Worst ever! I wish I could move into another system, but as you know it takes months to transition and we just don't have the time to change over.

Pros

Nothing. From support to features, this software has to be one of the worst out there. I suspect all the reviews are all paid. There is no way anyone can like this as an inventory management software - it doesn't even work

Cons

Everything. The system does not calculate inventory correct - known issue and they are "working on it with high priority" since August of 2018. Until then, you are expected to "deal with it" and give you "work-arounds" that takes 5 additional steps and MUST be done EXACTLY or your invenotry will be allocated twice. There is no support system - it's basically just emails. Their average support ticket per customer is 2 x a month and they brag that this is "good" - RUN. Any system that thinks having 2 issues a month with a system that should just work, I would never recommend. We actually use this system heavily and I have 2 support tickets at a minimum a week. There's NOTHING intuitive with the system. Do a demo, look at the user interface and go with your intuition. When you have a system that feels like your in The 90's you in for a world of trouble.

If they had account managers that helped follow things thru and understood the system . It would be a really good system .

Pros

Basic stuff works ok . Pretty stable cloud plate form . Good view of products purchased from customers in Crm

Cons

Not even sure if we can use it , for on account customers ( 4 +years later ) intergration to Shopify poor . Stocktake module good luck . Smart buyer no good if you have more that one store . View on location stock when doing adjustments useless . Ebay module is for downloading orders only . Lots of bugs in general . Pay for premium support and still seem to go around in circles

We have integrated our website and direct native integration to Markeplace Channels like the ICONIC and also the Cin 7 B2B platform for our wholesale channel...it has been very easy to transition from our old platform to CIN7 where everything is now under one roof

My overall experience is highly positive. The UX is great. Our integration specialist \[sensitive content hidden\] was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the entire process. Despite some internal challenges regarding our particular product (highly customizable), the overall functionality of Cin7 is exactly what our business needs for effective inventory and warehouse management.

Pros

Integration was simple. The product is mostly intuitive and it possesses all (or most) of the features necessary to manage the inventory for our business needs. The reporting and insights are robust and useful. The ability to import and export products, stock-takes, and BOMs via CSV file or direct copy and paste is especially useful when handling large amounts of data.

Cons

Some low-level or simple processes that intuitively seem like they should be easy are complex or difficult to achieve.Some processes are opaque and difficult to understand why a particular module doesn't function in an expected manner.The lack of NetSuite integration is a negative for our particular business.

Actually sometimes it is with limitations in terms of functions and features, we must be very careful when working with the system of this software because if you are not using it at the beginning correctly, in the end the recording of data will not be precise and concise.

Cons

When completing a sales invoice it shows the cost price , on occasions we have had a customer watching, hence they can see ( there is possibly a way to hide this but at this stage I have not found out how to do )

I think it is a feature rich tool but it is stuff in the past as have not seen anything new in Cin7 . Annoying how frequently and aggressively they increase their price, particular when they are not delivering anything new for it. Their support has really suffered, so a great tool as long as everything is working and youdon't need help.

Software is good and reasonably safe and stable and has good features once and boarded in familiarised it is reasonably easy to use

Cons

Cin7 has evolved very little since i started using it 4 years ago, The products has less errors and downtime but the support has got worse

I am very impressed with Cin7 and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a robust and flexible inventory system. It's helping streamline my work processes, improve my productivity and efficiency, and deliver high-quality results.

Pros

It's highly customizable and very easy to get familiar with, it's user friendly and very intuitive as well!

Cons

I wish it had a better integration with shipping carriers such as DHL or Fedex it is possible to use this carriers only if an app is installed and downlad but it would be great if they could be directly integrated with Cin7.

### "Always innovating"

We have used the software for a few years now and during that time the Cin7 organisation continues to innovate and develop new initiatives to make the user experience more functional and purposeful. While our business doesn't need the full suite, it is easy enough to use and integrate the relevant areas to suit our needs. The best part is the customer support in my experience. Very responsive and always quick to solve any issues.

Pros

Customer support and communication around updates etc. is excellent. The cloud-based software is very user-friendly and easy to access from anywhere.

