### "Crelate is Awesome!"

Pros

What is there not to love? Crelate is super intuitive and customizable. I love how everything can as zoomed out or zoomed into the details as you want. The job postings are super quick and easy, and really help with our passive sourcing.

Cons

I haven't really found many areas where I feel Crelate is lacking. One issue I have occasionally is the Crelate extension will stop working out of nowhere and the only way I've found to get it to work again is to uninstall and reinstall the extension. This doesn't happen that often though and isn't too hard of a workaround fix.

Unsatisfactory!

Pros

Ease of use and functionality between screens was nice.

Cons

The support in the beginning when I signed up for it was good. Thereafter, diminished to the terrible. I changed vendors, cancelled my subscription three months early and never received a refund even though asking and reminding numerous times. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company.

I am glad to be first introduced to an ATS system that was this easy to use, and the customer support has always been timely and exceptionally friendly.

Pros

As a new employee the ease of use and training was straight forward, the reporting is simple and customizable. The cost relative to the usability is excellent, and keep clear notes in each candidate's profile is clear.

Cons

The resume search function especially when filters are applied seem to be limited. An ability to categorize the candidate based by region rather than super specific city might be helpful.

Overall my experience has been good. Anytime I have had a question I always received a thorough answer quickly.

Pros

It is very intuitive. It was easy to pick up. When I wanted to find something, the most logical place to find the answer was where the answer was.

Cons

I don't not like how the systems don't talk to each. If I upload a fee agreement to a specific job, I want it to also upload into the company's file. When I add a website file in the job, I would want it to also upload to the company page so I am not duplicating my efforts. Also the address for individuals and company's is all American, I would like it to also populate for Canada.

We really like the work flow and the ability to link it with LinkedIn and use the social media option to search people.

Overall, it's a very good platform. I've used a lot of different platforms over the last 15+ years and I think Crelate is my favorite.

Pros

It is very intuitive and makes the tracking of candidates easy. You know what stage a candidate is in.

Cons

My big gripe with the software is formatting. When submitting a candidate to a client, we submit a "write-up" or the candidate's narrative. I prefer doing it in Word and then copying and pasting the document into Crelate. Unfortunately, the format never comes across the same and there has to be a lot of editing before sending it to the client. If I do the write-up directly into Crelate, there aren't enough formatting choices to my satisfaction. For example, when doing a bullet-point document, you can't have sub-bullets, if that makes any sense.

This is a very intuitive platform and easy reports. The service is also great and helpful as well.

Cons

Jobs could be a little easier to search. Sometimes with wonky job numbers, it's not as easy to automatically add candidates to a certain req.

Overall this software could be great if the product was actually written for the country it is sold in.

Pros

Having all the jobs and candidates in one place. Also having a resume database for searches.

Cons

Its lack of software design and full usage outside the USA As a Canadian firm, we cannot use the software as it is truly intended. It is frustrating and can be problematic.

I truly enjoy using Crelate, it's easy to understand and very user friendly

Pros

It is easy to use, and color coordinates everything. I'm a visual learner and as such find it easy to locate items / candidates when they are all under one tile in different colors. The options of placing candidates into different stages of the process is also very clean and useful, you don't need to scroll pages to find the candidates profiles ... it's all in that one tile or page.

Cons

I sometimes struggle with the reporting aspect of this software as I was not provided any formal training. I'm sure with some online help and reading material I should be good to go and able to use the reporting system with ease.

Pros

We were one of the first users of Crelate and it has really done wonders for my billing and productivity. It is clean, intuitive and extremely user-friendly. The customer service is rapid and patient. It can be used for simplistic applicant tracking to powerful data-searching and captures a ton of important information. I would be lost without it and cannot imagine who we operated pre-Crelate.

Cons

I wish that we had the option to gray out positions when they're on "hold" or not hot anymore.

Accessible platform, easy to search database, easily customization, time saving features, integrated with job boards and other browser embedded tools help us save time when recruiting for our clients.

Pros

A web based solution that is affordable allows my team to access the same information from multiple locations. This in itself makes it a much better solution for a small business like ours to be competitive in the marketplace. Additional features make everyday recruiting much more efficient. Am sooo glad I found this product!

Cons

Like all specialty platforms, it takes some learning. I learned about some features from other users. The up front training and set up was helpful, but on-going training would be really helpful. There are many videos available, but it would be nice to get regular emails from the company with topics like "did you know you could do this..."

I really like it! I find it much easier /more intuitive than our old system. I love the tile lay-out in the Search Dashboard. That really helps me see what I need to do and who I need to follow up with quickly. Very happy so far! (But still a new user.)

Pros

I love the brief video tutorials and outlines of how to do everything! You can look up exactly what you want to do and find a 3 minute video to show you how to do it. You don't have to listen to a 30 minute webinar. They also have diagrams to walk you through it. They have it broken down nicely for you.

Cons

So this could be user error (on my part)...But I do not find it easy to toggle back and forth between candidate documents. For example, I may want to have a candidate's CV open as well as their cover letter as well as the job spec notes for the position I want to discuss. I can't seem to have all three open and toggle back and forth in Crelate. I have to download each one and then do my toggling in Word.

Reason for choosing Crelate

It was not my decision...But the main reason for my nod to Crelate was the tutorial videos and diagrams.

