response was under an hour. Its all about the technical support, as most ATS have the same basic functionality.

Pros

I have used numerous ATS (JazzHR, Bullhorn, EZAcess, Taleo, etc) and Crelate is at the top of my list because of the technical support. At the end of the day, ATSs offer the same function and what separates one from another is the tech support: the response, the attention, and the resolution

Cons

Crelate can be wonky at times but what ATS cant!

We focus on legal recruiting with a team of 5 and we love it. We're able to collaborate and it's helpful to support our search processes.

Pros

The recruiting side of the platform is incredibly easy to setup and navigate. It's easy to customize and keep yourself organized for your searches. I think it's user friendly and great for people that work solo or in team.

Cons

The sales side of Crelate is slowly getting better as they work on it. It's less easy to navigate making calls quickly to Sales contacts with how they have it setup. I believe they are in the process of improving this.

### "Good ATS need to CRM could use some help"

\[sensitive content hidden\] was an excellent onboarding representative. He was able to answer 98% of our questions and would quickly get information from his team on the remaining 5%. He's patient and very knowledgeable. I've only had the experience of creating templates and sending emails so far, so I don't think I am a reliable source for this question.

Pros

We just finished our onboarding, so I can't say yet.

Cons

We were under the impression that Crelate was both an ATS and a CRM. A basic function of a CRM is to capture incoming leads through a website or other links outside of Crelate. We have multiple forms on our website, some of which ask for a narrative that captures potential leads. We use links (lead magnets) outside of our website to communicate with us for business development. We've spent countless hours and related expenses trying to figure out how to tag where leads are coming from within Crelate. We did a workaround, but seems like a big miss. We almost went with Loxo because of their AI offerings and ability to update contact information automatically. I think you should consider the same.

Because, at the time, we were told we could use Zapier to add functionality and specifically the ability to connect our website visitor activity to the CRM (which has proven to be difficult!) whereas with Loxo they only offered an open API which would have been very costly to make every form, survey, lead magnet, etc. programmed into the system individually.

Overall, very positive. I've been hearing from my team that Crelate has been a lifesaver for our firm. Everyone is able to do their work quicker and easier. Communication between teams is also easier. Crelate Support is very responsive and helpful. I greatly appreciate the screenshots and short videos the Support reps provide so I can fully understand the solution.

Pros

Its very intuitive and easy to use. Lots of customization options as well.

Cons

Almost all of our SOPs were built around our old ATS software, I think the firm is still adapting to Crelate. This is not so much a "con" as it is something new for us that we're still learning new ways to adapt and take advantage of. There are some bugs I've submitted tickets for that are still under development. Understandably these things take time, but I only get an update after I reach out about it. It would be nice to receive updates/know when the problem has been resolved without prompting the follow up.

I actually had a pleasant experience with Crelate. It was easy to use, we liked the interface and they offer excellent customer service/support. Anytime we had an issue, they would resolve it in a reasonable amount of time.

We converted from Crelate to LOXO because Crelate didn't have a proprietary internal database of candidates and LOXO did.

Their US based support is pretty good. My encounter with offshore support wasn't. Certain things that should be part of the base package are not such as email journaling across multiple domains.

Pros

Visually appealing. Pretty easy to use. Support is decent. It especially helps if you send a video so they can see what you're seeing.

Cons

Seems like they try to nickel and dime you for everything. As recruiting has evolved, you would think things that should be part of their base package would be there. Instead, they want you to upgrade to a higher level offer to get those things even thought they raise their price every year. If you import records via csv you can only import 100 records per worksheet and 1,000 records per workbook at one time. There is also a limit on the number of records you can export from the database at one time.

### "A Great Product in the Making"

My overall impression of Crelate is that its a very ambitious and powerful potential tool that is still in its early phases of trying to be everything it wants to be. I see the vision for how it is completely set apart from other systems, and am fully on board with where it's going.However, as I've mentioned, we've recognized a steady occurrence of bugs or design implementations that often set us back in what we're trying to accomplish in our day to day efforts. Have voiced many of these either to our account manager (when important enough) or via the feedback boards to try to gain movement on them, but understandably, can only implement so much at once, and we are just one of many clients.

Pros

Crelate offers us, as an Executive Recruiting Firm, the ability to stand out in what and how we present to our clients. The customizability of the workflows, reporting, and process implementation are unlike any other system we've worked with or demoed in the past, and I have a lot of confidence that this will set us apart in the future.