Cons

Our business doesn't have the need to utilise the full potential of the software.

On a daily basis Cin7 works well to manage our manually entered orders and inventory receipts and product builds. When it comes to more complicated processes, CIn7 can be tricky.

Pros

Cin7 is easy to learn and use if you have limited skus and don't require tricky integrations. Order management is simple.

Cons

Cin7 requires specially built integrations to connect to 3PL's, like Deliverr.

Cin7 is exactly what the business needed - we originally wouldn't of moved to a new software if our previous inventory management system didn't sunset. however the team is over the moon with the features and use of Cin7. everything happens for a reason - and i believe this software will help the business grow

### "Customisable to a degree"

After much research, we started using Cin7 in 2015. We have a somewhat complex business, with various facets - a retail space requiring POS, holding stock of a large array of products, an online store, a commercial arm of the business that sells mainly customised furniture. This requires keeping stock of standard components, issuing multiple purchase orders, and ultimately building one-off end products. The functionality and look of Cin7 is quite good, but as we are a design business, it's important that our paperwork and systems suit the image of our business. It's been great to be able to setup custom templates for all our documentation for a consistent look. The expanding list of integrations is promising - we currently use Shopify and Xero, and these work well for us. What is lacking (and hopefully possible with a future plug-in), is a scheduling aspect. We deliver projects with various stages and milestones, though we cannot use Cin7 for an easy overview / status updates. While some aspects are customisable (pivot table reporting is great), we'd like to be able to tailor the Dashboard reports. The customer support is sometimes amazing, other times leaves something to be desired. The hierarchy of urgency on tickets doesn't seem to bear much weight! The new 'help' website is brilliant though. Look forward to this being expanded further. Essentially, it's a neat inventory system and POS, that can be customised to a degree.

Pros

The software looks better than most but does NOT deliver further than looks.

Cons

Amazon Integration was sloppy and pulled in incorrect inventory levels (we verified this since we know how to connect to Amazon's API and pull reports). Walmart integration does not match SKUs (this can be done but they blame Walmart). Accounting integrations only record revenue and cogs (no fees broken out) which means you'll have to manually reconcile your payouts to thousands of invoices (they have no best practices or recommendations on how to reconcile after they push tons of invoices to your accounting software). Their support team is horrible and will not admit to mistakes and bugs in their own software. We couldn't go live because integrations were not working properly and EDI + 3PL integrations never got set up. If you're looking for a legit and accurate inventory management, WMS, or ERP software, Cin7 is definitely NOT the software you are looking for.

The support team in Cin7 is extraordinary, they are extremely responsive and helpful in all aspects. We have also been recevied positive feedbacks from our clients who are now using Cin7, where they have noticed increased and improved efficiency in temrs of workflow by both automation and well-designed Purchasing and Sales modules where it is user friendly and easy to train new staffs on!

### "Avoid Cin7 at all costs - The support is the biggest joke going."

Pros

Good UX, things do work well once you have them set up, but you can guarantee that there will be some sort of convoluted, complicated stage to most setup processes.

Cons

The support is dreadful, and I mean dreadful. We have had open tickets on the most basic issues for over a month, everything has to be escalated to teams that are useless at fixing issues and doing their job and while they do come back to you - it's normally just to tell you they can't resolve the issue and you're going to have to wait longer. The worst part is despite raising this issue and submitting a formal complaint, there is zero improvement. Please for the sake of your own sanity, just do not use Cin7 - it can not be relied upon by any business due to the woeful support. This is all a real shame as the platform is solid and good to use with a good UX, it's just a shame they have left the most important part of the whole package at the bottom of the priority list, product support.

