It's an efficient process and you can easily make changes or updates when you need to. Cons I wish they had it setup so that I could have private or folders that had limited access so that it could only be accessed by certain users. From uploading ease, to the multitude of options to sort our products in a way that best accommodated those who need these files, Brandfolder was easy for us to pick up and has become a powerful tool for our brand team. Cons For our needs, there are more organizational options that we need. We had to learn through trial and error that just because these options are there, we don't really need them all. To go from no formal process to something so structured has been amazing. It is great to be so organized and be able to find and share assets quickly is a real time saver. Pros The best part about BrandFolder is the customer support - I truly appreciate the immediate and thorough communication with their reps. They also make time to do lengthy video screen share meetings when an email is not enough. I also really like the metrics you can view to get a real sense of what is working/what is popular through the user data. Cons There are many features that are problematic for our main user audience groups. The asset having a cap at 100 uploads, the unintuitive placement and language of some of the way Brand Folder names things. But most of all, the platform is very glitchy for my entire team. Cons Time limits on certain assets over others, but I do understand they only have finite space in the end. Reason for choosing Brandfolder Coincidentally, it was offered as a solution for product information & multimedia at a convenient time. The software was easy to use, everything was organized and easy to find. I could navigate everything quickly and come back when I needed more marketing materials. Overall, I am very happy with my experience and glad that my company decided to use Brandfolder because it made finding marketing materials so much easier. It is by far the best filing and library system I have ever used. It is perfect for holding design collateral and downloaded imagery which is automatically categorises for you making it so easy to access anything you need at a click of a button. Absolutely brilliant and I would highly recommend it. Cons The only think I like least about it is that you constantly have to upgrade your package one you reach your limit with becomes costly. All my assets are right there. I can just search for what I need asset wise which is nice to use key words. Cons The drop box link is NOT INTUITIVE AT ALL. I had to basically transfer all my files to my personal acct and then upload them which was a hassle.