Cons

In our (roughly) 1 year on the product, despite steady improvements and feature rollouts, there seems to be just a few pieces missing that would really accelerate the ease of use of the product on a basic user level. Things like searching would be much easier if we were able to have default search templates, for example. Or when we go to do certain searches, we notice a search parameter doesn't work quite the way we want, or can't quite do exactly what we intended it to do. Sequencing and reporting features are wonderful ideas that just have small executional problems that create small but frustrating holes in what you're trying to accomplish. For example a lot is tracked in reporting around leads, but we discovered a small problem where Leads (due to converting into Jobs at certain stage changes) can't be put into the same "Cancelled" sales stages as jobs. So to get around it we create additional "Lead Closed" stages that bog down the options for sales stages, when the ideal option would be to just have a single "Closed" or "Cancelled" stage for all Leads and Jobs that doesn't convert anything.It almost seems that in the ambition to be good at 100 things at once, there end up being few features of the system that aren't really fleshed out to factor in as many case scenarios as you'd like.I feel like it will get there, but as it stands, I see areas where the product is suffering from either bugs or small design implementations that disadvantage the day to day recruiter.

Selecting Crelate was a great decision that we made when we started the company. System conversions can be very disruptive but having one ATS all along that develops as you do has been super helpful.

Pros

Crelate is very intuitive and user friendly. Cost is reasonable compared to other similar applicant tracking systems. What I like best is that they are continuously making upgrades and improvements which improve functionality without slowing you down.

Cons

We have been using it for 8 years and it really has worked out great for us. My only regret is that I don't maximize all of it's functionality. But that's more a factor of running a busy desk as opposed to anything negative about Crelate.

It has been great. Implementation went well, adoption was good, and the system is pretty intuitive to use. Easy compared to other systems.

Pros

I like the platform overall. The feature requests have been great and the willingness of the team to listen to feedback and execute has been great.

Cons

Some glitches, such as requiring saving when nothing has been changed, and other minor things.

Overall, I think Crelate has some really great features and has helped me with staying organized in my high-volume workflow.

Pros

I love the ability to create sequences and tasks to better track my work. I also love the ability to send out mass campaigns. Being able to create opportunities and pipelines within each opportunity w/ a bit of modifications is also really good to have.

Cons

Better automation and higher volume for bulk texts. Only being able to send 25 bulk texts at a time (I'm used to being able to send 100 at a time) has really been a time suck for me, especially being in high volume recruiting. It takes 2 minutes for each bulk to go through as well. I also think that there should be an option for automated texts on sequences - the ability to create a sequence is grate, but having to wait for the sequence to refresh to the next step and then manually hit SEND for each text step of a sequence is an EXTREMELY tedious task! I also find it a bit frustrating that I cannot add an image in my email campaign as easily as I can in sending an email manually - it does not seem to work as well in that regard. It would also be nice to not have a limit for sequences as I create them for my call blocks and have to deactivate one to be able to create another at this point in time - even though we are a tiny team, we are a team with a lot of tasks! I also think there should be an option to mute the RingCentral incoming calls - while Google Chrome is the preferred browser, I find myself using Firefox because I can easily mute tabs vs having to mute the whole site on chrome. I always have more than one tab open, so if I am taking a call and another call is incoming, it will ring in Chrome, but in Firefox, I can simply mute the tabs that I am not taking calls on and there is no ringing.

Pros

As the Director of Research, I love how customizable and data-driven everything is. Unbelievable how much I can learn from any given profile at a macro perspective. The Crelate support team is always helpful, responsive, and pays attention to customer feedback! I get so excited every time there's a software update.

Cons

I'd love to have more robust applicant intake capabilities...I wish we could set the application to have certain questions that when answered a certain way trigger an automated rejection email to the applicant. It would be nice to be able to pin Ring Central texts. I also use a lot of saved searches to maintain clean data in our system and they can be hard to find sometimes. I'd love to be able to 'type to find' a saved search I'm looking for.

Amazing updates, each one better than the last. Their help desk is great a getting back to you in a timely manner, and escalating if they can't figure it out right away. Having the option to submit feedback and then voting on which items to prioritize for fixes or improvements is a great community experience. The webinars are nice refreshers or nice teaching tools.

My overall experience has been pleasant, and easy. I love that when I put in a ticket I always get great help and they even send videos.

Pros

Crelate has made it easier for us to search up candidates that go back in our system.

Cons

I don't like the update. I don't like that the new update changed the way we open job orders. I have had issues with it since day 1.

We are a new customer. Membership in Crelate for users has been very good. This is a great improvement to our work tools. Our implementation is not completely finished. We have reached certain limits of Crelate which do not allow us to perfectly implement our placement processes.

Pros

We like the interface. The ability to easily configure the application.

Cons

For us, the placement section does not perfectly meet our needs. Several features could be added

Overall positive. It works fine with LinkedIn/Recruiter.

Pros

I find it mostly easy to use, not much to complain about

Cons

Wish it would pull better data from LinkedIn, like location fields and such for easy sorting later without much manual entry

10/10!! I think this is the best Applicant Tracking System out there!

Pros

I think the user interface and workflows are very intuitive. I find it very easy to navigate to handle all of my recruiting needs. I also like the Crelate support team, who is very responsive and extremely helpful. I have never seen anything like them!
