President Construction Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Maturing with JONAS" October 18, 2016 5.0 It was hard work. The JONAS staff was always encouraging and available. I feel that JONAS is not just a product we use but a partner with MAX Construction, Inc. I love sharing my ideas with JONAS. Some even are being adopted. Some are not, but as a team we are getting the best of both worlds and a product that can be catered to our needs. JONAS listens and adapts the ideas that will benefit the majority. Pros All information is in real time. Now that we are set up and operating we are developing the reports, and switching over to JONAS as our total system. Eventually we hope to be paperless. I love that I can access JONAS from anywhere in the world. I like the challenge of making this product something special. It looks like it was written for our needs only and yet it services such a large variety of customers. Cons It would be nice if all documents could be scrolled. Review Source TC Tom C. Pros Very easy to use once you get acclimated to it - I had a hard time switching from IE to the cloud but I'm getting the hang of it ! Cons I'm working on those.Using the cloud tends to make it a bit slower when adding info - I'm used to Internet Explorer and zipping thru but I'll get it ! I have been using Simply accounting for more than 10 years without a problem. i was lost using this system. There are so many steps for a simple entry that it became ridiculous. Pros It does everything for construction management. It stores drawings, alerts everyone of change orders ccnn's , rfi's and does accopunting too. Cons My bookkeeper looked at it and asked if I would mind if she took the info from my entries and continued using sage. There is no payroll with this. " February 22, 2018 5.0 Pros It takes time to set up the whole system correctly, but the overall experience is fantastic, especially for job cost reporting. It really helped our PM and Superintendent to get real cost in time to have better budget control. Cons Customized cost report function hasn't been implemented. I have been doing ok with it, getting a little easier each day. But, I think that customer service is critical in the success of any company today, and Jonas Premier is one of the best in customer service!!! Pros The customer service and staff have been wonderful. There is never a problem having questions answered and even having a one on one conference to resolve any problems or issues. Cons I have had a slight problem getting accustomed to the software and how it works. As with anything new, there is always a learning curve, training yourself to work differently. The videos are good but some were difficult to listen to. But, the staff from Jonas Premier has helped me almost immediately. Review Source EM Emily M. I like the fact that the platform uses microsoft office applications for some of the integration. I also like that this makes the progress billing easy for my client. It seems like it was built for accounting and not for construction. There is no ease of use. Pros Relative to Construction, I don't like it. Cons Relative to Construction: It is cumbersome. May 28, 2019 5.0 We had the most amazing Jonas employee walking us (hand holding) through the implementation period. She was just absolutely the best . It's been great to see how the modules work together and really solidify our project management and record keeping. Pros If you can think up a functionality, chances are Jonas already has created it or is in the process of creating it. Cons It currently doesn't offer consolidation capabilities, so we've had to create a work-around. March 13, 2014 5.0 Jonas Software is a very good product, includes a low learning curve and a system that's easy to use. As well the system gather data from all aspects of our construction process and allow us to better manage our costs in our construction departments with better reporting tools. There is a lot of information in Jonas that can be used to analyze your company, also Jonas Software ensured accuracy, offers the security, reliability and a very quick response time on any queries. Pros The ability to see the financial status of your projects, at a glance is really helpful. It is important to be able to follow your project budgets real time!
