It makes scheduling interviews and sharing information and potential hires and job descriptions very simple. The calendar feature is great and it reminds you when you have an interview that day. It is very simple to follow referred candidates and candidates you have interviewed throughout the hiring process. Cons You need to move off platform if you have been scheduled for an interview that you cannot actually accommodate. There is no way to "deny" or RSVP "no" within the platform itself. It was the smoothest company-wide rollout we've had with any of our internal systems, and the feedback from members across all of our teams has been positive right off the bat. When we have run into any issues (all very minor) the support for the Greenhouse team has been fast and efficient. With our previous ATS it was like pulling teeth to get a response so it's a breath of fresh air to hear back immediately through the live chat or nearly immediately when reaching out through email. Although we are still fairly new to using it, I'm thrilled by the results so far and excited by the features we are just starting to test out. It's amazing how extensive the features are while still being such a simple to use tool. A+ Cons It can be a bit of work upfront, so your team (not just staffing but everyone) needs to be on board. The really awesome features of the platform requires you to go beyond just the basic setup. The permissions can also be a bit tricky initially. Pros It's so intuitive and the support from customer service is impeccable. Since then, we have hired about 30 people (over 14 months). It has been really helpful to me since we don't have any other recruiting resources (schedulers, sourcing, etc.) There are a lot of other software providers that integrate with Greenhouse as well (Zenefits, background check companies and onboarding providers). We actually use Greenhouse Onboarding as well since we don't have an HR Resource yet. Pros Easy to navigate, immediately posts to many job boards, allows hiring managers to go in and review candidates pretty quickly. Also, the UI is pretty straight forward which allows there to be a pretty simple workflow. Another thing about is the scorecard feature - its never easy to get everyone's feedback from an interview so the scorecard allows you to customize the evaluation form for each position. Cons My only con about is the scheduling aspect - you have to schedule each interview separately instead of just making one big schedule. Review Source dO drew O. We have had to contact customer service a few times and they are always friendly and more than willing to explain what we're not understanding. Cons With the new version of , users are unable to add galleries of photos anywhere on their website, which they were able to do on the previous version. Our old ATS would simply track and hold info (basically we did the work and told the ATS what we had done as a record) but Greenhouse actually facilitates our interviewing, selection and hiring process. It also easily integrates with our background check system and Workday. As good as this is the support we have received from our Customer Success Manager as well as the integration team and the reporting system team has been amazing. I would give them a perfect Net Promoter score. I recently joined a company to start their first recruiting team, and has been absolutely incredible in patiently answering endless questions, helping me with training, and figuring out the best work flow for the types of needs we have. Their instant messaging that is built into the software is also wonderful to have for those quick questions when you can't find something, or figure something out. I love being able to manage job postings from Greenhouse, track where candidates are coming from, as well as the reporting features that are built in. It really is a one stop shop for any recruiter's success. Cons The only thing I can think of is when a resume won't parse, which is very rare and an issue within the resume not . They've really thought of just about everything and are making updates and improvements all the time so there isn't much I can think of that is a negative. Cons There were 1 or 2 tasks that I did not complete via the software's portal. This was fine by the company's standards, at least my manager never mentioned it. , however, felt it necessary to remind me of my incomplete forms every day, including after it was due. My serious concern is regarding cover letters and CV documents not displaying on the website and you need to download them (example a docx file). If you don't need certain features, don't start them off in your implementation. It can really get away from you.