Cin7 has been a powerful solution that I have helped clients implement into their business to improve their inventory control and manage their business operations. I have seen clients reduce operating costs by becoming leaner and more efficient saving in one case $150,000 annually. I have seen clients expand their business operations into new markets, new stores, new online marketplaces and new business opportunities. Cin7 has been in some cases changed completely the way business operate and have been able to transform themselves that more aligns with the company's vision and goals. With recent developments in automation, forecasting, multi-online platform support, multi-company (Quad Accounting) integration and planned developments. We migrated to Cin7 for inventory and order management due to the sunsetting of Stitch Labs following its acquisition by Square. Cin7 was recommended by Stitch Labs as a featured migration platform. We considered several solutions but ultimately selected Cin7 based on its overall functionality, cost-effectiveness, and ability to meet our compressed migration timeline of approximately one month. The sales and onboarding teams at Cin7 have been very friendly and responsive during this process. In particular, I would like to recognize our knowledgeable and patient implementation specialist, Varun, who has been immensely helpful in supporting our migration through a series of Zoom meetings and related communications. We were able to seamlessly go live within the desired time frame thanks to Varun and the Cin7 team.

Pros

\- Omnichannel inventory and order management. - Easy to connect with Shopify, Amazon, ShipStation, etc. - Ability to handle bill of materials and contract manufacturing. - Ability to track actual costs, quantities, and locations of products by batch. - Lower cost and reduced implementation time compared to ERP systems. - Friendly and responsive sales and onboarding teams.

Cons

Cin7's user interface is not the most aesthetically pleasing or streamlined (somewhat cluttered and clunky compared to our previous inventory and order management software, Stitch Labs), but I'll take the superior functionality and flexibility over form.

Cin7 not only have a rock solid product, they also know how important it is to offer high quality integration with a wide variety of 3rd parties. In my case it's Magento 2, Xero and my 3PL warehouse, Coghlan. It took a little while to get familiar with Cin7 and to get the Magento and 3PL integrations working as I wanted, but the onboarding and implementation support from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been excellent and the company has definitely fulfilled it's promises. Reasonably priced for small business too. Highly recommended!

Pros

The range of quality of integration options. Performance, reliability and support are excellent. I'm sure there's a lot more but I've barely scratched the surface of what Cin7 can do.

Cons

Could be more intuitive and takes a while to get familiar with but, once you know what you're doing, it's fine.

### "Big Upgrade from our past system"

So far we are very happy with Cin7 and anticipate that it will meet our needs as we grow for the foreseeable future.

Pros

Historically, we had a very hard time of getting accurate inventory counts due to our past system not syncing with our e-commerce system and Amazon. Cin7 is linked to all our selling channels which provide for down to the unit accuracy. Other features that made Cin7 appealing is the ability to keep track of virtual bundles and the fact that it is cloud-based.

Cons

Like any new software there is a bit of a learning curve, but Cin7's, onboarding team, particularly \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\], were excellent in getting us up to speed.

We have been looking for an application to house all the components of our business in one place. For years we have been using an array of programs and spread sheets, which increases the complexity and confusion within the business. Cin7 has enabled us to eliminate the majority of these additional applications and simplify the tools we use.

Pros

For years we have been experimenting with systems that will enable us to grow. Cin7 is now centred as our core system that handles stock purchasing through to customers sales to even document management.

Cons

The size and potential of Cin7 is huge, which means it can be very time consuming setting up and customising it to your needs. We are still learning even now.

Cin7 is a bit of an all-encompassing beast, and covers most angles that any SME (and larger) will likely require. The integration with Xero is a neat trick; works like a dream. The learning curve on Cin7 is longer than, say, TradeGecko, but is still pretty intuitive. The guys in support know what they are doing and keen to help. The only thing to be improved is the support hours; great if you're in NZ, not so great if you're in another time zone. Once they come up with that, they'll have all the bases covered

Pros

Solid system. Very little downtime. Superb interface for Xero users.

Cons

Not good on client consignment. Can't add landed costs when moving between, say, dutiable borders. Support by email/ticket only unless you pay premium pricing.

Onboarding was rough however once we started working with someone who was able to understand the questions we were asking, it was a breeze. There have been some hiccups during the 10 months we've been using Cin7 however our support manager, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] has always been incredibly helpful to address all of our concerns. General support takes a really long time to respond but \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is always on top of it.

The bundling/kitting functionality in Cin7

Cons

The reporting. There are so many reports to choose form which is amazing however none of the reports actually work accurately without a lot of help from support.