I have worked with Crelate for the last 3+ years and have found it easy to work with as a user and an administrator. As our company has grown our needs with regards to activity tracking and reporting have grown as well. Crelate has allowed us to easily make additions/changes. It is customizable and that has definitely proven to be helpful for us.

Pros

I like the ease of use of Crelate. Additionally, our team utilizes Crelate to track candidates not only for contingent searches but also for our sourcing/recruiting hourly engagements. Different types of engagements require different types of activity tracking and reporting. Crelate is a tool that can accommodate the diversity of our needs.

Cons

I do wish that Crelate had a more robust candidate campaign capability. Having the ability to easily establish and maintain drip campaigns with candidates could be useful.

### "No regrets"

I purchased Crelate Talent as soon as I opened my new recruiting business and I haven't looked back. It's been an overall great experience and the product continues to evolve with great new features and benefits that we actually use. I highly recommend it for any other growing search firm.

Pros

The software is very intuitive, which means it's easy to train recruiters on and it's easy for them to incorporate into their workflows.

Cons

The reporting and analytics features take a bit of playing with to get used to and to set them up the way you want.

Overall, Crelate is a very solid ATS with a functional CRM. I think there are a lot of great features in the program that make the use and functionality of it very good. I think there are a couple limitations on the back end but overall I would recommend this program to other users.

Pros

The candidate and task tracking along with the reporting and analytics features are the most functional and have been perfected. These are the features I have used the most.

Cons

I think there are limitations with outside integrations for various things. For testing, sourcing, etc. There are some limitations for integrations.

One of the best Applicant Tracking Systems that I've used.

Pros

Easy to use. Great for importing candidates. Simple to document communications, set/follow tasks, organize recruiting activities. A Simple Boolean search with simple filters will help me find the right candidates within Crelate every time. Synchronizes well with Gmail, LinkedIn, and HirEZ.

Cons

Still working the bugs out. Although problems are resolved fairly quickly, we tend to hit some bumps in the road about twice a month.

We are solving the problem of communication between offices. It allows everyone to know where each job is at in the process of hiring.

Pros

I like how easy it is to navigate and use the software. Putting each candidate into each job that they're potentially interviewing for makes it easy to communicate with people that might be in a different office.

Cons

My least favorite part is not knowing about all of the features available. We went through the initial demo with a salesperson but haven't really kept up with all of it.

Rep. handled our migration. He was genius! Such a great analyst and made so many observations that helped me with the setup. I am shocked at how perfect the information migrated from MaxHire. It is seamless. I was worried because when I moved to MaxHire in 2009, my data was a mess! This time it is perfect. Rep. has been helping me with the onboarding and is doing a great job as well! The entire team is fantastic.

Pros

Crelate is an excellent software. I moved from MaxHire (Bullhorn) to Crelate. I looked at 4 other systems before choosing Crelate and I'm so glad I made this choice. Brittanie was so patient with me and took her time to show me benefits and features of the SW. In fact, I actually had 3 phone demos with her and she did an amazing job. All the SW vendors I looked at demoed at least 2 or 3 times before I made up my mind. I love how easily you can customize Crelate. Your own workflow, your own activities, your own special items you need to know like travel, citizenship status, relo, desired locations for relo, etc. Do yourself a favor and test drive this product; you will love it!!

Cons

The only thing I hope they add it to be able to return an email out of the system. All your emails are tracked but you can't respond to an email from the system. Otherwise....it's awesome.

All the features, custom capabilities and ease of use. AND Brittanie made a big difference. All of the staff I've encountered so far are great!

Pros

Great onbaording process that covers implementation and use. Once you are through this process - you can use the product right away and enjoy the benefits.

Cons

Getting additional seats (users) can be expensive.

Great. Easy to use and to train people with but the best part of it is that it is intuitive. We did not receive training on it so I had to figure a lot out by asking support and training the others.

You can search and find anything so easily. Even if something is mislabeled/categorized it is never lost because of the excellent search function. Past ATS systems I have used the search was not reliable when it came to words on the resume but Crelate is

Cons

The Reports. The software would be perfect if there was an effective way to grab individual reports for recruiters within our company based on splits on fees. We have account managers, recruiters and sources all who take part of each placement. The reports do not have an option to deal with this yet but I have asked in the help before and they are looking to add this so that is exciting.

Crelate has added to our productivity. Their customer service is best in class, and I don’t know how we recruited without this platform. We are a small boutique firm and I can tell you any small firm should definitely use this product. They will treat you with respect and help ensure their product works for you. That was not the experience we had with other large and well known recruiting software. You will not regret using Crelate!

Pros

Customer service is exceptional. Additionally product very easy to use with a great customer interface. Wonderful interface with job boards and other recruiting platforms.

Cons

Sometimes can’t use wildcards in certain fields for searches. Also new company files are created with parsed resumes which leads to messy/invalid company files.

If they fix some easy things with the software and figure out some of their process it would be an amazing software product. But I've been asking for my resumes for 3 weeks and instead of offering me a refund or anything they almost blame me.

Pros

The software is very easy to use and a great tool to be. It is very user friendly.

Cons

I've been waiting almost 3 weeks for them to upload my resumes because they are now getting rid of their office space and are having technical issues.
